H2X Features
CIBSE-Verified Calculations
H2X calculates heating, water, and duct systems with standards-aligned methods. Verification gives engineers confidence in results and reduces manual rework, supporting compliant designs and faster sign-off.
Revit Export Synchronization
Designs transfer from H2X to Autodesk Revit without redrawing. Synchronization preserves sizing and layout, keeping BIM models consistent with calculations and cutting drafting time.
AutoCAD Export Workflow
Projects export directly to AutoCAD, so drawings and calculation outputs move into established CAD workflows. This helps mixed teams collaborate while avoiding duplicate effort.
Heat-Load Report Generation
Generate detailed, room-by-room heat-load reports that explain assumptions and results. These exports support client communication and help justify equipment selections.
Training and Resources (H2X University)
Structured courses and quick modules help new users learn the app and underlying methods. Built-in training improves onboarding and promotes consistent use of H2X features across teams.

“precise for complex work”
Pros
H2X is both efficient and precise. The team has done a fantastic job simplifying a subject that's normally very complex into a simple tool.
Cons
There's very little to dislike about H2X. I have a couple of small suggestions that could make it even faster but overall it's excellent software.

“Replaces tedious manual work”
Pros
It makes designing hydraulic systems from scratch so much easier. It completely replaces the tedious old methods of spreadsheets and manual calculations, making the whole process efficient for both designers and anyone reviewing the work.
Cons
It would be even more valuable for designers if it could handle additional systems like sewer pits and pumps.
