all-in-one lifesaver

Pros

SingleOps has been a lifesaver for our company. It includes everything we need to keep the business running without issues.

Cons

Honestly the only downside that comes to mind is having to start over with a new program, lol.

training helped

Pros

The training from the team has been excellent and whenever issues come up, their support side responds very quickly.

Cons

Their partnership with ProPay has been a downside and they really need to look for a different payment processor.

Thorough training

Pros

Right from the start, the team was excellent about answering all of our questions and the training they provided was really thorough and helpful.

Cons

what we'd still like changed is that all sales reps can currently see each other's jobs. It would be better if they couldn't open or view other reps' sales.

Super positive experience

Pros

Using this tool has been a really positive experience. The platform is user-friendly, the customer service is phenomenal and the customization options let us tailor the program to fit our needs really well. Our customer service liaison and the team have been absolutely outstanding throughout the process. She is patient, kind, knowledgeable, resourceful and always available whenever I need help.

Cons

the learning curve felt pretty steep for employees who aren't very comfortable using computer programs for estimates.

automation tools help

Pros

One of the best parts is how much flexibility it gives me when tracking items and putting together bids in different ways. The automation tools are a very close second and add a lot of value to the overall experience.

Cons

The only real downside is that there's no offline support which becomes a problem when I'm in areas with weak or limited cell service.

Scales with our growth

Pros

SingleOps brings a lot of strong functionality to the table and has helped us in many of the areas we expected, plus a few we hadn't even considered. As our business expanded, our old processes were no longer keeping up and this has really addressed those challenges. It's not just meeting our current needs either.. it's clear the platform can continue to support us through the next several stages of growth.

Cons

There was a bit of a learning curve at the beginning and some parts didn't feel especially simple right away.

automation that keeps us on track

Pros

Right away the system felt very simple to use. The automation features have been especially helpful since they send reminders to customers about their free estimates and overdue invoices. Creating estimates in SingleOps is simple and scheduling jobs is just as convenient.

Cons

Tree inventory and tree plotting functionality is missing

Payment delays and weak support

Pros

It seemed like a really good product at the beginning. There is definitely a learning curve when using it with QuickBooks and if you plan to use their payment portal with Pro Pay, make sure you fully understand the fees tied to it. That said it does offer some very useful features for staying in touch with customers throughout a project and in day-to-day operations.

Cons

Customer support has been terrible. When any issue comes up, you end up digging through a lot of help articles and trying to figure it out on your own. If your customers are paying through SingleOps using Pro Pay and there is a problem with receiving funds, be prepared for a long wait. Our company was on day five without any resolution just trying to get our money released so we could keep the business running. The only responses were a chain of emails from a company that clearly does not have enough staff to handle problems properly. That is a serious concern for anyone running a business. Make sure you do your homework and fully understand how this software works especially when it comes to collecting payments from clients.

Slick look, disappointing overall

Pros

The interface has a polished, modern look and I initially expected that to be a plus for sales.

Cons

Beyond that pretty much everything else has been a letdown especially the company behind it.

helpful navigation and solid info management

Pros

Navigating SingleOps feels simple and it does a reliable job of keeping all the essential information we need organized and accessible.

Cons

Route planning still needs a lot of improvement and the mobile app tends to lag quite a bit sometimes not saving data when the phone screen turns off.

Consistent features

Pros

We've been working with SingleOps for the past couple of years and it's been very user-friendly. It comes with strong features and the customer support has also been consistently helpful.

Cons

The mobile app can be a bit glitchy from time to time. A few times throughout the day, it will suddenly show a white screen and I have to close the app to clear it.

Smart workflows and coordination

Pros

Right away, SingleOps felt different from other platforms. The interface is exceptionally well designed and the way it brings departments and tasks together is hard to match. A lot of other systems bury everything under extra layers and constantly force you to hit "save" before you can move on but that hasn't been the case here. The color coding is helpful, the templates cover almost every type of communication we need and the whole setup feels very simple. We were also able to choose the areas that mattered most to our company and build around those priorities through a simple integration process.

Cons

Honestly it's not the lowest-cost option but that wasn't the deciding factor for us. We were focused on getting quality rather than cutting corners especially when it comes to running our business and maintaining the level of service we want to deliver from beginning to end.

all-in-one workflow win

Pros

Having everything in one system has been a huge plus for us. We can build a proposal out in the field, send it to customers right away, use the built-in CRM and then pass that same information along to the field crew so the job gets completed exactly the way it was presented to the customer. Before this, we had to move details from one system into two others which led to mistakes and missing information. With this setup, the process feels much more connected and everyone is working from the same information from beginning to end.

Cons

A few added calendar features would make it even better especially recurring tasks and appointments. Text notifications also are not automated the way emails are and I really wish that functionality were included. I'd also like to see more personalization options in the routing software so routing can happen more the way we need it to. That said it still works overall and we've been able to find ways to make it fit what we want.

Helpful mapping for tree estimates

Pros

The overall functionality has been really solid and being able to tag trees and use the map feature on each estimate is especially useful. It makes a big difference when working on large properties with a lot of trees.

Cons

One issue I still run into is that the servers can be unreliable at times and randomly kick me out of the program. It has improved compared to before but I've still lost plenty of work because the software suddenly stopped working.
