“Unified platform”

Pros

Back when we relied only on spreadsheets to keep tabs on our freight, things were much harder to manage. Switching to this TMS was absolutely worth it because now everything we need is in one place. Setting up integrations with outside tools like load boards and factoring services was pretty easy and being able to start without signing a long-term contract was a major plus for us.

Cons

There is a short learning period and it can take a couple of weeks for everyone to get comfortable with the platform. After that though, it really feels like you have a much more powerful system behind you.

“Versatile modular TMS”

Pros

What stands out most to me about Marblehead Consulting Group (MCG) is how modern and forward-thinking this transportation management platform feels. It is a sophisticated third-generation TMS built on a microservices architecture which makes it different from older single-server systems and allows modules to be introduced in phases based on each client's priorities. I like how it combines a feature-rich standard setup with plenty of room for customization.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind right away. Any time I've brought a new requirement to the team they've stepped up quickly and delivered a solution in a very short time.

“Centralized operational control”

Pros

Bringing everything together in one place is what makes this platform stand out to me. It connects different parts of the operation through more than 250 integrations, including dispatching, billing, tracking, accounting, safety, maintenance and more. The team is also very open to feedback and new ideas and they are willing to adjust things based on our needs. Customer support has been excellent too, with fast responses, good knowledge and a real interest in helping us succeed.

Cons

Not much to complain about. Since the platform includes so many features, it can take new users a little while to discover everything it offers but once you get familiar with it the effort pays off.
