Having one highly secure place for confidential strategic presentations has been a big advantage. It makes executive meeting prep much easier with offline document access on tablets, private annotation features and detailed permission controls.

Its interface feels quite plain and inflexible which is a stark contrast to the creative, colorful cosmetics world. For marketing teams used to newer collaborative platforms, the navigation can come across as somewhat austere.

Pros

Preparing our monthly board meeting packets with confidential financial documents is much more manageable with it. Instead of sending multiple email attachments for every file, I can build the full board package in one central place and just drag and drop the documents where they need to go. That setup has made it a lot simpler for senior leadership and board members to find and access everything they need before the discussion.

Cons

The platform has a lot of functionality but the interface can feel a little overloaded when you're trying to locate a setting or a document for the first time. I've also run into quite a bit of lag when uploading large financial PDFs or when making several quick updates to the board book right before a meeting.

it didn't require any training at all. The layout is simple and moving around the product feels very simple and user-friendly.

Cons

There are a few small quirks when creating links inside an agenda package and the questionnaire feature feels somewhat limited in what it can do.

Getting documents exported is simple and the platform keeps communication and meeting management between board members secure. Sharing agendas across the board is also very convenient and it doesn't take long to get comfortable using it.

The only thing I'd point out is that the AI still doesn't predict the agenda but aside from that, everything else has been good.

“Wonderful AI meeting minutes feature”

Pros

Honestly the AI meeting minutes feature actually works which is surprising since most tools like this barely do anything useful. Being able to reuse an entire agenda from last month's meeting and just update the date is also a big plus. I was concerned my iPhone might crash in the middle of a vote but that hasn't happened at all. On top of that, whenever I've needed help, support has been dependable and I've usually been able to reach someone by phone.

Cons

Trying to get this system to connect with all of our other applications has been a nightmare. It's also frustrating that the auto-numbering function for agendas still doesn't work. Another ongoing headache is dealing with the board member who refuses to turn on two-factor authentication because it makes resolving their access issues much more difficult.

It has become the place I rely on for putting together and distributing board books, organizing the agenda and keeping all meeting-related documents in one central spot. It's now a regular part of my workflow to upload materials and refresh the board books close to meeting time which helps directors access the information they need both before the meeting and while it's happening.

Cons

Some parts of the interface do feel a bit dated and a few features especially Search, take some time to learn and use comfortably. I also run into occasional lag during busy times of the day when I'm trying to make a lot of quick updates at once.

Running our board meetings through this tool has made the whole process a lot more manageable, from putting materials together to collecting approvals and signatures. The best part is being able to update and share board books quickly, even right before a meeting. It saves me a lot of time since I don't need to repost an entire packet every time a single document changes and everything stays current and well organized for the board.

At times the interface feels a little outdated and the navigation could be better especially when I'm trying to jump back and forth between sections or look through older documents. Some of our less tech-savvy directors also need occasional reminders on how to access or sign materials and that can slow things down.

The cost can feel a little high if you only use the platform in a limited way but there are plenty of training opportunities available that help you explore everything it has to offer and get the most out of the subscription.

Having everything related to board service gathered in one place has been really helpful. It keeps archive documents, current materials and other resources organized and accessible without having to look in multiple places.

There are no real drawbacks. The platform was simple to pick up and works well as a single hub for everything. My only regret is not knowing about Diligent back when I was serving as a non-profit President because I definitely would have used it then.

A few of our users may feel that the initial setup and onboarding take quite a bit of time. On top of that, occasional system updates can temporarily impact usability and there are times when viewing videos or the quality of graphics in Word documents can be problematic.

Using it on my Samsung tablet has been frustrating because a software bug keeps the app from working. I was told they're working on a fix but nothing has been resolved yet. Since I travel for our meetings and depend a lot on my tablet, that's been a real problem.
