It might be a misconception on my part but it would be valuable if I could input an employee's availability and their unavailable days would automatically reflect on the weekly schedule.

The most impactful aspect of MakeShift for our hospital is that employees can view their schedules and make requests without needing to call the staffing office or contact the unit. They can also swap shifts and request trades through the app and we can send announcements and individual messages as needed.

I would greatly appreciate the ability to view the history of removed shifts from employees' schedules and the option to reenable a trade if an accidental decline occurs and the dates are forgotten.

MakeShift has significantly improved my scheduling experience offering easy access and compatibility across various devices. We primarily use it for our contractual employees and I find it very userfriendly for creating and distributing schedules based on weeks months or a specific number of days. Mobile access realtime updates scheduling communication and integration with ADP are some of the standout features of this software.

While I highly recommend it I'd prefer the app to notify me when someone wants to exchange shifts in addition to its current feature of notifying about available shifts.
