“smooth and effective solution
Pros
The platform is simple to use from start to finish and it actually delivered results by bringing in several strong candidates. Because of that we were able to fill the open roles we had efficiently and with great hires. It proved itself not just as a tool but as a real solution.
Cons
I appreciated that their service performed exactly as promised. My only problem is that the subscription fees kept accruing even during periods when we weren't actively hiring.

Pros
I love how it simplifies our whole hiring workflow. We can blast job postings to multiple boards in just a couple of clicks and let the AI sift through resumes which cuts down an enormous amount of time and manual sorting. Support is responsive and actually helpful when we've had questions. Since switching from only posting on Indeed, we've noticed significant cost savings and far fewer wasted ad dollars.
Cons
It is quite difficult for teams that have not used a system like this before so initially we had to spend some time getting everyone up to speed. That said after the first few hires the interface and features are smooth and it genuinely speeds up and improves our hiring process once you're comfortable with it.

Pros
AvaHR actually works. We've been able to hire far more quickly and at a much lower cost since we started using it. Before AvaHR I was spending hundreds of dollars handling recruitment myself so this has saved us both time and money.
Cons
We did experience any difficulty at the beginning but the AvaHR team was very responsive and guided us through the setup. They got us up and running with minimal downtime so we weren't left waiting.

It is an excellent tool as it is genuinely simple to use, reliably quick and it truly makes recruiting feel easy. I am a big fan of how the job postings can be tailored , they're incredibly simple to set up. Another thing I appreciate is being able to blast those job ads to several channels at once with a single click.
Cons
There are not many negatives about AvaHR that bother me but one irritant is how often the platform prompts you to upgrade or pushes paid add-ons now every time I use it.

As the sole recruiter at a small organization it only takes me a few minutes to create job postings and watch applicants populate in the ATS so I don't have to wrestle with complicated posting flows. I can also tailor our pipelines to match our hiring process and easily disposition candidates as they move through stages. The fact that the ATS links to BambooHR was essential for our onboarding workflow and setting up that integration with VivaHR was smooth. My Account Manager is easy to get in touch with and is consistently helpful whenever I have questions about the product.
Cons
I often struggle with the search function. When I type a candidate's name, they sometimes don't appear in results because they've been dispositioned and I have to remember to flip filters to include those dispositioned candidates , it would be so much more convenient if they appeared by default. Another frustration is that VivaHR doesn't catch duplicate candidates so my account is cluttered with many repeated profiles. I'd prefer it to consolidate every application under a single candidate record instead of generating a new profile whenever someone applies for another role. That fragmentation makes keeping track of interactions and notes painful since I have to hunt through multiple profiles to find my previous comments on a person. On top of that, I feel hamstrung by the fact that I can't edit or delete notes once they're saved, being able to correct or remove entries would make tracking candidate history far cleaner and less error-prone.

I've been using it for just over a week now and so far I'm really impressed with it. The interface is simple and it fixed the issues we were running into with Indeed without costing much. What has stood out the most is the sales and customer support , they're consistently helpful and follow up very well. Whenever I've had a question they responded promptly and made sure everything was taken care of which I truly appreciate.
Cons
Some of the fields for posting jobs are limited and could use additional selections to better reflect certain roles. For instance, after I pointed out to the sales representative that "manufacturing" wasn't available in the industry dropdown, they were quick to add it the next day.

Its very easy to keep track of candidates and I value that I can tailor what details we gather about each person. Our team finds the built-in questionnaires really useful and I like that we can message applicants directly inside the platform. Moving people from applicant through each hiring stage to an eventual hire is simple. We've also seen strong applicant flow and managed to hire thirteen people in the past six months.
Cons
Occasionally the system is awkward when I'm trying to separate candidates who are disqualified from those still progressing through the workflow. I often have to click through several screens to find the applicants who are active and it can be cumbersome to go from an email notifying me of a new submission to viewing that person's full application. They've fixed some problems already but it still gives me the impression of a fairly new company that's continuing to develop the underlying technology for the product.
