Cons
The parts system feels quite long-winded to use, unless I'm handling it the wrong way. We're currently using Xero instead because it's faster and simpler. Some help with this would be appreciated. Also, we don't seem to have phone support although that may be related to the package cost.

Pros
Having everything handled in one place makes a big difference, jobs, notes, customer records and the rest are all together. The real-time updates are really useful and the diary feature helps keep everything current and organized.
Cons
A few of the processes feel a bit longer than they need to be and I'd really like invoices and customer details to sync automatically with my accounting software.

Pros
It has been a really positive experience. The training was excellent and gave us the confidence to understand how everything worked properly. When we were moved over to the new system, even though it felt very different at first, they made sure we were fully trained again on all the updates and changes. The new version is a huge improvement so we're really pleased with it. We use most of the features every day, including setting up customers, sending service reminders, creating invoices and completing certificates. We've also recently started using the MailChimp integration which lets us send marketing emails to our full customer base and that's been making a real difference to our customer service.
Cons
Because there are so many features, it can feel a little overwhelming at times. That said support is always just an email away so help is there whenever we need it.

“Professional and highly adaptable”
Pros
The professional feel of the software really stands out and I appreciate how much it can be tailored to fit the way my business works in most areas. It saves me a lot of office time especially with emails and reminders which helps keep everything organised and the business running efficiently.
Cons
Some of the certificates can feel a little overcomplicated at times and getting around the software can occasionally take longer than I'd like. That said I'd say I still haven't had the time to properly learn the system inside out and I'm probably only using around 60% of what it's actually capable of.

Pros
Running a business from one system is a big advantage, whether the company is large or small. The software is clearly built for trade professionals, with a very wide range of features and regular updates. It also helps that the Commusoft team genuinely listens to customer feedback and is open to suggestions and new ideas. Because it's such a complete package, there is naturally a lot to learn. The training can look expensive at first but after going through it, the value makes sense because there is so much functionality and so many ways to tailor the system to fit your business. One of the reps was fantastic when walking us through the features and even where some parts were more complex, she stayed patient and thorough which helped us get the most out of the training. The support is also excellent, they reply quickly by phone or email and make sure every question is properly resolved.
Cons
The pricing for both the software packages and the training means you really need to be confident it's the right fit for your company before committing. That said once you complete the training, the cost is easier to justify because you can see why it's priced that way. In the end, it's very much a case of getting what you pay for since this is a highly tailored piece of software.

“Massive boost from automation”

After just over three months with Commusoft, it's hard to believe how much it has changed the way I run my business. I genuinely couldn't imagine going back to spreadsheets now. The automation alone saves us hours every single day. The training was absolutely five-star and really went above and beyond to make sure we were getting the most out of the system especially since there are so many features available. I'm not particularly confident with computers but even I was able to get comfortable with the software within a few days. Our customers have been happy with it too especially the job reports, custom certificates and the ability to stay updated on job progress without constantly calling engineers. It even sends customers a report to let them know the engineer is on the way. On top of that, the Commusoft team keeps improving the platform with regular updates and new features.
Cons
Honestly I haven't come across any real downsides so far. If I had to be picky, it would be having to clear the cache about once a week which we sometimes forget to do. Even that only seems to happen because the Commusoft team is regularly rolling out new features so to me that's more of a bonus than a genuine issue.

The biggest plus is how user-friendly it feels, along with the huge range of features we still haven't even fully explored. It really seems like everything has been considered and being able to use it so well from a tablet or mobile device is a major advantage for our business.
Cons
At times it can feel a bit more complicated than expected although that does come with the benefit of having a very thorough workflow. The image handling also isn't ideal when trying to set up headers and footers.

Once you've been through the training and learned how everything works, the software offers really impressive functionality. The person who led our training clearly knew the system inside out, was patient the whole way through and helped us build workflows that actually fit how our business operates. We especially appreciate how simple the diary page is to use, how much detail can be recorded against both customers and jobs and how simple it is for our engineers to work with day to day. It's also reassuring to see regular improvements and new features being added. On top of that, the customer support has been better than with any other company we deal with, responses are quick and the team really knows the software well.
Cons
The QuickBooks Online integration still isn't completely smooth and we've run into a few problems with information not transferring properly between the systems although Commusoft is investigating it. A few of the training webinars could also use re-recording. The service reminders session is very good but some of the others suffer from echo and audio passing back and forth between speakers which makes them less polished.

At first, the software takes a bit of adjusting to because the interface is quite different from what you might expect. That said the customer service is outstanding so there's really no reason to worry. No matter how long it takes, their main priority is making sure you get the most out of the software.
Cons
The user interface feels different at the beginning but that becomes much less of an issue because the customer support is so strong. Once you start to understand the workflow, it becomes clear how each part of the software is meant to be used.

From the first customer enquiry right through to invoicing, Commusoft lets me keep control of every part of the business without any hassle. What really puts it ahead of the competition, though, is the customer support and the depth of industry-specific knowledge the Commusoft team brings. It's hard to imagine how I ran things before using it. The platform is also always evolving and improving and whenever I think of a feature I'd love to have, it usually turns out they've already considered it and are already working on it.

Pros
Back in 2014, I chose it and the older version already worked well for me but I was really waiting for the updated platform. Once I got everything set up and started using it, work felt exciting again. It's user-friendly, packed with useful functionality and constantly improving with ongoing updates and excellent support. I can handle the admin side of my business far better now and I feel much more in control day to day. As an electrician and gas engineer, it gives me everything I need to manage the job side and the business side together and I honestly wouldn't look elsewhere.
Cons
Nothing specific comes to mind, to be honest. The software has been consistently solid and the support has been excellent as well.

Pros
The reporting tools have been really strong and the way messages get pushed through to mobile devices works very well. I've also been enjoying the overall look and feel of the new platform.
Cons
There isn't really a major downside but it does take quite a bit of learning to get the most out of the product. We've had to invest time in understanding best practices to use it properly and get the best results.

This latest version adds plenty of useful functionality and gives us much better visibility across every part of our jobs and invoicing. It looks like it will really help us stay on top of workflow, monitor engineer performance and handle invoicing more effectively. We're still uncovering everything it can do which says a lot about how much has been added.
Cons
the information columns don't have a wrap text option which means some of them end up wider than they really need to be. It's only a minor issue but it would be really nice to see that adjusted in a future update. Thanks!

Right from the start the flexibility of this software has stood out because it covers pretty much every area we need as a business and gives us room to grow and improve. The Xero integration has been particularly impressive, making invoicing and payments much more simple and even linking customers was simple to set up. The whole system is very user-friendly and with the help manager available throughout, I can usually find the guidance I need without any trouble. Having everything together in one place is going to be a huge advantage and the more I use the system, the more I can see how much it will help the business reach its full potential. One of the main reasons I chose this software was to remove as much admin pressure as possible from the Director so he can spend more time on jobs and growing the company and I genuinely believe this system will help us do exactly that. I am not especially experienced with software packages but I have been genuinely impressed by how quickly I have been able to pick up the basics. I can already imagine that, in time, we will wonder how we managed without it. Everything is clearly accessible and the layout is clean, well organised and pleasant to look at. We have also seen more estimates being accepted since introducing the software, as it gives customers more confidence in us because of how professionally everything is presented through Commusoft. The reporting tools are another really valuable feature and one of the parts of the software I enjoy using most. Overall I am extremely impressed with Commusoft and very glad I chose it.
Cons
At this stage, it is genuinely difficult to point to anything I dislike about the software, as I have not personally run into any negatives so far.

“Everything finally clicks together”
Pros
Everyone is now working from the same playbook and it has brought structure to every part of our operation. Jobs no longer slip through the cracks or get forgotten which has made a big difference day to day. It's also much simpler to stay on top of customer records and payments and money is coming in much faster now which has really helped our cash flow.
Cons
The biggest hurdle was getting everyone trained and comfortable with it although that's true with any big change. At first, it can look a bit intimidating because it does so much but once you spend some time with it, you quickly get the hang of it and before long it feels very natural to use.
