Highly customizable but complex setup

Pros

Customization is where this platform really shines and I have not come across another option that offers this level of flexibility. It lets us shape the technology stack around both our own requirements and our clients' needs and I rarely run into situations where the system cannot handle something. The building-block approach makes it possible to create almost any business logic and I have seen how it helps automate a huge number of tasks. That has reduced overhead and allowed us to focus on higher-value work instead of manual data entry. If we want to modify incoming transactions like inbound POs or outbound orders, I can simply write and trigger the logic. If we need additional fields, I can add them as required. The API is excellent and I find Smart Documents especially useful since they remove the need for separate tools by allowing automated document creation using HTML and JavaScript. The GS1 label package is another strong feature, as I do not have to rely on external platforms to retrieve labels. The real-time dashboard is also excellent and highly customizable which I use frequently.

Cons

To really get the most out of this software, you will need a developer on staff who knows REST APIs and JavaScript. Without someone experienced, or at least willing to learn, implementation is going to be a challenge. If you don't have that resource internally, they do at least offer a team that can help get things configured and up and running. If I had to call out the weakest area, it would be the billing module. It took a lot of time, effort and caffeine to get it configured the way we needed. Since we're a 3PL and our billing logic varies by customer, we ended up writing highly customized logic to make it work. It feels a bit buggy and isn't especially simple and producing meaningful backup documentation was frustrating at first. It's not awful overall but it definitely requires some creativity. There are also a few smaller gaps in labor management especially around productivity reporting although we were able to work around those by adjusting reports or using our own internal web apps.

handy bulk packing slips

Pros

Being able to print packing slips in one go for multiple orders is really convenient and I find it saves a lot of time.

Cons

At the same time, I still can't print pick lists for multiple orders all at once which is a limitation.

user-friendly and clear platform

Pros

Using it feels very easy and I find the layout simple to understand without needing much effort to learn.

Cons

I'd really like to see reports exportable in more file formats. It would also help if I could add things like SKUs to certain reports.

good features but too slow

Pros

Compared with other systems we have looked at, this one is still a great option which is why I have continued using it even though performance can sometimes feel sluggish.

Cons

Biggest problem is the server speed. It really needs better server investment to improve processing and some of the slowdown may also come from inefficient code. Overall the system just runs too slowly.

Simple and flexible tool

Pros

From a customer perspective, using this product feels convenient and I find it has the flexibility and functionality needed to handle the tasks effectively.

Easy setup and good value

Fast vendor order processing

Pros

Vendors can place their orders directly and scan the paperwork into the system which saves a lot of time and I have seen how it simplifies the overall process.

Cons

Pulling up reports used to be pretty slow although that has improved over time.

Simple and easy to use

Pros

It is relatively simple to use and I am able to handle the important features on my own without much trouble.

Cons

The UI could definitely use some improvement and the inventory is hard to view all in one place. It would also help if shipping label quotes were available while creating the order, instead of having to make the order first, wait for an account rep to provide the quote and then go back to approve it. That adds unnecessary extra work. There are also quite a few features I don't use because they're not very simple.

Quick business alignment

Pros

Aligning this product with our existing business processes was quick and I found it worked really well from the start.

Simple and capable system

Pros

Using it has been very easy and I find that simplicity carries over to the customer experience as well. It also offers a wide range of functions which makes it a very capable tool for our needs.

Cons

We do run into some inventory-related issues that can be frustrating at times. I also wish it could handle a few additional things that just are not possible with it yet.
