“self-hosted with free storage”
Pros
I used to run the self hosted option with CrashPlan and loved not having to pay extra for cloud storage. That was a sweet setup while it lasted.
Cons
Back when I first signed up there weren't many choices out there. And even then all I could really do was back up files and folders. Nothing fancy.

“server support dropped and useless”
Pros
This product has gone completely downhill over the last few years. The moment they stopped supporting their server products it became useless for any real business. I wouldn't trust it now.
Cons
After the company made some recent changes I can't back up my servers anymore. Now I'm stuck hunting for a completely different product to replace them.
