Perfect for annual team feedback

Pros

Overall it's been a really positive experience. Our team uses the engagement and survey features the most. We're still trying to get more people to use the 1-2-1 functions. The way it summarizes survey responses into themes has saved us a ton of time!

Cons

It doesn't always sync perfectly with our employee list so we often have to remind people about surveys through our intranet. Every now and then, a new hire doesn't get included because the list didn't update or sync in time.

Really enjoying using CultureAmp

Pros

I've really enjoyed using Culture Amp to track my daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals.

Cons

I honestly don't have any complaints about Culture Amp. It's been doing what we need it to do without any issues so far.

Pros

The UI is very userfriendly and it's easy for employees to set goals and add reflections. It feels more thoughtful than other tools. Simple, does the job and makes it easy to review tasks and 1:1s.

Cons

If there is one thing I'd like to see improved, it would be the skills coach section. I wish they could bring in AI or more advanced tech to reduce the manual work. Just something more modern that helps make training smoother and easier.

Pros

The UI is great! it's easy to manage employee data, set up surveys and track results all in one place.

Cons

There's very little I can say negatively about Culture Amp. The application works great for us and the support has met all of our expectations.

Makes 1:1s and goal planning way smoother

Pros

The site has great UI/UX so it's easy to navigate and understand. Tracking goals and discussion points through 1:1s has really helped us stay on top of things. It's nice being able to go back and see progress or remember past conversations.

Cons

I don't have any major cons to share. There are a few features we don't use but everything we do use functions well and gets the job done.

Scaling up feels clunky with this tool

Pros

Culture Amp just doesn't meet the needs of a large scale business. Even after raising our concerns, the only answers we get are to �wait� or adjust our process to fit their tool. They're not the customer-focused company they used to be. They have refused to support a smooth exit even though their product doesn't meet our needs anymore. If your company has more than 100 people or plans to grow, I would be cautious. It used to be great for us in the early days but now it feels like they are more focused on closing deals than helping customers.

Cons

As our headcount grew, Culture Amp became harder to use. We keep running into blockers and even after sharing feedback, support doesn't really help much. We have grown from 100 to over 400 people in three years and this tool just doesn't keep up. For example, doing a 360 review means setting up two separate reviews (Peer + Upward and Self Reflection) and running them side by side. It's double the setup and feels totally disconnected, with different UIs and settings. Extending one person's deadline means reopening the whole review cycle for everyone, which causes confusion and adds extra admin work. The fact that you can't set review deadlines individually is honestly baffling. And when we wanted to use a 9-box model for performance reviews, we were told it wouldn't be a problem but it turns out they don't support it at all. Their only suggestion was to build the whole thing manually outside of the system. It's clear they are not equipped for complex performance needs but they still try to upsell like they are.

Science is strong but the tool needs work

Pros

Not a good fit for big or fast-growing companies. Their Rippling integration is a mess and causes duplicate profiles. It's buggy too�different UX for self-reflection and performance reviews makes things confusing and manual. No real customer support either, just a chatbot. For anything complex like calibration or talent grids, we are told to download CSVs and handle it outside the system. Not ideal.

Cons

The UX is honestly terrible. It's just not userfriendly and using it feels more frustrating.

Promising but needs more polish

Pros

I really believe in what Culture Amp is trying to do, bring engagement, goals and performance into one space. From a highlevel view, it brings together the right tools in a pretty intuitive way. Plus, there's good room for customization.

Cons

The features feel clunky and a bit all over the place. Maybe if you had a dream team of administrators and strategists, you could make it work. But for us, the limitations in configuration make it more frustrating than helpful. Scheduling is messy, you can only view dates by clicking into specific groups and then into months and you can't even see a full-year schedule or your own obligations alongside your team's. Performance reviews and self-assessments are a pain, submitting and sharing documents is overly complicated and admin-only deadlines close things off too quickly. It just feels like doing even simple tasks becomes hard. The help bot asks for feedback and whether Culture Amp can contact you but then they told me they don't even link those responses to users. I gave detailed suggestions several times, hoping someone might follow up, but nope. When I finally asked support directly, they said the bot responses are viewed in aggregate only. So what's the point of asking if they can contact me? They didn't see a problem and nothing came of it.

Quick and efficient

Pros

It's really flexible, fast and lists tasks, goals and company values clearly. Employees just need to validate them.

Cons

Pros

Cons

Amazing tool for performance reviews

It has a super friendly interface and is really helpful for our performance reviews.

Cons

None that I'm aware of. We have only been using the product for self reviews and year end reviews so our use has been pretty limited.
