helpful property data hub

Pros

Clean interface and easy to use and it does a nice job of keeping project information organized in one place. The aerial imagery, parcel data and property details are all genuinely helpful during estimating and preconstruction. I also appreciated being able to pull up what I needed quickly instead of bouncing between several different websites.

Cons

One thing that holds it back is that the data is not always as up to date or as detailed as I would prefer especially in fast growing areas. I'd also like stronger integration with estimating and project management tools, plus more flexibility in reporting and export options. On top of that performance can sometimes lag when larger datasets are loading.

accurate property takeoffs

Pros

Getting property takeoffs done with this is quick and accurate and the platform is very simple to use. It also offers plenty of takeoff options which makes it flexible for different property needs.

Cons

Would like to see is a street view option. It would be really helpful to drop down into a closer street level view of the property when needed.

transparent workflow for field teams

Pros

Has been really helpful for keeping everything transparent between customers, admin and staff especially for lawn care, landscaping and snow service work.

Cons

Pricing feels like it could be better for what's currently offered. It would also be nice to see more integrations and stronger API functionality included.

excellent project control

Pros

It has been a really worthwhile software choice for us. It offers strong value for the money, the system is easy to use and the project management features have been very helpful in keeping work organized.

Cons

At this point, I really don't have any complaints. After going through a training class, it was quite simple to use and handle takeoffs.

Useful filters

Pros

Being able to sort property views by different angles and time periods is probably the most useful part for me. Filtering by years and months gives us some helpful background on each property or project I'm working on.

Cons

Text boxes with backgrounds don't rotate very well and the white background often ends up looking distorted. The exported image quality could also be better. I'd also love to resize text boxes by clicking and dragging the corner instead of having to scroll over and adjust a slider.

top notch support

Pros

Genuinely hard to narrow it down to just one standout feature because the platform delivers well in so many areas. The editing tools are strong, the aerial imagery is high quality and they keep improving the product with regular quality of life updates and new features. Customer support has been excellent too. When I send in maps for measurements, they usually come back by the next day and the results are very accurate. On top of that the pricing is very competitive compared to other options out there.

Cons

Some small bugs that still need to be worked out which seems to come with how often they release new features. That's pretty normal when updates are being pushed live and they do seem to go back and clean things up afterward. For example, one export option has some layering problems but it only really matters in specific situations. Their other export option works perfectly so it's not a major issue. I've also had cases where I add an image to a project, reload it later and the image is gone so I have to upload it again. There are a couple of other minor issues along those lines but nothing major and I expect they'll get sorted out over time.

Huge time saver when it comes to taking measurements

Pros

Using the software is very easy and it saves me a lot of time when I need to do measurements. It also makes project management more efficient since I can highlight the work area and clearly show the crew where they need to focus.

Cons

I really don't have any complaints about it. The only thing I'd like to see added is a feature that lets me rotate the property into the exact frame I want.

PropertyIntel review

Pros

Turnaround time on PropertyIntel Complete orders has been excellent. I usually have the results by the next day and that fits perfectly with my 2 day deadline for putting together maintenance bids.

Cons

The self service side could be better when I need to do measurements on my own. It feels a bit awkward and takes more time than I'd like so some additional training might help me use it more efficiently.

stellar support team

Pros

Getting started was simple and the customer service has been excellent. All of our previous takeoffs were uploaded into the system without any issues.

Cons

Every now and then, downloading screenshots can be a little glitchy but they let you know they're working on a fix and then it goes back to working properly.

flexible mapping and photo tools

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is being able to add extra photos. I do not use that feature very often since I focus more on the 2D and 3D design side but it is still nice to have. It is also helpful that I can create new area names and zoom in very close to the ground. The map information gets updated well too.

Cons

There is a glitch in certain parts of the map where I cannot view or access the address. I have tried opening the location at different times but it still will not load. It would be helpful to have a way to report or share that information or if that feature already exists, please let me know.

remote project control

Pros

This software feels like having an extra team member without the added payroll. It lets me gather information on current and potential job sites without ever needing to leave the office which saves a lot of time. I really enjoy using this program and it gives me solid control over my projects from beginning to end.

Cons

Picking up any new system can be a bit challenging especially when the schedule is already packed but this platform offers plenty of videos that help walk me through the learning process.

professional maps that customers appreciate

Pros

Maps look very professional. The phasing and color coding features are especially useful and both my customers and my crews really respond well to them.

Cons

It is expensive. Compared with some other options I've used before, the monthly cost is quite a bit higher and as a smaller business I really wish it were a little more affordable.

planning made simple

Pros

Easy to use. The symbols are easy to understand and it's quick to pull up a property map and put together a plan. Good choice for simple work

Cons

Interface feels a bit cheap. I wouldn't rely on it for estimating anything major for landscape installation but it works perfectly well for large maintenance properties.

helpful cloud workflow

Pros

Working in it has been very user friendly overall. The system gets updated often and the team is really easy to work with. The cloud version is especially useful when several people are working in the platform at the same time. It keeps project management much more organized when everything connects the way it should. It also helps us get estimates out to customers faster which has supported turning more sales.

Cons

A few features still need some adjustment. When launching a property from Aspire, it pulls the default catalog but when launching from PropertyIntel, it pulls the catalog created by our company. That really should be fixed so it automatically pulls the company catalog when launched.

Packed with features

Pros

Right away, the accuracy and overall usability stood out. There's a lot this platform can do that I still haven't explored yet and every time I come across another feature, I end up appreciating it even more.

Cons

Proposal section could be improved. It would help if editing were a bit more user friendly so I could match it more closely to how my proposals usually look.

powerful support

Pros

Using Pi Complete has made getting base measurements really simple and I rely on it for nearly all of my Property Maintenance quotes. Between PI Complete and Property, I've been able to support 4 business developers and 6 branch locations with almost all of the maintenance estimates we produce.

Cons

Needs better control over project sections. I'd like a way to lock default sections and takeoffs so other users in the system can't change them.

frustrating perimeter editing limits

Pros

Being able to move projects over from iPave into the new system is helpful and the map quality and overall viewing are good.

Cons

I'm still getting used to the platform but one frustrating part is that you can't fix perimeter outlines once you've marked an area. You have to delete it and start over instead. I also wish you could click on a selected area and immediately see the square footage like you could in iPave. I noticed the square footage does appear in small print sometimes but not consistently. Another thing missing compared to iPave is the ability to change color schemes and apply them to other titles.

Simple to use

Pros

Coming from years of using PropertyIntel, the transition felt pretty natural after a short adjustment period. The software is simple to use and the accurate measurements and takeoffs it delivers are what really make it valuable.

Cons

After spending so many years with the old version, it did take a little time to adjust to the new system.
