Scheduling limitations with calendar issues

Pros

Personally, I appreciate that it lets our appointments be shown publicly while we can still arrange sessions internally and tweak our availability. I also value that it syncs with my Google Calendar and supports offering several services. We rely on this tool every day and enjoy how simple it is to use.

Cons

I've found it frustrating that assigning certain days to a single service isn't possible and I see the Google Calendar sync is unreliable, requiring frequent reconnections.

Efficient scheduling

Pros

comprehensive client management software

Pros

As a business owner, I've been using this tool for six years now. I turn to this app every single day to keep my appointments, client records, locations and my income and expenses lined up. On a logistical level, this software has helped me arrange my clients in the most organized way possible especially since many clients are scattered across different cities and in some cases even in other countries and time zones. Having this one tool has made it much easier for me to manage my time, juggle client needs and track earnings, all of which simplifies scheduling life and appointments from one centralized place.

Cons

Managing appointment durations could be smarter and I often spend extra time manually entering hours for clients instead of having the app automatically calculate income based on hourly rates.

simple integrations for business management

Buggy software with frustrating support

In my day-to-day use, the website loads quickly and the summaries are easy for me to understand. I also like that the platform is usually available whenever I log in so I can rely on it when I need it.

Easy demo booking and conferencing

Pros

While exploring MyPrivate Family Office, I noticed that potential clients can book an online demo with just one click which makes scheduling very convenient. I've also used the built-in Teleport Conferencing feature several times and it has worked perfectly for me. I haven't had any connection issues or technical problems so far.

Cons

Honestly there isn't anything that comes to mind as a drawback and I'm comfortable recommending it wholeheartedly and without hesitation.

free plan to start services

Pros

Using the free account has actually given me everything I needed to get my service started. I was able to begin working right away without having to pay for a subscription which I really appreciated.

Cons

Limitations of reports and API

Pros

Getting started with the system went smoothly from the beginning, as long as my payment processor worked with it. I was able to create services and adjust the setup to match my business needs without running into complications. I like that I can manage things such as time off, add breaks, edit appointments manually and keep track of income. There's also the option to use the API if I want to extend things with a custom backend. Another thing I appreciated is how the app manages time zone differences. Overall it has been a very positive experience for me.

Cons

On the downside, the free plan caps class size at 50 seats which is restrictive. I've been told the Pro tier removes that cap but I haven't tried the upgrade myself to confirm. Another annoyance is that payment reports only list a customer's name, if someone signs up with a common first name like 'John' and there are several Johns in my roster, it takes extra time to figure out which payment belongs to which person so I end up doing a lot of cross-checking. It would be much more useful if reports included another identifier such as an email address or a customer ID. Regarding the API, searching clients by name assumes you already have a local name database to reference, I get that pulling every customer could be a heavy payload but offering paginated retrieval or some way to fetch all customers incrementally would make integrations far easier. Finally, I noticed time zone handling only applies at appointment creation, recurring reminders seem to default to the clerk's time zone instead of the original appointment zone.

Limited payment options and automation

Pros

Over time, I've really started enjoying working with this tool. Whenever I have a question, the team responds quickly and the system itself stays simple which is great for startups that just need something dependable. I often recommend it to early-stage teams for that reason. What impresses me the most is the Google Calendar sync. When I add an appointment and move to the next step, it shows up in my Google Calendar almost instantly. I can also set it so events from my personal Google Calendar automatically block those times on the scheduler on my website which helps me avoid double bookings. I still really enjoy using it and plan to continue with it.

Cons

Biggest drawback is the limited payment options. There are too few ways to accept payments, only credit cards are permitted, even though payments are processed through Stripe. Since Stripe supports many global payment methods, it feels like a missed opportunity that those alternatives aren't exposed in this tool. On top of that, I would really like the ability to set up automatic follow-ups and similar automation but those features aren't available here which is a bit frustrating.

Free scheduling software with helpful support

Pros

As part of our team, we use this scheduling platform to arrange psychology sessions and I've found it very easy to work with. The fact that it's free is a big advantage and the technical support has always been quick and helpful when we needed assistance. I also use it as a personal planner for classes and other appointments. Overall the app feels very practical for my daily routine and I would definitely recommend it.

restrictive booking controls

Pros

What stood out to me right away was how easy the system is to learn. The setup didn't take long and my customers also find it simple to move around and book appointments without confusion.

Cons

Honestly I find it frustrating that there isn't a feature letting me decide how far in advance a customer can book and I also can't configure booking hours differently for each day or week, the system only allows one set time per day. On top of that, there's no way for me to manually override the booking logic when I don't have hours showing as open which leaves me unable to block or adjust bookings during special closures or exceptions.

Simple software for easy scheduling

Pros

One thing that has helped me a lot is that my students and I no longer have to exchange multiple emails just to find a time that works for both of us. The system handles scheduling in a much easier way.

Cons

Great tool but I have a number of appointments that are only thirty minutes long and sometimes students need to book me on the half-hour mark but the system won't give them that scheduling option which is frustrating.

Customizable scheduling software for clients

Pros

Scheduling clients and keeping my calendar organized is super simple. I also appreciate that I can personalize almost everything, even the 'color' for each service. My clients say it's really feasible for them to create and change appointments, too.

Cons

Only thing that bugs me is that the 'automated' reminder texts don't forward any replies to me. I always tell people the number the reminder comes from isn't monitored and I even type 'do not reply, contact (my number) to reschedule.' Still, a lot of clients miss that and have canceled appointments by replying to the reminder and I never got their cancellation. It's not a major problem though!

Powerful scheduling

Pros

What I really appreciate is how simple and adaptable this tool is. Running a large campus tutoring center meant we needed something feasible to coordinate a huge staff and the hundreds of courses in our catalog. It was fast to set up, feasible for staff to learn and their support team responds within minutes whenever questions pop up. I honestly didn't expect such top-notch help at a price our budget could handle yet this product went well beyond what we hoped for!

Cons

Platform can feel a bit too basic at times. It would make a big difference to have a visible search bar for users or collapsible/drop-down tabs to hide services because we list so many options that navigating can become overwhelming.

Clear availability and scheduling policies

simple booking tool

Pros

My clients and I find booking and using it really feasible. I've depended on this platform throughout running my Thai massage practice and the automatic email reminders are super helpful!

Cons

I'd like to be able to open just single days for bookings instead of having to make that day available every week forever. That flexibility would really help when I need to add extra appointments. Please allow setting availability day-by-day or week-by-week for those times I have extra openings.

Time zone issues affecting scheduling

Pros

The reminder emails were something I really appreciated because they helped me stay on top of my schedule. I could also connect my appointments with Google Calendar without any trouble. Another feature I liked was being able to create different types of appointments and adjust them whenever I needed.

Cons

One issue I ran into was struggling to view times across different time zones and my clients did too which sometimes led them to book the wrong zone and ultimately made it unusable for me.

Reliable scheduling software for daily work

Pros

installing and using the tool didn't take much effort. It covers all the features I need for my daily work. I've actually been using it as my clinical diary for about four years now. Every once in a while I run into a small issue but when that happens the chat support team replies quickly and helps me sort it out.

Cons

there aren't many real negatives for me though one thing I'd like added is the ability to have a visible record or audit trail that clearly shows when an appointment has been cancelled.

What I like most is how easy it was for me to learn. It also includes online booking and even offers a free option which makes it very practical.

Cons

Unfortunately, it doesn't allow partial payments up front so I can't require split payments. I also can't set certain services to be available only on specific days or times. There's no way for me to add add-ons to services.

Free booking software with integrations

Pros

I help manage support for a small charity that only needs to reserve a hall a few times each week. I was able to adjust the free version of this tool to match our needs and connect it with Squareup so we can accept payments for bookings. None of the other booking platforms I checked had that kind of connection available in their free plan. Getting everything ready didn't take much effort. Our users like being able to make their own bookings and they usually find the interface easy to work with. One feature I really value is exporting booking records into a spreadsheet so I can include them in the hall's accounts without needing extra accounting software. I also like the free one-way calendar sync that shows available booking times directly on our website.

Cons

Working out whether every booking has actually been paid can be tough. It would be feasible if I insisted on card prepayment for all reservations since that makes reconciliation simpler. Because I allow payment by invoice though, there isn't a built-in, easy way to mark a booking as settled. My current workaround is to edit the booking's label and include a reference to the invoice number which is clumsy and feels like a makeshift solution rather than a proper feature.

Limited staff permissions and refund risks

Pros

Over the past couple of years I've used this tool as a business client and have stuck with it. The booking system works well overall, it does miss a few features and can glitch from time to time but it's great for day-to-day use. Customer support has been excellent whenever I need assistance, they're easy to reach, friendly and knowledgeable. All things considered, I'm pleased to continue using this booking platform for my business even though there are plenty of alternatives available.

Cons

There should be more granularity in the permissions we can assign to staff, receptionists and similar roles. At the moment, for example, when I give someone the ability to view all calendars they automatically also gain the power to cancel appointments and process refunds which makes me uncomfortable. Mistakes happen, it's all too easy to mistype a refund amount (for example by adding an extra zero) and there doesn't appear to be any way to reverse or fix that error. Refunds are pushed through extremely quickly so any accidental over-refund is immediate, leaving me worried about the potential financial impact and the lack of safeguards.

Pros

The price is excellent, I consider it very fair for how easily I can connect all my accounts through this app. It's simple to operate and I personally think the interface is clear and easy to grasp.

Cons

It is great that how easy it is for my clients to access, the fact that it's free and the clean, feasible design. What really stands out to me is the option that automatically sends a review prompt after each visit.

Cons

When I block out time I find it frustrating that the scheduler requires minutes rather than hours, for example, to reserve five hours I have to enter 300 minutes.

Confusing deposits and poor support

Pros

Unfortunately I've had no positive experiences with this platform. My clients and I have only run into problems with the booking features and the customer support team. Having used four different online booking systems before, this one stands out as having the poorest booking functionality and the weakest customer-service resolutions I've found. I'm not blaming the front-line support staff, rather, it's whoever's overseeing internal communication and decision-making who seems at fault.

Cons

The deposit shows up to my clients as a 'discount.' I spent more than 10 hours on calls with customer service trying to figure out a way for clients to secure appointments with a card without the deposit appearing as a discount that confuses them. They told me the engineering team was working on adding a cancellation fee so I wouldn't have to rely on the current deposit workaround that misleads clients. When I pressed for an expected timeline, they said they couldn't provide one but promised to message me in a week with an update. I waited for that follow-up. A week later I received a message that essentially repeated the earlier response, the technical team still couldn't give a date. Eventually I had to beg for a refund, even after explaining that this tool caused me to do more receptionist tasks than if I had booked my clients manually. Please fix how deposits are presented and be upfront about if and when fixes, implementations and resolution steps will happen. I initially signed up because of the deposit feature but the bugs created more work for me than if I had never subscribed. I have since received a refund yet I still can't understand why I had to wait so long for answers and why I had to beg to get any resolution.

Quick and easy scheduling setup

I've really liked the calendar syncing and the support team has been great and responsive.

All in one booking and deposits

Pros

This tool is incredibly feasible. Everything I need to schedule appointments and collect deposits is handled in this single platform. The booking page looks neat and is simple for people to navigate.

Cons

As a professional, I would love for it to include invoicing, clearer financial reporting and marketing tools.

Team friendly scheduling and calendar sync

Pros

I really appreciate being able to plan and organize a client call, mapping out the agenda and structure and then have my virtual assistant or anyone else on my team jump into the platform to forward meeting links and set up business profiles for us. On top of that, I sync and block out time with other apps like Google Calendar and those blocked slots carry over reliably so when clients try to schedule an appointment it clearly shows I'm not available.

Cons

While the mobile app doesn't feel quite as smooth or responsive as the web version, beyond that I don't have many complaints about the tool. I appreciate how the software ties into a wide range of payment providers, virtual meeting platforms and phone systems which really gives me and other users flexible, reliable ways to connect with our clients.

Modern scheduling replacing manual booking

Pros

Using this tool, I no longer have to depend on old-fashioned scheduling methods like back-and-forth phone calls or never-ending email chains. I can set my availability, sync it with my Google Calendar and securely accept payments through a feasible, easy-to-navigate app as well.

Cons

I'd love for the process of booking recurring time slots to be made simpler and more convenient.

Self service appointment scheduling

Pros

What I appreciate is that I don't need to keep reminding people about their appointments since they can schedule them on their own.

Cons

It is hard to modify appointment slots because they lack flexibility, for instance, I want the ability to define the exact times when people are allowed to book appointments.

Integrated scheduling with reminders

Pros

One of the things I really like is how it syncs with my team's Google calendars so we don't accidentally double-book sessions and clients find the interface super simple to use. The automatic email and SMS reminders are a huge help. Having the option to offer both virtual and in-person meetings is vital for the programs I run. We used to connect this platform with Zoom and have since switched to Google Meet for our video calls and it handled both integrations without much trouble. I also appreciate that it automatically prompts clients to leave reviews which makes gathering feedback from participants feasible and much less time-consuming.

Cons

Great platform but I do wish the system offered more flexibility for tailoring the booking experience especially when it comes to adding custom questions for clients during scheduling. For instance, we need a way to include a custom appointment location field, ideally a dropdown menu so our clients can select from several program sites. Right now, managing multiple locations feels clunky without that option.

Free booking tool for consultants

Pros

Every day I rely on this app to manage my IT consulting practice as a one-person operation, the free tier meets my needs perfectly. It allowed me to add a booking page to both my website and my mobile app which has made scheduling far easier and aligned how clients book time with me.

Cons

Honestly I can't think of a single feature of this tool that bothers me.
