Supportive customer service

Pros

I discovered the application to be remarkably easy to use and whenever problems arose the customer support team responded helpfully and guided me through solutions.

Cons

Although I ran into a persistent issue that no solution could resolve, I managed to identify and use an alternate workaround that allowed us to continue operating without a full fix.

Reliable tool

Pros

When I submit our payroll on a Monday, it is almost always returned to me the next day, meaning that payroll is delivered promptly and reliably.

Cons

While I can handle most operations, there are specific tasks I still don't understand how to perform and I think the Evolution site could be made a bit more user-friendly.

Ease of use stands out

Pros

I find the program easy to operate and it allows me to verify whether and exactly when my payroll has been processed while its reporting features are thorough and enable me to produce specialized reports whenever I need them.

Cons

At times I must wait for responses which I realize is partly because the representatives are often tied up, yet when I have pressing questions it feels as though those delays might imperil meeting our payroll processing deadlines. lately, however I have managed to communicate with my representative by e-mail and found that interaction useful. Additionally I have twice been sent a state withholding tax error notice by the state and since there does not appear to be a clear resolution or explanation yet, I am left feeling quite uneasy.

I could not find a single aspect of Asure Payroll that I liked because the entire platform failed to meet my needs and left me feeling frustrated.

Cons

My attempts to get a timely response were consistently unsuccessful, they seldom got back to me quickly and I came across numerous mistakes and inaccuracies in their work.

Fantastic support

Pros

Submitting payroll is very easy for us and whenever questions arise our representative, Page, replies almost instantly with clarifications while Corey routinely follows up and remains reachable should any problems develop.

Cons

Honestly I can't think of much to criticize, as a compact office that previously managed payroll internally and could easily make updates whenever necessary, we now find it fantastic to have Assure handle those tasks for us although responses to tax-related questions sometimes take a bit longer than responses about routine payroll matters but on the whole everything functions satisfactorily.

Rapid replies, bumpy rollout

Pros

I like that inquiries receive responses relatively rapidly which helps keep workflows moving without unnecessary delay.

Cons

In my experience the rollout of the solution come across several hiccups and unforeseen complications so the implementation phase proceeded less smoothly than I had anticipated and caused avoidable frustration.

Terrible software

Pros

The only time they are responsive is the beginning of your contract.

Cons

No stars. We used this company to file our ERC credit and I was told we could pay $10k up front for them filing or could pay for their services for a year at $500 a month. Seemed like a no brainer. I SPECIFICALLY asked when and how to cancel and was told by the person filing for me as long as I did it before the year was up I was good. My only mistake in this is that yes I didn't read the 30 page contract (won't make that mistake again). Apparently, I needed to send in writing 60 days prior to my year ending, now I am renewed for an entire year and have to pay $500 a month again. Now I see why it seemed like such a good deal because this is where they got me. My services emended July 31st and I emailed June 27th. It also took them 3 weeks to even respond back to me (July 11th I heard back). Early termination fee is also just paying it all up front. I DO NOT recommend this company, they are crooks and they know that they are, taking advantage of small personally owned businesses.

What's particularly noteworthy is their teamwork approach, if our assigned representative isn't available, there's always someone else ready to step in and assist. Moreover they're incredibly supportive when it comes to handling special payrolls, such as year end bonuses or any unexpected payroll needs. Their responsiveness is particularly impressive when immediate assistance is required. Overall Asure's customer support sets a high standard, making them a reliable partner for our payroll needs.

Cons

I genuinely have no complaints about Asure. Despite being approached numerous times by other payroll providers and convincing us to switch, I remain loyal to Asure because we've had nothing but positive experiences with them since they became our payroll provider. Their reliability and service have been consistently excellent, and that's why we continue to trust them with our payroll needs.
