“a very admin friendly interface”
Pros
A big reason this worked well for us is how easy it is for our administrators to use.
Cons
Initial price is hard to justify and seems designed mainly to push customers toward the top-tier plan anytime they need an add-on.

“Worksite check-in helper”
Pros
Worksite entry and exit logging have become much easier with this app. It handles the job nicely and keeps reliable records of who comes and goes.
Cons
It would be better if the system sent account email reminders directly to the user's email.

“flexible configuration options”
Pros
Launching from nothing caused no issues whatsoever and the interface is uncomplicated to manage. It additionally gives you extensive room to personalise the design exactly how you want it.
Cons
Stronger paid alternatives are available if you're specifically comparing these features. However, I don't really have anything I dislike about the software.

“effortless attendance and visitor tracking”
Pros
Keeping tabs on who's coming into the office is really made easy and it's been useful for handling visitors back when that was more common, while also helping prevent the office from getting too crowded during a risky time. Marking yourself as present and attending takes under 30 seconds and the whole process is simple to follow.
Cons
In terms of improvements, one thing that could be better is the number of clicks it takes just to get into the platform. Since my company has several office locations, Envoy should really remember the office I regularly sign into instead of making me select it over and over.

“clean and feature rich interface”
Pros
Early impressions of the interface were very positive, with a clean feel and plenty of useful functions. The design features are a real pleasure to use and the slideshow background is a particularly memorable detail.
Cons
Starting up, the cost is the only real downside. It's a premium product and while it's very well designed and simple to use, the cost definitely reflects that.

“Locate your packages easily!”
Pros
Functionality across the board was excellent with Envoy and the stamped date and time on each incoming item provided total clarity without any guesswork involved.
Cons
Looking across the whole experience, there isn't anything I dislike about the software.

“No help or support available”
Pros
I still haven't actually been able to use the app because I've spent the last couple of hours just trying to get registered.
Cons
Getting started has been a mess. The mobile app opens with "Let's Get Started" whether you already have an account or not, then asks for an email and takes around 90 seconds to respond even on a fast phone. After that it says the email was found, I scan the code and I'm in. But the first time I tried to sign in, my company hadn't linked me to the app yet. Going through nearly the same login flow ended up creating a personal account that I never meant to make. Later, once my company finally added me to Envoy, it looked like my email was tied to two different Envoy accounts. Now when I sign in, I can see things like the company logo and full name but it still seems to be that personal account I accidentally created because no actual workplace resources show up, like rooms or anything else. Then I tried to delete the account. I went through a confusing set of menus, profile, company dropdown, then manage accounts. I can see my name and email there, select it and delete it but it just sends me back to the "Let's Get Started" page. When I sign in again, the exact same problem comes back. I also tried contacting support but since it was Saturday, there was no help available at all. Apparently no one is available on weekends so now I have to wait until Monday. That's especially frustrating because Monday is the day I'm trying to book office space and company policy requires using Envoy in order to work from the office.

“An essential tool for remote work”
Pros
Working remotely, this has been an extremely valuable tool for me. It lets me stay on top of my in-office experience even when I'm not there which has been really helpful.
Cons
Operating the software is generally smooth but periodically I find myself wanting a few more options.

“helpful support and features”
Pros
To be completely honest, this software has been manageable and it comes with a strong range of features. The customer support team is helpful as well and they seem genuinely open to improving the product and adding new features based on customer needs. The desktop admin portal is another part of the software that has been especially useful.
Cons
Familiarity is the key to getting good performance out of the app but the first few times using it, tasks like scheduling, self-certifying and signing in can feel a little clunky. We often have to walk people through those steps at the beginning. After doing it a couple of times though, they usually have no problem with it.

“every guest is fully recorded”
Pros
At a company where every visitor has to check in, we needed a reliable way to monitor and manage the process and Envoy handled everything we were looking for.
Cons
During our vendor comparison, we observed that Envoy's pricing runs slightly higher, depending on the features included in their plans.

“Slack alerts are super useful for guests”
Pros
Guest sign-in is quick and it prints a nametag right away. It also lets us collect signed waivers or other forms from visitors which is really useful. The Slack integration is a nice bonus too since it alerts us as soon as a guest arrives.
Cons
Printer connectivity used to falter now and then though that's gotten noticeably better recently

“busy offices need this to stay on track”
Pros
Day long use in a bustling office with meetings around the clock shows the platform to be very navigable and high-performing. It meshes nicely with our hourly pace and never lets us down.
Cons
From a user perspective an issue that really needs attention is the Sign Off button, it's unbelievably small. Visitors can barely spot it so they often end up trying to sign in all over again and pretty much everyone complains about it.

“health checks done right”
Pros
With COVID still lingering through new variants and spikes, having a dependable health check process remains very important for our associates and visitors. We've had an onsite RN supporting us since March 2020 and he genuinely values Envoy. Since making Envoy part of our daily routine, it has helped reduce anxiety for both employees and guests. The system is simple to learn and use and the standout feature is the bot. If the bot can't resolve a question, we're quickly connected to a live person which makes a huge difference. A lot of other safety and security platforms can take 24 to 48 hours to respond so that level of support really matters. The multilingual kiosk has also been very successful and we'd love to see even more language options added, such as Vietnamese.
Cons
Throughout my experience a confusing issue is in the sidebar, when we go into Protect and try to confirm "employees expected," it redirects to Visitors instead. That has caused a lot of confusion for executives, managers and others. The dashboard's "Employee Registration" tab should be visible only to Global Access Administrators and no one else. Also, Settings is currently located under the Visitor tab and it really should have its own separate tab.

“Crowd pleasing check in tool”
Pros
History log and visitor sign-in functionalities have served us very well. A lot of guests are clearly impressed by Envoy and often share their appreciation out loud.
Cons
Nothing negative to report at this point. I do have one idea though and if the software already supports this, feel free to disregard it. We can already invite visitors before they arrive through Envoy but as a Senior Maintenance/Facilities associate, I also need to make sure contractors and vendors review Danfoss safety documentation before entering the facility. I'd love to have an all-in-one invite that can be customized for this purpose. The code of conduct is already covered during sign-in, along with COVID-related items but new contractors or visitors also need to review Danfoss shop floor safety and our environmental policy. I need to retain documentation showing they completed this for audit purposes. Right now, they review it on site in a PowerPoint and I'd prefer to send that material ahead of time as part of a single comprehensive invite.

“works every time”
Pros
Simplicity marked our first use and that ease has persisted alongside great dependability. The support group are also very responsive and useful whenever we call on them.
Cons
Frankly, I can't think of anything that would make the software better.

“security meets tracking”
Pros
Our initial use of Envoy focused on managing visitors and vendors and it handled badge printing really well. Once Covid hit, they introduced Protect which expanded how we use it quite a bit. Now we track employees along with visitors and vendors all in Envoy. Employees can answer health screening questions from the app on their phones and reserve a spot to come into work, while visitors and vendors are still added manually. The one thing missing is integration with our touchless temperature screening device. If that synced with Envoy, it would be exactly what we need.
Cons
Like I mentioned earlier, my biggest wish is for Envoy to connect with our touchless temperature screening system. I'd also really like Protect to include a small checkbox beside each person's name so we could mark when their temperature has been taken. Having that information recorded directly in Envoy would make the process much more complete.

“Safety logs that are dpendable!”
Pros
Biometric authentication makes bringing people into the office feel significantly more secure. Order and shipment tracking perform very capably and the badge printing integrations are a major advantage for visitor management. The system is reliable, secure and retains past records which reduces the need to re-enter duplicate information repeatedly.
Cons
Rather than being overloaded, the software keeps things minimal and that works in its favor That said, printing glitches do pop up sometimes and they can slow down the entry process when things need to move quickly.

“Integrations feel professional”
Pros
Getting everything integrated was fairly easy. It's an excellent feature to have and comes across as very professional.

“friendly UI”
Pros
Tidy, easy-to-navigate interface makes the platform highly accessible and we benefit from fast processing speeds and an interface tailored to match our specific needs effectively.
Cons
By and large, the system has operated without any notable failures although the server does go down occasionally and the fact that data is stored abroad can be a concern.
