centralized dashboard simplifies tracking

Pros

What I appreciated most about HRsoft Compensation Management was how user friendly the interface is. It let our team handle complex compensation plans with ease while keeping accuracy and regulatory compliance intact. Plus its centralized dashboard also simplified tracking budgets, approvals and exceptions which organized our compensation cycles.

Cons

The initial setup and customization were the most frustrating parts because they took a lot of time. Although the platform's configurability is a real plus getting it tailored to our organization's unique compensation frameworks demanded considerable effort and careful coordination throughout implementation.

managed bonuses and cut manual tasks

Pros

During my Human Resources internship I relied on HRsoft while working in compensation and benefits and what stood out to me was how it managed handling salary adjustments and bonuses making everything far more structured. I also loved that it cut down on our HR team's manual tasks and reduced mistakes in compensation planning and I found it simple to view and compare employees pay details all together in one spot.

Cons

As a newcomer at the time I found it challenging to get to understand all of its features. Also there were occasions when running reports was very slow and those long load times held things up and caused delays.

Best tool for easy payroll management

For my work this is the best tool for managing payroll with real ease and its interface is extremely simple to navigate too.

Cons

performance issues with app

Pros

Hrsoft lets me tailor workflows really well. Integrating it with our HRIS was also fast and hassle-free and the budgeting tools helped a lot during early planning.

Cons

App performance is problematic as it tends to slow significantly when several users are logged in. Reporting options feel too restrictive and the interface sometimes updates without notice which I find really confusing.

great global platform but needs stronger analytics

Pros

HRSoft is a standout platform for compensation management as it is flexible and supports global operations. I also really liked the smooth HRIS integrations and how automation handles long-term incentives which removes a lot of complexity. The Total Rewards Communication module was especially helpful for engaging employees and helping them understand their benefits.

Cons

That said I'd like to see stronger analytics and clearer dashboards for tracking compensation trends as that would make it even more useful for strategic planning. Also there is a fairly steep learning curve for first-time users particularly for organizations that haven't used such comprehensive compensation tools before.

provides us with great training

Pros

well i have really enjoyed collaborating with the HRsoft team as they provide excellent training and plenty of resources that helped me learn how to use the system.

Cons

at times the dashboards take quite a while to load and I notice the site works slowly when traffic is high. Also our HR data is not integrated with the tool so I have to audit regularly because discrepancies can crop up between systems.

Smooth implementation and customizable

Pros

From implementation to Managers actively using the platform the entire experience was smooth. As our implementation team was exceptional, patient with us and able to satisfy every requirement. They tailored the system to our specifications for prorations, new hire processes and related configurations to match our exact needs precisely.

Cons

We do not really have any negatives. Our managers like being able to see their direct reports and full team rollups at once with live data. Switching from Excel was also easy because the system looks good and is simple to use. Managers are also big fans of the merit process it supports.

User-friendly and our managers gave positive feedback

Pros

I like how user friendly the platform is. As all of our managers provided very positive feedback after the merit cycle. The implementation team assigned to us was excellent too and consistently went out of their way to help.

Cons

Nothing major but we would prefer to use the platform to manage salary changes year-round as well as during our merit cycle but at this time it looks like that functionality isn't supported.

Manages international budgets

Pros

It can manage international budgets without causing much trouble. Also it is simple to use and I often find the interface user friendly. Even the support team has been excellent when I've needed help. I also like that I can customize features to fit our workflows.

Cons

However I cannot enter the same bonus percentage for a whole group of employees in a single, quick entry which is inconvenient.

I really value the HRSoft team's flexibility in customization and the ongoing support their customer service provides.

Cons

We would have benefited from the ability to access or select multiple modules to use during our initial contract term. As having that option would let us better showcase the business case for other compensation-related initiatives and could have increased the likelihood of purchasing those extra products at renewal.

HRSoft provides highly customizable solutions that are genuinely shaped around what our organization needs. Also visually the interface is much more pleasant than many other systems that feel like you're trapped inside an Excel sheet. Saved hours, replaced spreadsheet mess

Pros

Our team has found HRSoft to be the best fit for our organization. Before using it, all our compensation planning was done in spreadsheets which was a mess. Since switching to this tool, our compensation and regional HR teams have saved countless hours. I also appreciate that the platform is flexible and easy to navigate.

Cons

Overall the platform has been a win for us as there is very little I dislike. That said we are still working through some hierarchy-related issues but I have found temporary workarounds so they have not disrupted our processes.

Excellent interface and highly customizable

Pros

HRSoft's interface is excellent and very user friendly. Navigation is also not a problem and the input fields are easy to follow so users rarely get confused. After setup data imports run well every time. Also the platform is highly customizable and the support team is very attentive whenever we contact them. Plus during implementation they welcomed collaboration and helped customize features to our specific needs.

Cons

Configuring budgets can get tricky if we need highly customized setups. That said the implementation team is great at walking us through options and finding practical solutions. Another drawback is that there is no way to schedule automatic data exports as someone has to run each export manually.

Its an amazon of compensation management

Pros

Working on the People Services team, I'm impressed with HRSoft's interface. My senior leaders often call it the Amazon of compensation management. They have also worked closely with us to tailor the system to our specific needs.

Cons

Overall we are pretty satisfied with the solution. But occasionally it gets slow when too many users are logged in though from what I have been told, performance issue should be fixed as the platform matures.

Great for salary planning, good support

Pros

It has most of the features I need for salary planning, merit increases and bonus distribution. Plus the support I have received from the team has also been consistently very good.

Cons

One problem I have noticed is that a few of the administrative features are complicated to set up and the small allotment of annual complimentary support hours runs out quickly, often before the basic configuration is finished.

provide us single view for merit and promotion

Pros

What I like most is having a single view for merit and promotion planning as I can review everyone in a team within their own structure, without switching screens. I also value the real-time budget updates as recommendations are entered. Plus the option to add Co-Planners lets HR help plan for specific areas. There are many ready-made reports available too and I like that I can create and publish compensation letters for planners to give to their employees.

Cons

It takes a lot of professional services hours to configure the system and we never seem to have enough support for our annual setup. Another minor complaint is that I don't like the search feature. As after finding an employee, you still have to click Apply to see the results which feels like an unnecessary extra step.

Great for yearly merit process

Pros

We rely on HRsoft for our yearly merit process and have seen excellent results with the platform. It lets each of our planners sign in and easily set raise percentages and manage promotions.

Cons

This year it rolled out an interface update. While I do like the refreshed layout, our team ended up needing substantial custom work on the dashboard/landing page so it would accurately display our specific data correctly.

Has a outstanding support team

Pros

Hrsoft is quite user friendly and simple to use. Plus it comes with a tidy and uncluttered interface.And I am also supported by an outstanding team who are consistently a delight to collaborate with.

Cons

There are times when I have to spend quite a bit of extra time and effort getting every report and stat to line up correctly. In most cases, I have found this stems from underlying data problems or differing definitions rather than any fault with the software itself.

love the interface

Pros

The team was very accommodating in customizing the system to fit our unique plan rules. Since we wanted to keep the user experience similar to our old platform, they worked hard to replicate it. The interface is also user friendly enough that employees did not need long training sessions to get comfortable. We also gave them some complex reporting requests and they handled them well delivering what we needed without a lot of back-and-forth.

Cons

I am a bit concerned that the UI looks slightly dated. So yes I'd like to see a visual refresh rolled out within the next couple of years.

Flexible and works pretty fast

Pros

The CompTrak team really knows the insurance industry well. Also they have been extremely flexible even when we needed things done on very short notice. I was also impressed by how fast they handled development and testing, with quick turnarounds on every request. Their work is always high quality. And whenever we had questions, support picked up the phone and was ready to help. Our business users say the app is very user-friendly for both managers and admins as it gives them flexibility while keeping audit controls in place. On the maintenance side, in two and a half years since going live, we have not had a single major or even medium issue.

Cons

I honestly can't come up with any drawbacks right now. The product has proven to be extremely stable and useful and we have not experienced any meaningful production incidents while using it.

It is very user-friendly interactive tool we used to educate employees about their total compensation. Plus we got a lot of positive comments about the platform's design and layout. Easy deployment and clear admin features

Pros

As part of the team who deploys and handles some of the administration of this application within our infrastructure, we find the deployment tasks really simple to manage and carry out. The admin features of the tool are also very clear and easy to use.

Cons

I've noticed that error handling is one area we occasionally have trouble with when an issue pops up inside the application. Frequently the error text is not very informative and that lack of clarity makes it challenging for me to trace and identify the root cause of the problem.
