“simple check in tool that works for us”
Pros
Getting people checked in and out is quick and the whole system is simple to manage and maintain on a daily basis.
Cons
The labels are fairly expensive and it would be even better if a future version of the app could work without needing them.

“fantastic visitor management features”
Pros
Connecting this with other software has been really easy. The messaging tools for visitors, hosts and display screens work very well and the pre registration option is especially useful when handling larger visitor groups. The setup process is also clear and simple to work through.
Cons
A limitation is that we still can't connect it to our Bluetooth visitor access system which would help reduce the need to hand out physical visitor passes. It would also be helpful if pre registering returning visitors who have already checked in through facial recognition was possible.

“efficient QR sign ins”
Pros
The QR code sign in for existing users works really well and the organisational branding is a nice touch. The administration side is also easy to use which makes managing everything much more convenient.
Cons
Wish they provided face to face support when help is needed. It's also frustrating that printers seem to need replacing or upgrading after only a few years of use.

“quick installation”
Pros
Getting this up and running didnt take long and it integrated well with our existing setup.
Cons
One challenge we've run into is how restricted the customization feels when trying to adapt the product to our needs. For instance, we can't make entering an email address mandatory during the booking process. If that were possible, every visitor could automatically receive a fast track code to use when they arrive.

“handy setup with local support”
Pros
Setting it up was quick and using it didn't take much effort. It's also very user friendly day to day and having a locally supported product is a real advantage.
Cons
An ongoing issue is that some visitors get rejected because they don't scroll down and complete the COVID related questions. That ends up causing frustration for them and creates delays once they arrive for their meetings.

“didnt work well for us”
Pros
The fields are simple to move through, it feels simple to use for new users and responses can be recorded fast and pulled up through different interfaces like email and the website.
Cons
The bigger issue came down to how it was managed on our side. Our admins couldn't stay on top of the incoming responses and over time that made the tool basically useless for us. If all you need is a CYA tool though, it does seem to cover that purpose.

“clean layout”
Pros
Using it feels simple and the screen layout is very clear and easy to follow.
Cons
It would be a lot better with facial recognition or fingerprint sign in instead of having to enter an email or phone number every time. The system also logs out too quickly and when I clock in at 7:00 AM and leave at 5:00 PM, it doesn't seem to recognize that I'm still in the building.

“constant printing failures”
Pros
When it's working properly, it does meet our compliance requirements.
Cons
We keep running into ongoing problems because it doesn't always print the ID and the program doesn't consistently communicate with the printer. Whenever an ID fails to print, we end up having to reboot the iPad, the program and the printer to get it working again.

“my experience with Sine”
Pros
Having badge printing connected within the system, along with the ability to use it across multiple devices, has been really helpful.
Cons
Different invites and passes don't seem to connect well with each other and there are quite a few screens to sort through. I also wish the check in questions had more customization especially for linking questions together or using different formats. On top of that printing badges from the computer to the recommended Brother printer has been difficult.

“simple to use”
Pros
Getting started is quick and the app is simple to use. Having online inductions handled electronically instead of on paper is really convenient and the 12 month validity is a big plus.

“amazing support team”
Pros
On top of covering everything we need, the customer support has been fantastic. They're always available when we need help and really know what they're doing.
Cons
Something that could be improved is the delivery email notification. At the moment, it can't be customized and adding a message such as "a parcel has been delivered for you at reception" would come across much more professionally.

“reliable performance that I can count on”
Pros
No software glitches at all. It runs smoothly and the display looks presentable.
Cons
The reports aren't customizable which is a big downside. There's also no standalone option to insert notes. They can only be added to entries that have already been made. Another missing feature is the ability to use it on Windows as a KIOSK which would be highly desirable for any company. On top of that it doesn't sync updates properly between devices so signing in on an iPad doesn't update on the phone and vice versa.

“user friendly visitor check ins”
Pros
Across our three office locations, we've been using Sine for the last six months as our visitor management system and it has been a really user friendly experience from an end user perspective. It handles the core tasks well, from checking in new visitors to notifying the host and printing badges. One feature that has been especially useful is facial recognition which lets returning visitors sign in much faster.
Cons
After moving away from a very manual, paper based process, we've been extremely pleased with the efficiency this system has brought. At this point, we haven't run into any user related issues.

“Smart geofencing function”
Pros
Setting this up on stands around the library has been very easy. Because it runs on iPads, we can place the units wherever the Wi Fi reaches without much trouble. The image display can be customised which is useful and the app itself is simple to work with. The geo fencing feature is also a big plus since it automatically checks customers out once they move too far away from the library.
Cons
It would really help to have a field for customers who do not have a mobile phone number especially since many older library users still do not use mobiles. It would also be useful to customise a default check out time, as plenty of customers are fine with checking in but then forget to check out. One possible workaround could be prompting them with a "how long will you be in the library" question and offering a few set options. It would also be helpful if the numeric keypad could appear on the iPad for returning customers so entering a mobile or home phone number is quicker. I should also mention that a lot of library customers do not want to download the app which is unfortunate.
