Team collaboration speeds up tasks

Pros

We use this software to bring our team together and it helps us knock out tasks quickly and properly!

Cons

Configuring workflows is complicated and often needs help from CDI to get it right.

packed with many useful metrics

Pros

It is really easy to assign tasks to different people and it provides useful metrics on how long an entire business process takes as well as how long individual employees spend on specific tasks for example, filling out a document. I am also quite pleased with the built-in drag and drop functionality for creating surveys and I like that the collected responses are saved directly within Laserfiche.

Cons

Getting started was pretty hard for me as the onboarding process and learning the system felt challenging. Also some sections had labels that were not very clear, so it wasn't always easy to understand what each part was for.

Exceptional practical training delivery

Pros

Our service rep, Chynna, is exceptional as she really knows the software inside out and delivers training that's practical and effective.

Cons

For our team, it does not integrate well with our other record-keeping systems. There is no issue with support as it's just the softwares limitations that cause the problems.

Search finds vendors instantly

Pros

Searching feature is the best. As even though we were looking for a vendor we had not contacted in years, just typing a simple word like bench instantly found their name.

Cons

I wish the system allowed me to scan documents and automatically fill specific fields to help with records retention.

The product's interface is really user-friendly when I am managing its various functions.

Convenient storage saves physical space

Pros

Storing documents in Laserfiche for future use is much more convenient and it saves the physical space that paper would take up. Also it is really easy to pull up any file I need whenever I want!

Cons

Occasionally I notice some links break like the Snapshot feature failing to load at times. It doesn't happen frequently but it does pop up now and then.

Safety net catches missing details

Pros

What I really like about Laserfiche is how easy it is to use. Moving files around is simple too. And a separate window lets me add details about each file, so I can find them later without searching through everything. I also like that if I forget to enter the right info, the file still goes into a folder so I can open it later and fix it. That safety net saves me time.

Cons

I'd like the software to offer a feature that prevents me from uploading or transferring duplicate files in the first place.

Strong storage with unreliable sharing

Pros

I really like the storage capacity and the overall setup of the environment, along with its strong capabilities for organizing and managing documents effectively.

Cons

In my experience, the document sharing methods are unreliable and perform very poorly which has negatively affected collaboration.

Individual folders for quick lookup

Pros

Every staff member gets their own folder, so I can quickly locate anyone's records when I need to look them up.

Cons

It would be much more helpful if I could assign filenames I'll recognize later. Right now, the system auto-names files based on the subfolder plus the date which makes it harder to spot what I'm looking for.

way too simple to set up

Pros

The workflow management feels seamless as it's pretty easy to set up permissions and kick off new forms.

Cons

My take is that the front end could use some polishing to become a bit more user-friendly.
