“inventory integration but awkward navigation”

The inventory management piece was not particularly simple to use but I did see that it integrates properly with other components.

Cons

Navigation wasn't very simple. I'm more accustomed to working with a WMS-style program.

Pros

Being able to quickly search for my orders is really helpful and I also appreciate having the option to cancel an order whenever I need to.

Cons

One thing I don't like is that an order will sometimes show as fulfillable even when it actually can't be fulfilled.

The setup and day-to-day use feel pretty easy and I found it did not take much effort to get my team using it consistently every day.

This is the platform our 3PL relies on for warehouse management and since they support multiple customers, that creates some limitations. The biggest frustration I've run into is that they can't enable certain critical settings for our account without impacting their other customers. One example is allowing the same item to be added twice on an order. Having that capability would make a huge difference.

In daily use, it has been very easy. It offers plenty of ways to customize reports and I find the overall visibility into the data really strong.

Cons

One thing I'd still love to have is an orders dashboard that shows how many orders shipped over a selected timeframe like a day, month, or quarter which states those orders are going to and which items from those orders are getting low in stock.

We rely on it every single day and I see it has become a core part of how we operate.

Honestly I can't think of anything negative about Inforplus based on the way we use it.

Pros

A feature that works particularly well is the Shopify connection. When I cancel an order in Shopify, it also gets canceled in Info Plus which I find really helpful.

Cons

A big frustration is not being able to see unit counts on pending orders. We handle a lot of pre-orders and I need a quick way to check how many of each item is currently on order but that visibility just is not there. That is something I should be able to review every day. Another issue is address updates. If an address changes on an order, I should only have to update it in Shopify but right now I have to make the change there and then go into Info Plus and update it again. That function should be fully linked between the two systems.

The ability to tailor the system and create custom scripts is a big advantage and I personally value that flexibility a lot.

Cons

The biggest downside is the speed. Their servers are extremely slow which makes everything take longer than it should. If they improved server performance, this would easily be one of the best systems out there.

Running a warehouse means depending on software that consistently works and I have found this one delivers reliably. It may not have the flashiest look but it gets the job done.

Getting started takes some time since there's a bit of a learning curve.

Both the 3PL portal and the client-side portal feel very simple to use and I found the implementation quick. The system has been reliable, smooth and I have seen it scale well as order volume and client count grow.

Cons

Customization is fairly limited. It covers all the standard WMS requirements but if you want to build custom enhancements, your options are either restricted or end up being expensive.

Using the period shortcut gets me to the menu really fast and I find it a nice time-saver.

Setting up filters can be a little confusing and the interface feels somewhat dated both visually and in how clearly each feature is explained.

What I appreciate most about it is how simple it is. The formats are easy to follow and they help me avoid making mistakes.

There honestly isn't much I dislike about it. The only downside that comes to mind is the out-of-country label process. We don't deal with those very often so it's not really a major issue.

At its price, this software delivers the features our company needs for inventory management and fulfillment and I have found it very capable. Training new users does not take much time which I see as a big advantage and the way it is built makes it both approachable and powerful. The filtering system is another standout feature since it lets us export just about any information we need for reporting.

Cons

I've heard from upper management that some controls and features aren't as extensive as those offered by comparable platforms. Even so, it's still the best fit for our company right now and I'd be happy to keep using it for many years to come.

After completing the training, I found using it becomes pretty easy.

Cons

It doesn't save information automatically so every time I need to use it, I end up spending extra time entering details like the shipping address and other information again.

Since we're not very tech-savvy, we were hoping for a more up-to-date platform. It just wasn't the right fit for us although we've heard a lot of positive things about it.

From the start, the service has been terrific. I'm not very technically inclined but they've been incredibly helpful, patiently guiding me through the whole process and explaining everything clearly. They really know what they're doing and I'd highly recommend them.

One of the biggest strengths here is the inventory management. The software lets you set up inventory reports using a wide range of criteria instead of forcing everything into a single unit of measure like some other programs do and I find that level of customization makes it much easier to pull the exact numbers needed for inventory control and reconciliation.

Cons

Ordering system does handle a broad range of inputs which is useful but it would be even better if orders could be customized by retailer. I realize that kind of setup would be hard to support for every retailer, yet having built-in options for major companies such as Amazon or Walmart would make a real difference by allowing orders to be separated out by retailer.

It is quick to use, simple to understand and built around a really smart concept which I genuinely enjoy using.

Only thing I'd change is simplifying the menu options. Other than that, nothing major stands out.
