secure payroll and reporting

Pros

Getting started didn't take long which I really appreciated. My data feels well protected and having all employee records organized in one place makes things much more manageable. The reporting tools and payment processing are also very easy to use.

Cons

Pricing was probably my only concern, even though I do feel it's worth the money. The challenge is that when you're launching with limited capital, it can feel a bit expensive at first.

Smooth SSO setup

Pros

While setting up SSO for one of our clients, the whole implementation process went quite smoothly. The documentation and guidance shared by their support team were clear and genuinely helpful.

Cons

Because I was only focused on configuring Single Sign-On for this tool, there really wasn't much to complain about. The overall experience with the software has been very positive.

innovative ai job tools

Pros

It feels pretty revolutionary overall. I really appreciate how authentic it is, especially with the way it uses AI for job searching and building resumes.

Cons

One issue I've run into is with the employee portal which seems to be acting up. I submitted a leave request but I can't track its progress in the app because it just stays on "Pending approval." The details only become visible after the request has already been approved. On top of that, when I submit my resume, my work experience isn't arranged by year correctly, entries from 2019 show up first, while 2025 gets pushed to the bottom.

Not very simple to use

Pros

Employment Hero platform is regularly updated with new features and I like that it can handle weekly payroll processing.

Cons

Some sections are not very simple and certain features like holiday balances, tend to break easily, requiring a lot of time and effort to fix. To me it does not seem as efficient as other platforms available.

Onboarding process made simple

Pros

The sales and onboarding teams have been exceptional, offering great support throughout. Uploading data was surprisingly easy, making the entire process smooth and hassle free.

Cons

It was not always easy to find answers especially when dealing with an error.

Multitasking tool

Pros

Cons

Well I wish there were more automated functions like easier calculations for employee leave. Also I am not a fan of the limited company perks offered on the site.

Simple and fun to use

Pros

This software is simple, bright and enjoyable to use. Overall it is very user friendly so I picked it up quickly. Though new tools can be hard to introduce especially for a mixed age group but they really nailed the transition and made it easy for everyone.

Cons

I feel like it needs to support part-time staff better and make permissions more simple.

user-friendly salary tracking tool

Pros

As an end-user Employment Hero is a very helpful tool to keep track of my salary, leave balances and how long I have been with the company. Navigating the software is simple too and it's user-friendly features make it a simple task.

Cons

To be honest, I have not found anything I dislike about it. It's user-friendly and easy to navigate with minimal effort.

Pros

This has been a major upgrade from our previous HR system, with regular updates and improvements. The team is really dedicated to continuous enhancement.

Seamless payroll with great reports

Pros

The reports are the best and once set up the software works smoothly and makes payroll a much more enjoyable task for me.

Cons

Some of the small glitches were frustrating but I like the client support as it is usually quite helpful in providing fixes.

Mixed results with hr reporting

Pros

One of the stronger parts of this HR platform is how well it handles employee management and reporting. It's a fairly comprehensive tool that covers a wide range of HR functions, including features tied to legislation and compliance which makes it useful as an all-in-one platform.

Cons

Getting everything set up is quite complicated and when problems come up, support can be slow to respond. There also seem to be ongoing issues with the system itself and the SWAG app is unreliable, some employees' timesheets transfer into EH HR properly, while others simply do not.

Aligned processes and steady progress

Pros

Platform keeps getting better and those ongoing updates have really helped us tighten up and align the way we work.

Cons

There are still a few small issues with the integration between HR and the platform. Document creation on the HR side also needs work before we can use the system for everything, since some documents still have to be handled outside it.

All-in-one support that delivers

Pros

Handling employees and onboarding new hires with this tool has been really useful since it works as an all-in-one module. The customer support has been excellent too. I needed help getting my account set up and the team was incredibly responsive. They answered every question I had and even went beyond that and they were genuinely kind throughout the process. That level of service is hard to come by for the price.

Cons

I'm still just getting started with it, so at this point I don't have any negative feedback. If that changes down the road, I'll update my review.

reliable automation and support

Pros

For the price this is a great system that automates a lot of our processes, especially the connection between HR and the tool itself and it's very easy to use. During setup, the implementation team gave us a lot of support and even after go-live, the customer support and customer experience teams have continued to respond quickly whenever we need help. I use the system every day and it has cut down our process time quite a bit. We still haven't tested integrations with other systems yet.

Cons

My biggest concern is the recruitment module which still doesn't fully meet my expectations. That said, it is being developed further, so I can see room for improvement. It's still worth trying overall. Also, some associates don't seem to know the system very well and from time to time we get some unusual answers.

Pros

Whenever I've needed help, the customer service team has been excellent and very responsive. Their quick replies make a real difference.

Cons

convenient and user-friendly platform

Pros

Using this platform feels very easy and convenient and the overall user experience has been really positive. On top of that, the staff are helpful, knowledgeable and always ready to assist when needed.

Cons

smooth HR data import

Pros

One thing that's really helpful is that new employees can enter their information directly into HR and it then pulls into this tool automatically. That cuts down on manual entry and helps avoid mistakes.

Cons

reporting side has been a bit challenging for me because it works very differently from the previous system I was used to.

Excellent setup and support

Pros

Getting the platform up and running was very easy because the step-by-step guides were detailed and simple to follow. They explained each part clearly and whenever anything wasn't completely clear, the support team was quick to respond and really knew what they were doing during implementation. They answered my questions promptly and made sure I never felt stuck at any point.

Cons

There is some overlap in admin functionality between this tool and the HR platform. Employees don't really need access to both systems just to see the same information. On top of that, when granting portal access to an employee, it was a little confusing to tell whether the change needed to be made on the HR side or within this tool. Most of the reports available are also predefined and building custom reports requires quite a bit of Excel manipulation.

simple HRIS with robust features

Pros

From an HR perspective, this platform delivers a really great mix of HRIS and ATS capabilities without feeling overly complicated or overpriced. The interface is simple, the feature set is strong and it helps simplify a lot of day-to-day HR work. The help center is also genuinely useful and the pre-built templates the company provides are a nice bonus for handling internal communications.

Cons

One thing that has become more frustrating lately is the move toward chatbot-based support. It has made getting in touch with customer service more time-consuming and less easy and having a dedicated tech support email still seems like the better option whenever admins are unable to resolve an issue.
