Simple HRIS That Actually Works

Pros

This platform brought our HRIS into the modern era with its clean, simple design that feels familiar right from the start. There's no learning anxiety, everything just works smoothly. When I tackled my first project integrating the time-off function I managed the entire end-to-end process including getting our change-weary employees on board and ensuring compatibility with existing systems. I didn't need formal training after just an hour playing around in the sandbox environment, I felt confident enough to manage the whole project. Despite not having an IT background and generally struggling with technology, this tool made everything surprisingly manageable.

Cons

The workflows feel pretty rigid, I was shocked there wasn't a way to hide accrued personal leave. That said the support team is always ready to help and make adjustments when they can.

Delivers Every Time!

Pros

Moving from our old clunky HR system to this platform has been a game-changer for us. We can now align everything with our brand colors and use it as a proper communication hub while automating most of our HR processes. The efficiency gains have been massive, we've cut down on so many manual tasks and practically eliminated human error risks. What I really appreciate is how it's become the go-to place for team updates, celebrations and important business announcements. Everyone loves engaging with posts and staying connected with colleagues milestones and birthdays. Our account manager Amrit is incredibly responsive and always helps us maximize what we can do with the platform. We're so satisfied that we're adding the Talent module next year.

Cons

Only downside is that we're so satisfied with the current features that we haven't explored everything yet we're just now planning to add the Talent module next year.

Powerful yet surprisingly easy to use

Pros

The ticket system is fantastic, support responds quickly and always resolves our issues. The community is incredibly helpful too whenever we can't figure something out ourselves, there's always someone ready to assist. I've never experienced this level of support with any other software we've used. I really appreciate how the platform works, its layout and features plus how simple it is to navigate. As a tool it's extremely practical but also enjoyable to use which definitely encourages our team to engage with it more often.

Cons

Haven't found any real downsides yet after working with it for three months though I'm sure there's room for improvement somewhere.

Solid HR Management Solution

Pros

Flexibility here is incredible, we can add countless custom fields and use workflows to keep our data accurate while tracking activities. Navigation feels smooth with an excellent user experience. Working with the customer support team has been a real pleasure, they're fantastic to deal with.

Cons

There are definitely areas that could use some work, document management and deletion for GDPR compliance, handling external user access and a few other limitations we deal with daily. The big thing I'm waiting for though is calculation fields, once those get added, it'll completely transform how we use this platform.

Smooth transition from legacy software

Pros

The automation features have been a total game-changer for how we handle task flows and information sharing. I love how customizable everything is, we can set things up exactly how our team needs them. Communication with new hires and managers has improved dramatically and the automated reminders keep us on track with important tasks. Once you get the hang of the categories, it's pretty user-friendly. What I really appreciate is being able to configure everything myself without constantly reaching out to support.

Cons

In my experience there are some limitations with field-level permissions, when you give someone access to a category, they automatically see every field in it which isn't always what we want. The reporting also has constraints where you cant pull all the information into one general report so we have to be pretty strategic about choosing the right report type.

Efficient Tool

Pros

Really simple to work with! Everything can be customized exactly how we need it and they're always rolling out fresh features. People across our company consistently give positive feedback about using it.

Cons

I'm hoping these issues get addressed in future updates! It would be fantastic if we could send offer letters directly, doing it through esign feels pretty clunky. Also wish permission access was more granular, like giving managers access to specific templates instead of everything. Would love the ability to create standalone tasks that aren't tied to task lists, things like annual policy reviews or checking if documents are still current.

Customizable and User-Friendly Business Solution

Pros

HiBob feels friendly and simple plus that social media-style front page really draws employees in. Once they're using it the system handles virtually all HR processes consistently and smoothly. We can collaborate closely with our business teams to build systems that actually add value instead of creating pointless red tape. Administration is simple and their customer support has been excellent.

Cons

The leave accrual setup is pretty inflexible and doesn't handle country-specific requirements well, things like Australian Long Service Leave or New Zealand's Leave Act complexities just don't fit. Would be much better if common country legislation was already built in as a default feature.

simple and user-friendly

Pros

I'm really impressed by how flexible this platform is and how simple it makes creating tasks and workflows. It's completely transformed our onboarding and offboarding processes for the better. One feature that stands out to me is allowing employees to upload banners on their profiles, it's such a nice personal touch that makes everything feel more human.

Cons

While I love this platform overall I do wish it had automated posting capabilities for employee milestones like new hires, birthdays and work anniversaries. This feature would really help our HR and compensation teams stay on top of recognition efforts. Other than that missing functionality, I honestly can't find much to complain about, the system works great for us.

Excellent Implementation and Program

Pros

We were searching for a new HR system and this came highly recommended from another company. The initial call with Jed was fantastic, he answered all our questions patiently and explained everything thoroughly. Implementation was where things really shone and Jennifer was incredible. Honestly, it was the smoothest implementation we've ever experienced. She let us do the hands-on work so we'd actually learn the system, was always available when we needed help, suggested better approaches and helped us maximize what we could get out of it. They use an excellent tracking tool and assign weekly "homework" to keep everything on schedule. We use this daily now and it's practically become part of our team with all the automation it handles! Everything is incredibly user-friendly, the help guides, webinars, all of it. Normally we'd have to create our own "how to" documentation but it comes with everything already written that we can send directly to managers. Makes our jobs so much easier! We've gradually started using more features and it's been tremendous support for HR, surveys, goals, tasks, automated reminders, one-on-ones and much more! While it doesn't include payroll (our previous provider did), we had to find another solution. The integration between the two systems was simple and updates continuously. The Teams integration is also excellent, plus syncing events to your calendar. Customer support has been quick and genuinely helpful the few times we've reached out (which hasn't been often since implementation went so well). We've seen tons of system updates and new features during our time using it which shows the team really listens to feedback and implements improvements within months! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an HR solution.

Cons

I'd say integrating payroll functionality would be helpful and having a dedicated training environment where we could build courses for our team would be a nice addition.

Solid HR platform with great usability

Pros

I really appreciate how this tool feels like social media with its simple interface and the Slack integration makes it part of our daily workflow naturally. As an HR professional, it's become my go-to solution for everything, workflows, reporting, you name it. The customizable workflows are brilliant for keeping everyone on track with perfectly timed notifications and reminders. What impressed me most was the implementation process, I managed the entire setup myself without needing any support, thanks to the clear instructions. Despite being packed with features, it doesn't feel overwhelming or complicated. The reporting capabilities are outstanding too, with tons of templates and customization options plus excellent data visualization that makes creating reports actually enjoyable. It's reliable, delivers exactly what it promises and honestly feels more like a natural part of our work routine than just another software tool we have to use.

Cons

The graphs from reports only download as image files which can be frustrating when I need to customize them for company presentations or reports. I usually end up recreating the visuals elsewhere, adding extra work to my process. As a small business owner some of the more valuable features are just out of our budget range right now. It's disappointing to see useful tools that require a bigger investment to access.

Great tool for empowering teams and leadership

Pros

Two years in and this platform has exceeded every expectation we had. We wanted to give managers better data and tools for employee management, connect our remote teams through updates and recognition features and free up our HR team with automation and self-service options. It's delivered on all fronts honestly, it's the first HR system I've rolled out where people outside of HR actually come find me to rave about how great it is. The team behind it has been fantastic to work with from implementation through ongoing support and they keep rolling out new features that give us even better ways to support our workforce.

Cons

While I haven't faced any major drawbacks with our current setup, it might not be the right fit for every organization. You'll want to really nail down your specific needs and make sure you get all stakeholders on board during the transition, change management is crucial for success.

Impressive HR Management Solution

Pros

HiBob has completely transformed how our HR department operates. It's saved us countless hours and made everything so much more manageable. Being able to customize almost everything is absolutely brilliant. The talent module works great and I'm excited about the upcoming additions they're planning. Reporting capabilities are excellent and those dashboards provide such helpful insights. The survey tool gives us amazing data through its reporting features. Everything looks incredibly professional too. Our staff absolutely love using it, especially the Kudos feature and superpowers functionality. It's honestly the perfect fit for our type of business.

Cons

The review system lost its yellow emoji faces which really made feedback more engaging, I'd love to see those return! Also tried using the expense tracking feature but it's pretty clunky and needs some serious work to be functional.

Highly Adaptable and Intuitive System

Pros

The system works really well for our company since we operate multiple locations of different sizes, each with their own benefit packages. This platform gives us the flexibility to configure almost anything we need while maintaining a clear overview of everything. The setup process is user-friendly and new employees can easily navigate and find what they're looking for without much training.

Cons

Since bob is still pretty new, there are gaps in functionality like holiday setup being much easier for some countries than others and updates can take a while to process. The platform is improving quickly though. I'd like to see more features added but honestly most HR folks know that no single HRIS does everything and you'll need additional tools for things like performance management.

solid HR solution with room to grow

Pros

Working with this platform feels natural right from the start and getting it set up was surprisingly easy. Also whenever I reach out for help, the support team gets back to me fast with actually useful solutions. The automated onboarding and offboarding has been a total game-changer for us. We can now handle almost every step of our lengthy process without manual work which frees up tons of time for other important projects. Beyond that there are so many other features that you can customize to fit exactly what your organization needs. It's become something we really can't do without in our day-to-day operations.

Excellent HR Management Solution

Pros

The implementation process was incredibly smooth and managing everything behind the scenes is simple once it's up and running. Both end-users and our HR team find it really user-friendly. What I appreciate most is not needing IT support constantly, unlike other HRIS systems we've used before. Setting up integrations is simple, just flip a switch basically. We're also using the UK Payroll through Pento and it connects smoothly. The platform scales well as we grow and the company keeps adding new features based on what customers actually need. I'm in there daily pulling reports and checking that our global team is using it properly. Whenever I've reached out to customer support, they've been genuinely helpful.

Cons

Benefits module is pretty confusing and definitely needs work, it's not user-friendly at all.

Solid platform

I've been using this system for about 2 years now and honestly it's been a game changer. The implementation was surprisingly smooth, way easier than I expected. Comprehensive HR Platform

The system has become essential to our operations and goes way beyond just being an HR database. We rely on several modules that are incredibly valuable for managing our remote team, things like performance reviews, company-wide announcements, employee surveys and an anonymous feedback feature called Your Voice. What's equally helpful are the customizable task lists that make sure we don't miss any steps in our processes, whether it's onboarding new hires or handling departures. You can always see exactly where each process stands at any moment.

Cons

Learning curve is pretty steep with all the features available and it definitely takes some time to figure out how to get the most out of everything. You really need to be willing to put in the effort to learn though the support team is great at helping you customize things to fit your specific workflow.

Poor experience!

Nothing really stands out, it's pretty much your standard HR system

Cons

The workforce planning feature is honestly a disaster, can't believe they're actually selling this to customers. It doesn't even integrate with the main HiBob platform or reporting tools which means I'm stuck doing everything twice since the modules won't communicate with each other. There's no way to generate reports from workforce planning either. The costing part is useless because you can't add percentage-based on-costs and it won't connect to other systems like EPM. While you can import staff names for forecasting, salary data doesn't come through making it impossible for finance to forecast staff costs properly. If your looking to integrate systems and transform operations, this isn't the solution.

Excellent HRIS

Pros

I've been using this for about 6 years now starting at a previous company and honestly it just keeps improving. What began as a solid platform has evolved into this comprehensive hub that handles everything my HR team needs, from core HRIS functions to performance management, employee surveys, PTO tracking, workflow automation and even payroll integration. Without it we'd probably be juggling multiple vendors which would definitely cost more and create that dreaded software overload. The support team has always been responsive when I've reached out with questions or issues. They actually seem to listen to user feedback and implement meaningful improvements. From an admin perspective, it's incredibly simple, both for me managing things behind the scenes and for employees using it day-to-day. Setup was surprisingly quick for our organization and training new team members has been simple. The Google Calendar and Slack integrations are game-changers for me. Having time-off requests sync with calendars and getting task notifications through Slack just makes everything flow better. As someone who lives in this system daily for my HR responsibilities, it genuinely organizes my entire workflow.

Cons

The mobile app could use some work right now it's pretty basic and only handles simple stuff like vacation requests. Other than that I really can't complain about much.

Essential Tool with Great Customization

Pros

The interface is really simple, everything's right where you'd expect it to be so navigating around feels natural. Our team picked it up incredibly fast with hardly any training needed. They love how easy it is to handle everyday stuff like requesting time off, checking who's available and keeping track of birthdays and work anniversaries. Integration with our existing office tools works smoothly and really boosts our overall efficiency. What I appreciate most is how customizable everything is, we can adjust features to fit exactly what we need. The development team consistently rolls out updates based on user feedback which means the platform keeps getting better and stays relevant to our evolving requirements.

Cons

Setting up the system ourselves was challenging, particularly figuring out how configuration choices would affect everything down the line. Custom data and fields were especially tricky since some changes couldn't be undone later. We didn't have access to a sandbox environment during implementation which made any adjustments after going live pretty risky. Given how complex the system has become, I really think a sandbox should be standard, we use one now and it makes such a difference for testing. New updates sometimes bring bugs along with the improvements. The support team usually fixes these issues quickly but it can still be frustrating when your workflow gets disrupted.

solid HR management solution

Pros

Interface is fantastic and incredibly user-friendly. Love the reporting features, task management, workflows and how well it integrates with other systems, really transformed our HR processes. Have to mention their customer support team too, they're super responsive and always willing to go the extra mile!

Cons

Lack of calculated fields and data validation features is a bit frustrating. I wish there was field-level permissioning instead of just category-level controls, that would give us much more flexibility. The master-slave data replication isn't instantaneous either which sometimes creates problems when we're trying to pull data from the system.

Powerful features, poor execution

it offers tons of flexibility and you can customize almost everything to fit your specific needs plus there are loads of additional modules available though they dont come with the standard package.

Cons

setup is pretty DIY-focused which means if you dont know what your doing, you'll struggle to get the most out of it. We ended up hiring an outside consultant to help us navigate everything and that made a huge difference! The extra modules like Compensation and Workforce Planning feel underdeveloped compared to the rest of the platform, for instance, while most areas let you export reports with decent filters, the WFP reporting and filtering options are pretty terrible. Also, you can't even process leavers in the workforce planning module (which seems like a basic feature) and the financial reporting capabilities are lacking for what we actually need.

Solid dealership management solution

Pros

The platform keeps evolving with regular updates and improvements. Really appreciate the sleek, modern interface that makes navigation simple. From an employee standpoint, it's simple to use without much training needed. You get comprehensive HR functionality including staff management, onboarding processes, exit procedures, feedback surveys and performance tracking all in one place. They recently rolled out an ATS feature that works well for smaller companies with modest recruitment needs and there are some promising enhancements coming down the pipeline. Customer support has been excellent, they respond fast and are always accessible when you need help and provide really helpful tutorials.

Cons

The setup process wasn't very simple and felt quite different from other HRIS platforms I've used. I really could have used more guidance and support from customer service during implementation, the workflows were particularly tricky to configure.

Intuitive and Modern HR Solution

Its is incredibly simple and modern, our team picked it up with almost no training needed, whether they're requesting time off or completing performance reviews. Ive never seen such quick adoption from employees with any other system launch! The Microsoft Entra integration was simple to set up ourselves and whenever we've had minor hiccups, the support team responds super quickly via email. Heartcore HR has been an amazing bonus too, it's become my go-to resource for community questions, system updates and webinars.

Cons

I didnt put enough time into setting it up myself which isnt really the software's fault. The company provides great webinars and resources to help with implementation, I just didnt make the time to use them properly. Theyre actually really quick about fixing issues and making improvements so whenever I think of something I dont like, it usually gets resolved pretty fast. Honestly cant think of any real complaints.
