“Drivers access permits anytime needed
Pros
It is easy to use and full of helpful tools. I handle dozens of permits every day so it is really convenient to upload them here as drivers can access permits and other documents anytime they need. That's stopped the late-night calls from drivers looking for paperwork.
Cons
At this point I have not found anything about it that bothers me and if I run into issues later on I will update my review.

“Quick permits with easy dispatch
Pros
Since we switched to Truckbase, it's become much easier and faster to get permits and info to drivers and escorts. If an issue comes up, a quick call or email takes care of it. Overall it's been well worth the time and money. Reviewing past and future dispatch jobs is now easy too. Plus learning the platform only took a short walkthrough and a bit of practice
Cons
The only two issues I ran into were fixed right away after one call to the team. With their prompt follow-up this system is superior to the ones we used before.

“decent start but support is bad
Pros
I like how easy it is to copy loads and manage equipment. When I first contacted support they were helpful but using the help desk now feels like a lot of waiting. They have offered hopeful fixes but the wait time is still quite long.
Cons
As an owner-operator, I am finding the platform is not really built for businesses like mine as it feels designed for company drivers. I have made it work but it takes extra steps. For example I have to add the fuel surcharge and accessorial fees manually to every load. The fuel card integration only works partially as it does not include the card fee and I cannot add it to the transaction which defeats the purpose of automation. Reporting is weak too. I have used McLeod before and still prefer it as it offers a more complete solution especially for lease owner-operators which this system lacks. A few weeks ago, they pushed a fix for factoring but since then, my invoices have been less complete so I turned factoring off entirely. Still invoices print a blank line saying payment should be sent to� The driver app is also terrible as some of my drivers have stopped using it and just rely on the text link instead.

“outstanding support with quick details
Pros
Honestly I have had such a great experience working with the Truckbase team as they're a real pleasure to deal with. Their customer service and support have been outstanding and I can always find all the load details quickly for dispatchers, drivers and our administrative staff.
Cons
Because our company focuses on specialized hauling we are running into trouble when trying to filter out duplicate commodity listings which makes sorting loads more challenging than it should be.

“easy dispatching with direct messaging
Pros
Dispatching orders to drivers and seeing their jobs makes collecting uploads from them easy and reliable. I also like that I can message a driver directly when I need a specific file.
Cons
The AI sometimes misses important details for dispatching. There are also issues with drivers incorrectly marking loads as in transit or delivered. I also wish drivers had a better way to send feedback or communicate with us.

“Simpler workflow with a helpful team
Pros
Truckbase has genuinely simplified our daily workflow and made things a lot less stressful. Overall iti is really easy to use and I feel it's absolutely worth the investment. On top of that we can easily monitor drivers and their assigned loads. Vlad and his team are consistently helpful whenever we run into problems.
Cons
From an admin standpoint I don't find it as easy to use on a phone as I'd like. Meanwhile it appears that most of our drivers already have the app mastered and use it without issue.

“invaluable dispatch with GPS tracking
Pros
We've found Truckbase to be an invaluable part of our dispatch workflow. It significantly reduces time spent on paperwork and is incredibly easy to use, with a minor learning curve. Also the platform makes driver dispatch and fleet management much simpler and I appreciate being able to track shipments and deliveries via GPS from the very start to the final delivery. Their customer support has been top-notch and consistently responsive.
Cons
At this time I have no complaints at all and on the rare occasions when bugs or other issues have arisen they have been addressed and resolved very quickly by their support team.

Pros
It's pretty easy to use and really simple to move around. Also I've found plenty of settings to customize it to my preferences.
Cons
Occasionally it has small glitches though nothing severe. However I noticed it displays to drivers which broker is assigned to the current load.

Pros
At The Force Transport we really like how easy it is to keep freight organized. Handling paperwork is much simpler too and generating invoices is faster which saves us time.
Cons
Despite this tool adding a notification tab it still does not push alerts to my devices. So I'd love it if the platform could send real-time push notifications to both the website when I'm logged in and to the mobile app on my phone.

“Backend support with GPS integration
Pros
The product is really easy to use and its backend support team genuinely cares. Whenever we run into problems, they jump in and fix things. The way it ties into GPS, electronic logs and QuickBooks also makes using it a pleasant and efficient experience overall.
Cons
I am having issues with settlements but we are working on them. Also I need an easy way to pay both drivers and owner-operators from the same load without extra steps. I have been told that feature should be available sometime in Q2.

“Industry focus with quick fixes
Pros
Since Truckbase focuses only on heavy haul, it's a big advantage for us as they really know the industry and build features that fit. Drivers appreciate being able to see what�s ahead on their routes. On the landing page, I can view everything about their loads, required documents and upcoming runs. That clarity has improved communication and drivers really value it. When we need help, they respond very quickly and fix any small issues fast without causing major downtime.
Cons
We have not come across any real drawbacks because it consistently answers our inquiries and fulfills our requests promptly so there has not been anything negative to report yet.

“AI load confirmation game changer
Pros
My team would absolutely recommend Truckbase! It's made dispatching so much easier. I was skeptical at first as I thought the AI load confirmation would make a lot of mistakes and I'd end up doing things manually. But we went ahead with the EDI integration and it turned out to be a game changer. We no longer track shipments by hand as the system uploads delivery proofs directly to customer portals. Also having dispatch and billing in one app is great. We can pull up BOLs in seconds whenever a customer or broker asks. It also has excellent support as Vlad has been quick to help every time I've had questions.
Cons
I'd like a messaging center just for drivers so I can message them individually or send group updates. I was told the team is already working on it.

“easy orders with simple training
Pros
Honestly it's incredibly easy to use. Entering and updating orders is also easy to follow. Also it is really simple to train others on and to tweak for our specific needs.
Cons
My main issue is that completed orders stay on the boards forever. I'd prefer they automatically disappear once they reach a certain stage like when an order is ready for invoicing, it should be removed from the dispatch board. That would keep the view cleaner and easier to manage.

“AI reads PDFs and saves time
Pros
When I first contacted TruckBase, everyone was super friendly and quick to respond. Their product stood out because it's easy to use, offers great value and has an AI tool that reads PDFs. I save a lot of time as I no longer have to type in all the details from rate confirmations manually. If a document does not import correctly, I can send it to support and they'll train the system to handle it. Also the team is proactive about fixing issues and keeping customers happy. They also let us know about updates or any bugs that might cause delays. It also regularly checks in to make sure we are satisfied. It feels like the platform can do so much. As a small carrier with under 20 drivers mostly owner-operators it's been especially valuable.
Cons
I wish the AI PDF importer could be used from my phone or iPad. Because having it available on handheld devices would make it much easier to use while I'm on the road.

“Simple workflow saves surprising time
Pros
We found the system simple, easy to fold into our daily workflows and it genuinely cuts down on our workload. My first takeaway proved accurate. Plus it is user friendly without being complex and as a smaller asset-based carrier, it's saved us a surprising amount of time!
Cons
Well I'd like the driver app to prompt drivers to take a photo of the freight at every stop instead of leaving it open-ended and hoping they remember.

I'm genuinely impressed with how user-friendly the interface is. Their customer support team genuinely ranks above the rest, hands down without question.
Cons
Because of how I use it downloading large amounts of data can be slow though I have noticed it's getting better over time. This slowdown is related to my specific usage and with recent integrations, I should not need to pull such large datasets anymore.

Pros
The biggest plus is their customer care and their clear focus on hauling equipment especially oversized loads in the trucking industry. Overall it really feels like the platform was built with businesses like ours in mind.
Cons
I have not found any dislikes so far as they're still developing and are open to suggestions to improve their TMS which I consider a significant advantage.

Truckbase is really user friendly compared with bulkier TMS solutions. It cut down the time I spend on core dispatch tasks and made it easy to keep tabs on loads, drivers and paperwork all in one spot.
Cons
Overall the platform is easy to use but I ran into a few features that felt too limited for our specific workflow. One change I'd really like is to split trucks and trailers into separate tabs like how drivers and dispatchers are already separated. Right now, they are all in one list which makes it harder and slower to find and manage equipment. Separating them would make navigation much easier and the whole system more organized and user-friendly.

We have found the program incredibly user-friendly and we have completely eliminated paper dispatch sheets. Plus it modernized our dispatch operations and brought them into the 21st century.
Cons
I had been using an older program before it that was free so starting to pay for a replacement is a hard pill to swallow. I mean it's difficult to accept paying for something after relying on a no-cost option for so long.

It is very user-friendly, with responsive and helpful support and management actually listens and acts on practical feature requests.
Cons
In my experience there are limited integrations although it keeps adding more like the recent fuel hookup with Wex/EFS. The pricing is steep too and they don't offer monthly or even quarterly billing options.
