“fast rollout”

Pros

Right from the beginning, the implementation moved quickly and went really well. It has been a big help for our team especially for clocking in and out and the geofencing feature has been really useful. Time tracking has worked out very well for us and the system is simple to use and easy to train others on.

Cons

The only issues we've come across are minor things we've already been told can be improved or are planned for future updates.

It wasnt difficult because the language used during setup was simple and the instructions were clear which made the whole implementation process go really well.

I didn't run into any real issues because everything was explained so clearly. Even when there was a problem with the map barrier, it was resolved quickly.

Getting set up and started through Teams has been excellent and having support available to answer questions in person has been really helpful.

Using this app has been really easy. Signing in is simple, the face recognition works reliably and it makes tracking staff attendance, setting shifts and managing payroll hours fast and efficient.

One thing I'd love to see is the option to customise the clock in greeting. As a Maori based workplace, it would be nice if it could say "Kia ora."

“efficient payroll process”

Pros

Since switching to TimeCloud, our payroll process has become much more efficient. The job costing reports are detailed and having the app available for staff to clock in and out anytime has completely removed the need for manual timesheet entry. We now have much better visibility into employee hours and the reporting has helped us stay on top of lateness as well. It has significantly cut down the admin time we used to spend processing payroll.

Cons

Even during implementation, the support team was fantastic and helped us work through any issues quickly. Honestly, I haven't run into any real downsides.

Their team has been pleasant to work with and helpful at every stage. It delivers the services we needed which made it a good fit for our requirements.

Cons

The date settings don't stay saved and that ends up being time consuming and could also lead to errors when downloading information.

The Time & Attendance setup is really easy and it also includes options to set shift limits for staff hours. Pulling total hours for each employee is quick and very simple as well.

Cons

Something that could be improved is how sick time, annual leave and similar allocations are handled since the system automatically adds hours instead of leaving them unchanged.

Payroll has become much more efficient since I can view and export reports using employee attendance and time tracking data.

From the start this has been very simple to use. The layout and user interface are excellent especially compared with other timesheet software we've tried and the ability to customize it for the Australian payroll environment is a big plus.

As our business continues to grow, we may eventually need additional functionality to better match our changing needs. Hopefully, they add more features in the near future.

“Fantastic support that helped us onboard”

Pros

Having real, personal support nowadays is rare so working with Taylor C. was a huge plus. They fully resolved the issue we were dealing with and honestly prevented us from switching to another provider.

Cons

The iPad problem never got fully fixed although I do appreciate that they came up with a workaround. It would have been much better to use the iPad for clocking staff in and out but it kept causing issues consistently.

“Clear setup”

Pros

Right away, you can tell its a practical choice for day to day use as staff can get started with very little training and there's much less need to rely on spreadsheets. It also gives you direct control over pay setups and rules, including wage rates, shift loadings, allowances and overtime thresholds. That makes it much easier to manage award updates yourself and keep everything compliant within the system.

Cons

A few limitations still come up around rounding for start times. It would also be helpful if the platform included more personal staff details and reminders, such as birthdays, work anniversaries and training reminders.

Time tracking has made job costing and payroll much more manageable. Our company used to rely on a very manual process to track time by job, along with old fashioned time cards and Timecloud has completely changed that.

At times updates interfere with the accounting system we use which ends up creating extra costs since our IT department has to step in and fix it.

Pros

It handles time tracking accurately and the leave application and monitoring features work really well. Team managers use it to keep track of staff leave and approve timesheets before payroll is processed which makes the whole workflow much more efficient.

Cons

There really is not much to complain about. The only issue we ran into was not being able to clearly see when leave had been approved but their team addressed that by adding a roster tab.

Pros

Using Timecloud has been really positive experience for us because the system is user friendly and flexible. One of the biggest benefits is that staff can access it on their mobile phones while on the shop floor which saves a lot of time.

Cons

Since it is cloud based it's definitely convenient to use. That said, the downside with any cloud system is the long term reliance on an external platform especially since IT systems keep changing over time.

Facial recognition scanning makes clocking in and out fast and convenient for employees.

Cons

The rostering features and similar tools aren't useful for us since we don't need that part of the system.

Entering staff details is easy and the app works reliably most of the time.

It would be better if sick days and annual leave could be added with a single click.

“A huge time saver”

Pros

Keeping track of clock ins and clock outs with this app has been much more efficient and we no longer have to rely on manual time records. The CSV export at the end makes payroll uploads really simple which has helped us speed up the whole payroll process as our team continues to grow. On top of that their customer service has been very reliable. Whenever something came up, they were able to resolve it quickly.

Cons

Biometric scanner works well overall but there have been times when it missed someone clocking in or out even though they actually did. It looks like a system upgrade has improved that since we do not notice it nearly as often now but it is still something worth keeping an eye on.

It's very easy for both me and the staff to use.

Cons

One thing to watch is the thumbprint scanner plate, if it isn't cleaned regularly, it can stop reading some people's fingerprints properly.

Once everything is set up, it is pretty easy to use and it has really helped cut down on timesheet misuse.

Getting the Palmer scanner configured wasn't very simple for some employees and a few staff members have had trouble with the fingerprint scanner.

This app has helped us organize weekly payroll for staff especially when splitting wages across different cost codes.

We've run into a few system bugs from time to time but once I let my contact know, they were fixed fairly quickly.
