“Valuable flexibility and ongoing support
Pros
I really value the HRSoft team's flexibility in customization and the ongoing support their customer service provides.
Cons
We would have benefited from the ability to access or select multiple modules to use during our initial contract term. As having that option would let us better showcase the business case for other compensation-related initiatives and could have increased the likelihood of purchasing those extra products at renewal.

Pros
This serves as a true one stop solution for compensation planning. Also it's incredibly adaptable and I consistently receive outstanding white-glove support.
Cons
I wish the reporting capabilities and electronic signature options were more developed and easier to use.

“Highly customizable and pleasant interface
Pros
HRSoft provides highly customizable solutions that are genuinely shaped around what our organization needs. Also visually the interface is much more pleasant than many other systems that feel like you're trapped inside an Excel sheet. The support team has been excellent too and the rollout process went very well for us.
Cons
There is room to make the data analytics features and dashboards more powerful and insightful.

Pros
The configuration choices have been flexible and I love the support staff as they have been excellent.
Cons
I cannot enter a new annual or hourly rate directly as only percentage or fixed dollar adjustments are allowed.

“Saved hours, replaced spreadsheet mess
Pros
Our team has found HRSoft to be the best fit for our organization. Before using it, all our compensation planning was done in spreadsheets which was a mess. Since switching to this tool, our compensation and regional HR teams have saved countless hours. I also appreciate that the platform is flexible and easy to navigate.
Cons
Overall the platform has been a win for us as there is very little I dislike. That said we are still working through some hierarchy-related issues but I have found temporary workarounds so they have not disrupted our processes.

“Excellent interface and highly customizable
Pros
HRSoft's interface is excellent and very user friendly. Navigation is also not a problem and the input fields are easy to follow so users rarely get confused. After setup data imports run well every time. Also the platform is highly customizable and the support team is very attentive whenever we contact them. Plus during implementation they welcomed collaboration and helped customize features to our specific needs.
Cons
Configuring budgets can get tricky if we need highly customized setups. That said the implementation team is great at walking us through options and finding practical solutions. Another drawback is that there is no way to schedule automatic data exports as someone has to run each export manually.

“Its an amazon of compensation management
Pros
Working on the People Services team, I'm impressed with HRSoft's interface. My senior leaders often call it the Amazon of compensation management. They have also worked closely with us to tailor the system to our specific needs.
Cons
Overall we are pretty satisfied with the solution. But occasionally it gets slow when too many users are logged in though from what I have been told, performance issue should be fixed as the platform matures.

“Great for salary planning, good support
Pros
It has most of the features I need for salary planning, merit increases and bonus distribution. Plus the support I have received from the team has also been consistently very good.
Cons
One problem I have noticed is that a few of the administrative features are complicated to set up and the small allotment of annual complimentary support hours runs out quickly, often before the basic configuration is finished.

Pros
The software is quite user-friendly and the UX is modern and uncluttered too which makes getting tasks done much easier. Also their support team has been the best to work with as they are responsive and helpful.

“provide us single view for merit and promotion
Pros
What I like most is having a single view for merit and promotion planning as I can review everyone in a team within their own structure, without switching screens. I also value the real-time budget updates as recommendations are entered. Plus the option to add Co-Planners lets HR help plan for specific areas. There are many ready-made reports available too and I like that I can create and publish compensation letters for planners to give to their employees.
Cons
It takes a lot of professional services hours to configure the system and we never seem to have enough support for our annual setup. Another minor complaint is that I don't like the search feature. As after finding an employee, you still have to click Apply to see the results which feels like an unnecessary extra step.

“Great for yearly merit process
Pros
We rely on HRsoft for our yearly merit process and have seen excellent results with the platform. It lets each of our planners sign in and easily set raise percentages and manage promotions.
Cons
This year it rolled out an interface update. While I do like the refreshed layout, our team ended up needing substantial custom work on the dashboard/landing page so it would accurately display our specific data correctly.

Hrsoft is quite user friendly and simple to use. Plus it comes with a tidy and uncluttered interface.And I am also supported by an outstanding team who are consistently a delight to collaborate with.
Cons
There are times when I have to spend quite a bit of extra time and effort getting every report and stat to line up correctly. In most cases, I have found this stems from underlying data problems or differing definitions rather than any fault with the software itself.

“love the interface
Pros
The team was very accommodating in customizing the system to fit our unique plan rules. Since we wanted to keep the user experience similar to our old platform, they worked hard to replicate it. The interface is also user friendly enough that employees did not need long training sessions to get comfortable. We also gave them some complex reporting requests and they handled them well delivering what we needed without a lot of back-and-forth.
Cons
I am a bit concerned that the UI looks slightly dated. So yes I'd like to see a visual refresh rolled out within the next couple of years.
