Laserfiche speeds up workflows and cuts down on time and effort by automating routine tasks. Plus it keeps files well organized, is easy and secure to use and connects with a variety of other systems.

That said my experience has highlighted downsides like the high price, occasional slow responses from technical support, missing features in the cloud version, a steep learning curve that takes time to master and confusing complexity around licenses and extensions.

Sometimes it jumps in more than I'd like during the process but most of its signals are reliable and often give me useful things to think about before moving forward.

Pros

Switching to electronic archiving has been a great way to cut costs on things like storage, paper and printing. Using it through Pioneers also makes me feel my records are safer as it is more secure and better protected against cyberattacks.

It can be slower than expected when I am working with large amounts of data. Plus a missing database index seems to affect the speed and accuracy of calculations which makes some tasks painfully slow when dealing with big repositories.

One thing I appreciated most about Laserfiche is the way it helped our team get better at storing specific types of information making those records much more accessible.

Pricing was the part I liked least, though to be fair you usually get what you pay for and overall I remain quite satisfied with the value.

somethiing I really love about this app is the online tool that lets me create PDFs directly through its web-based functionality. I also like the offline mode because it lets me work with the app and generate my PDFs even when I'm not connected to the internet.

Learning and setting it up was pretty complicated especially since I am not experienced with document management systems. So it took time to get through the steep learning curve.

What I like most about it is its security and compliance capabilities which make sure sensitive documents stay well protected.

The thing I like least about it is the pricing setup as it's not very transparent, so I often have to reach out to the sales team directly to get a quote.

It is not very user friendly and I think we could get a lot more out of it. Also learning the system has been difficult and many of its features remain unused because I don't know how to use them.

It's a compact scanning tool that uploads directly to the cloud. Setup was also quick and with proper IT support, installation was simple and fast.

When I used it between 2018 and 2020, I didn't like how many steps still had to be done manually. for example, there was no quick-save option. Plus sometimes scans would get corrupted and I would not find out until after the whole batch was done.

We rely on it to organize and manage our entire workflow by scheduling tasks and we can upload and submit documents for everyone on the team to view at any time.

There was a noticeable learning curve during the transition as I had to carefully check that all our information moved over correctly into the new system.

Their team is the best to collaborate with. As they really knew how to configure everything, patiently guided me through the setup and stayed reachable whenever I needed help resolving any problems.

It was not really a problem with the product but we did notice that some users occasionally had trouble scanning documents correctly. In my experience that was more about training gaps than an issue with the software.

Pros

Laserfiche brought order to our messy design documents. Plus the automated workflows have cut down a lot of admin work and made daily operations much easier.

Cons

Sometimes the search tool does not find items when you use different spellings or related terms which can make finding documents frustrating and time-consuming.
