“Great reports but slow help
Pros
The reporting feature has made our internal processes so much easier and faster. Being able to create the exact reports we need has been a huge help.
Cons
If you have a problem that needs extra research or has to be sent to a higher level of support, the response times can get really slow.

“onboarding is simple and smooth
Pros
Onboarding new employees is simple and smooth. Our managers have given great feedback and our new hires always say how much easier the paperwork is compared to their previous jobs.
Cons
Getting a tech request or a change implemented takes forever. It seems like a lot of other people have to have the same issue and vote for it before they'll even look at a simple fix.

“Website is fast but search is bad
Pros
The website is easy to use and the pages load quickly. Overall, it's been a good experience for me.
Cons
The search function needs work. I'll type in a word to find something and nothing comes up. When I'm on a call with a client and trying to work quickly, it would be so helpful to just search for what I need instead of clicking through a dozen tabs.

Pros
Really enjoy how organized this tool is. It's easy to manage and has tons of features. Overall, it's just really user-friendly.
Cons
Main downside for me is the occasional lag or when the site goes down. It always seems to happen at the worst time and takes forever to come back.

“Comprehensive tool for all HRIS needs
Pros
It's very user-friendly, both for me as an admin and for our employees plus I feel like its a really comprehensive tool that handles all my HRIS needs.
Cons
My biggest challenge has always been getting past the first level of customer service to the right department. I will say that isolved seems to be trying to improve this but it's still an issue.

“Good service but unclear feature availability
Pros
I like that their customer service team is so quick to help whenever we have a problem. They've also been great about scheduling monthly meetings to help us with any issues or just to simplify how we do things.
Cons
We're discovering there are a lot of features in Isolved that we have access to but they're not actually turned on for us. I just wish we knew what all was available so we could actually use the system to its full potential.

“User friendly but buggy after updates
Pros
for me, its just so easy to use! It's a very user-friendly platform and they're always updating it and adding new things to make it better.
Cons
After every update, there's usually about a day where things are glitchy and don't work right. It's normally fixed by Monday but it's still problem.

“The most frustrating system ever!
Pros
I honestly didn't like anything about the system. If I absolutely had to say something, I guess it's easy to use... but only because it's so basic.
Cons
Other than being easy to use (which it's not), it is the worst I've ever used in my 20+ year HR and payroll career. I thought Namely was bad but isolved is worse. There are so many basic things you can't do yourself, like adding a department or a location, you have to wait for a rep. You can't mass download forms like I-9s or paystubs, you have to go into every single employee's file one by one. And the craziest thing I've ever seen: the company's access and the employees access are tied together. So when you stop being a client, no one, not even the employees can get back in to see their old paystubs or W-2s. If you use this, warn everyone to download their documents before you lose access.

“great features but updates cause issues
Pros
It has so many features that are better than other payroll software. The reporting section is fantastic. With so many reports to choose from, we can easily help our clients, and they can efficiently run their own audits. The whole system is user-friendly, so our clients get comfortable with it really quickly. I also really love the iSolved University where we can find quick help videos and articles. There's even a community where we can all learn from each other.
Cons
iSolved is always putting out updates but a lot of the time, those updates end up causing issues with other features.. Some of the new features are neat but it feels like most are just cosmetic changes. There are some great ideas on their idea portal that would really help partners like us but it seems to take forever for our feedback to be heard.

I can't really think of anything good to say. The training and customer service weren't great and I was pretty disappointed. I actually still have some open questions that haven't been answered and one of them is already three months old.
Cons
Outdated and disorganized. It doesn't work well and I can't even track the progress of new hires. It's not very transparent and doesn't feel like a complete platform.

Pros
Easy to find your way around. Logging in is secure but not complicated and you can see all your pay information right there in one place.
Cons
I can't view multiple pay stubs at once. You have to pick a specific time frame to look at and the list only shows the last 6-8 weeks, if I remember right.

I appreciate it because it's so easy to use. I can even teach it to my clients without any trouble, even if they aren't very confident with technology.
Cons

“A Clearer View but A Clunky App
Pros
The recent update to the desktop platform is excellent. The interface is more informative and intuitive, making it easy to navigate. I particularly appreciate the clear breakdown of pay details like deductions and overtime, and how simple it is to access important documents like W-2s.
Cons
the positive experience doesn't extend to the mobile app or customer support. The app is vague, difficult to log into, and the initial payroll selection step often fails to link to my company correctly. When these issues occur, getting help is a challenge because customer service is difficult to reach and there's no dedicated point of contact.

I admire its simplicity. But what's great is that it's also highly customizable, so you can make it do pretty much anything you need. It's adaptable in every way.
Cons

“horrible service since three years
Pros
An issue from last week remains open, but we've noted some improvement in communication as their team has finally begun following up on the ticket.
Cons
The service is absolutely horrible! It's been terrible for all 3 years I've been here. Even after going to upper management for help multiple times, nothing has really gotten better. We've had some major issues, like mistakes with employee pay or state taxes which is just unacceptable. We always have to chase down answers instead of the support team fixing problems on their own, even when they're the ones who caused the issue.
