“An Absolute Billing Nightmare
Pros
If I could give it zero stars, I would. Working with them has been the single worst experience we've ever had with a payroll company. Ever since we signed up, it's been a non-stop nightmare of billing mistakes, incompetent support, systems that don't work and no one taking responsibility.
Cons
We were charged way more than what we agreed to. For months, we kept asking for a breakdown of the charges but we just got the runaround. We were transferred from department to department and told "that's not my job" more times than I can count. No one has ever been able to explain what we were paying for. Our "dedicated support rep" was impossible to reach. The few times he answered, he'd put us on hold forever and then just hang up. That was the standard experience.

“Simple payroll, powerful benefits
Pros
I love how simple it is to run payroll. The benefits portal for open enrollment is great and it connects directly to the insurance carriers. Employees can check their time and PTO in the People Cloud. The list of good things just goes on.
Cons
I just can't figure out how to create a report, even though there are tutorials. I just don't have the time to learn it.

“user-friendly but report creation is difficult
Pros
It is easy to find your way around and you can easily add more applications to expand your services whenever you want. Having an assigned customer service rep is also a big plus.
Cons
Creating reports isn't easy. There aren't enough options and sometimes you have to ask a customer service rep to assign a report to you.

“Feature-rich tool
Pros
iSolved has so many features and they're always adding more cool stuff.
Cons
I have noticed it has some downtime whenever they do a new release. They're working on moving us to the new version, which is good but it's still in progress.

“simply perfect for daily tasks
Pros
My favorite thing about this tool is how simple it is to handle my everyday tasks.
Cons
Honestly, I can't think of a single thing I don't like about isolved. I think it's an amazing platform.

“Best reporting, confusing menus
Pros
I can pull up any report I need, anytime, day or night. There's a good variety of them, too.
Cons
I find the menu layout to be really complicated and hard to figure out.

“helpful when it works
Pros
The quick punch feature and the mobile app are very useful for when I'm running late and need to clock in from my phone. It's so much easier than dealing with time cards. I also like having my paystubs and documents right there whenever I need them.
Cons
The app has a lot of technical glitches. It constantly signs me out, won't let me log in or says I've already punched in when I haven't, which leads to double punches.

“Strong security!
Pros
Umm data protection is good with MFA and encryption. It really gives me peace of mind knowing everything is secure and compliant.
Cons
My main con is the security steps. Having those extra login steps at the start and end of the day really slows me down and messes with my workflow.

“awesome support
Pros
Support from my team is awesome. I usually get a response back within a day.
Cons
At first, it was tricky to figure out who I was supposed to talk to for different issues. I'm getting the hang of it now, though.

“A true business partner
Pros
People make all the difference. You can find similar features elsewhere but you won't find a team like this. They really take the time to learn about my business and help me meet my goals, like saving money or making things easier for my employees. They feel more like a partner than just a vendor. Having everything, payroll, benefits & time tracking in one place is fantastic for cutting down on the number of systems I have to use. It's user-friendly, I can customize a lot and the customer support is great.
Cons
The payroll tax team can be slow to get back to us and we usually have to follow up alot of times to get a tax notice resolved. Also, the new version still doesn't have all the features the old one did, so our managers are always switching back and forth.

“user-friendly but technically sensitive
Pros
For me, its pretty user friendly and easy to find your way around. The support from Magnify Payroll has been really great.
Cons
The font is a bit small and the buttons are pretty unresponsive, I often have to click multiple times to get anything to work.

“Paperless, faster & more affordable
Pros
isolved is simple to get started with. They're always rolling out new features and improving the old ones. We've managed to go completely paperless because of it and have cut our payroll processing time in half. Onboarding new hires is easy now. Plus, it costs less than most of the other big HR and payroll companies.
Cons
I really don't have any complaints, other than the fact that they don't process payroll for Canada.

“great platform but needs more flexibility
Pros
Easy to get the hang of. The customer service is excellent and the support team gets back to you really fast. They're even able to handle special payroll requests on short notice.
Cons
I wish the report writer was more flexible. It would be great if I could create more kinds of reports for HR data. You can customize them a bit but having more control would be a huge help.

“hoped for one-stop shop, got a nightmare
Pros
I thought using them as a "one stop shop" would really align things for our very small HR team.
Cons
I find just about everything difficult to use. The HRIS side is particularly challenging. It's been almost impossible to find an expert who understands our City's unique structure. We need a workaround for almost every part of the system to make it function for our needs. It's definitely not user-friendly unless you have an IT background

“too many mistakes
Pros
They handled our payroll reports but didn't give us the total support we expected because they arent the full-service PEO we thought they were.
Cons
they made way too many mistakes. One time, payroll was a whole day late simply because they didn't tell us they never received the file we uploaded.
