Organizing an event with this turned out to be way more convenient than I expected for me. Getting the tickets set up took hardly any time and I was able to customize everything so it matched my branding. It covers the essential features too, like promo codes and seating options and the whole system works without creating extra hassle for me. For anyone organizing events, it's a really great option.
Cons
The part that bothered me was the added fees. I didn't expect the total at checkout to jump that much, especially when purchasing several tickets at once. That part comes across as a little sneaky.

At my previous job at a small to midsize business, we used it to manage branded event experiences and overall it worked well for that purpose for us. It offered pretty great customization options and we didn't run into any issues with payments or ticketing.
Cons
Navigation in the UI was a little frustrating because it wasn't very simple. I'd also say the reporting and analytics capabilities were fairly limited which made it harder to measure event performance or understand attendee engagement. On top of that, there were a few bugs that took quite a while to get fixed.

An event can be created and made live in just a few minutes for us which has been a big plus. The IT support team has also been responsive and effective and any quirks specific to our setup were addressed quickly or a workable solution was provided for us.
Cons
At times, a few issues, like the lack of synchronisation with Qflow, have been hard to troubleshoot. Some users also find the thumbnail image requirements a bit restrictive, since the 1200 x 800 size is very specific and can be difficult to prepare, especially for less experienced users.

Starting out with this was surprisingly easy for me, even though I'm not usually very confident with tools like this. The interface feels really simple, the functionality is excellent and the setup was quick for me. There are plenty of features to customize things to suit my needs or my audience's and whenever I got stuck on anything, the customer service team responded quickly and helped point me in the right direction for me.
Cons
It's honestly difficult to come up with many downsides but once booking fees are taken into account, there are a few slightly cheaper alternatives available.

Right from the beginning, the interface felt very easy and genuinely user-friendly for us, even when compared with some bigger, more established competitors. The development team has also been extremely supportive and willing to go the extra mile to customize the web shop around specific needs and requirements for us. On top of that, the staff are quick to respond, even if you're a smaller client.
Cons
If I had to point out one downside, it would be that the back-end reporting tools could be a bit more simple when reviewing sales across longer time periods. That said, this probably won't affect most clients much and it's fairly simple to work around by exporting the sales data into an Excel sheet.

One thing I really appreciate is how much we can tailor the event page to match our brand, while still showing multiple events together on a single page. It looks visual, clean and is simple for users to move around. Adding new events, making updates and managing bookings is also very easy for us which saves a lot of time.
Cons
There are still a few features we'd need before fully sticking with it long term. The biggest one is giving customers the option to pay what they want instead of choosing a fixed ticket price which has become much more important during Covid-19 as we run more online events. It would also help if users could instantly tell from the main page when an event is sold out. On top of that, we've had some formatting problems when copying and pasting text and edits to event descriptions can take a while to show up. A major downside compared with Eventbrite is the discoverability, since people can't really search for and book your events from anywhere in the world in the same way and that could soon matter a lot for growing our audience for virtual events.
