Pros

I see a lot of potential in the design and usability of the software. The interface looks great to be honest.

Cons

We keep running into issues with the dispatch map. It lags quite a bit and wastes a lot of time. They go forward with updating the software without testing it first causing breakdowns. It seems like the system only gets fixed after we raise the issue and even then the fixes are not done quickly.

The go to platform for waste management

Pros

The user interface is simple for the drivers to use and I love that theres customization available for various billing systems. The support service is very professional and the amount of data it gathers is impressive. It also offers route optimization through Easy Route and the ability to export route data to other apps. Plus automatic picture uploads when needed make things even more convenient. All in all it is a great software!

Cons

The default reports just dont meet our needs. Theres extra cost if you want custom reports.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of pricing plans does Routeware offer?

Routeware offers a custom pricing structure for businesses with diverse requirements. Contact us for a tailored Routeware cost quotation.

Can I manage customer payments through Elements?

Yes, you can. Our self-service capabilities include an online payments feature and integration. Enabling online payments offers a convenient way for customers to pay and helps you capture revenue quickly, efficiently and cost effectively.

Why should I move to Routeware Elements?

Elements is a great choice for waste haulers looking for all-in-one waste management software. Our solution offers a robust and reliable software platform covering back-office operations, billing and payments, in-cab technology and customer self-service, so you won’t find yourself with numerous isolated IT systems.

How will we get a return on investment (ROI) from Routeware SmartCity?

The savings organizations make by digitizing their routes massively outweigh the cost. Each truck can do more work, go-backs and customer service admin fall away, and increased income from chargeable services can also add to the payback. We have a calculator that can quantify these savings for your organization. Using an integrated waste management solution like SmartCity strips away so many of the inefficiencies plaguing municipalities today, such as customer complaints, go-backs, driver dissatisfaction, and recycling contamination.

What's the most common environmental fleet management system for municipalities?

Routewate SmartCity has been used by over 150 cities across North America to transform their solid waste, street sweeping, and snow removal operations.

Can Routeware migrate data from my current billing software?

We can. Routeware has lots of experience of transitioning customers from alternative trash billing systems. Our professional service teams have processes and tools set up to make the migration of your data smooth and seamless.

Is my data secure with Routeware?

Absolutely. Cybersecurity is one of our top priorities. We have invested heavily in secure cloud platforms, best practice processes, and specialist partner services to ensure that our customer solutions are as protected as possible from incident or attack.

How do drivers feel about introducing in-cab technology?

While some drivers may have initial concerns about being spied on, once up and running with waste truck in-cab technology, most see their in-cab computer as a tool they wouldn’t want to be without. There are many reasons for this, but increased autonomy and fewer arguments about what happened at a stop are two of the big ones, increasing driver satisfaction and safety.
