“Amazing experience with Effy
Pros
The support team is awesome and they're always quick to respond and ready to help whenever I need it. This tool is user friendly, so even newcomers can navigate it easily. It has everything needed for performance reviews and you can choose which stage of the process to start with. The best part is theres no need for extensive training which saves so much time.
Cons
The only downside I can think of is that it doesnt integrate with our internal HR system yet. Having that connection would be awesome because we wouldn't need to juggle multiple tools. But honestly, that's the only thing Id change and the team keeps improving everything else.

Setting this up was very simple for our small 14 person team. The evaluation templates and question bank are really easy to customize, so we can tailor reviews exactly how we need them. The reports and analytics provide clear insights without overwhelming us with unnecessary complexity.
Cons
The advanced features can feel overwhelming for smaller teams at first but they'll probably be very useful as we grow.

“Smart choice for tracking with slack
Pros
It works perfectly with our Slack setup and the SSO makes logging in super easy. I love that I can customize viewing permissions for performance reviews and it gives me the control I need. The anonymous 360 feedback feature is great for getting honest input from the team and not to mention, customer service has been really responsive whenever I've had questions.
Cons
I can't pull complete data for everyone who's finished their reviews which is limiting. Also, there's no way to schedule one on one meetings directly within the performance review process, so I have to handle that separately.

The AI assistance helped me build a solid review framework, plus setting everything up was simple and seeing the sample responses gave me a good idea of what to expect. Since this was our first time using something like this at the company, the walkthrough was a lifesaver for crafting the right questions. What I loved is how the AI monitors responses to catch any false inputs and it actually prompts users to rephrase their answers, almost like having someone guide them through the process. Their team was also very responsive when I had questions.
Cons
The free trial could offer more features to really test things out. It would be helpful if the builder had AI suggestions to help guide you through creating better forms.

Pros
It made running our first 360 reviews surprisingly simple. The interface is really interactive, so our team was able to evaluate managers and colleagues without any confusion. What impressed me most was how clear and concise the results summaries were and they gave everyone meaningful insights into where they're excelling and what they can improve. The customer support team was amazing whenever I needed help with anything.
Cons
It would be much more valuable if it integrated with Microsoft Teams since we don't use Slack.

Pros
The speed is impressive and it's really easy to use. The Slack integration works smoothly and handles automated tasks really well.
Cons
The free version only lets you have 5 users which feels restrictive. What's really annoying is that when you want to add more people, you have to pay for everyone, including those original 5 free users, instead of just paying for the extra users.

We rely on this tool for our company's 360 review process and the ready-made templates save a lot of time. Managing and administering the feedback is also fairly simple and quick which makes the whole process much easier to handle.
Cons
One thing that could be clearer is the point where the free version becomes a paid one. It would be much more helpful if the tool sent an advance alert when we were getting close to the free usage limit.

Using Book has been very easy. The AI resources really help speed up the feedback process and the interface is very well designed. It's simple to find what I need and create feedback without wasting time. I also haven't run into the kinds of issues I've seen in other software.
Cons
Pricing can be a downside when you have a lot of users but the free plan is an excellent option for small businesses and can be very helpful if you're working as a coordinator.

Running performance reviews four times a year used to take us tens, sometimes even hundreds, of hours and employee participation was pretty low. After we brought in this tool, we were able to start collecting feedback within minutes. The Slack integration in effi makes the whole process much more convenient for employees and that has helped us noticeably improve engagement.

Biggest benefit for me has been the 1,1 management for the team and the performance evaluation side of it, especially when it comes to assessing team skills and running reviews. Handling a personal development plan feels much more easy now.
Cons
do not have anything major to criticize. The only addition I would still like to see is Google Calendar integration, although the development team has already said it should be available very soon.

Interface feels clean and pleasant to use and the platform covers a wide range of really useful HR functions like personal employee cards, onboarding and offboarding workflows, leave management, surveys and performance reviews. It basically includes everything an HR manager needs to work effectively and the fact that all of it can be customized to fit your processes is a big advantage.
Cons
can't point to anything I dislike especially since the support team responds fast and takes care of bugs or requests almost right away.
