Tracks lifecycle of assets

Pros

I like how it tracks the complete lifecycle of assets, that's probably its strongest feature. Being able to see when something is nearing the end of its useful life and needs replacement has been valuable for our planning.

Cons

What bothers me is having everything crammed into one database. It gets overwhelming and the system needs way too much upkeep. Plus there's a real lack of proper documentation or training materials to help you figure things out.

great for enterprise visibility

Pros

It gives me one central place to handle all company assets with complete control and visibility. The enterprise-level features are particularly great. I get detailed asset histories, user authentication controls and can easily track any changes made. What I love most is how it's digitized everything, cutting down on paperwork and organizing approval processes. The holistic view of inventory and asset movement across complex systems has been a game-changer for managing our enterprise operations.

Cons

The biggest challenge is that you need your data to be absolutely spot-on before implementation which means having proper asset classifications and location tracking already sorted out. The naming conventions and labeling have to be consistent across the board or you'll run into confusion later. Also setting up user permissions and approval workflows can get pretty complex especially when you're dealing with asset transfers between departments.
