Buggy features and unhelpful support

Pros

I should have read reviews first so I don't make such a mistake. However the idea sounded great I mean for about $20 I can post my jobs to many job boards.

Cons

Well, I did not know how buggy and unreliable their platform actually is as core features often fail or don't behave as expected. When I reached out for help I felt like I was getting ignored. Plus support repeatedly told me to make changes or follow steps that were confusing and did not address the problem which left me frustrated and no closer to a solution.

affordable and efficient for workflows

Pros

It is pretty affordable considering what comes with it. The layout is also modern and easy to get the hang of. Overall it is really an efficient method for managing job listings and workflows. And I must say it's a great value for money and noticeably more functional than other tools we have used.

Cons

One thing that puzzles me is that the database is so large but does not present the most relevant matches. Also I had to follow up several times to get help and after we signed up the support team went quiet. I even noticed that integration options were fairly limited compared with what I expected.

User-friendly with fair pricing

Pros

Manatal is very user-friendly and easy to set up. Also its interface is tidy and uncluttered so the learning curve has beenvery little than with other ATS products I have used. Plus the LinkedIn sync and candidate enrichment tools are genuinely helpful for sourcing. Moreover team collaboration flows well thanks to notes and pipeline stages and overall the pricing feels very fair for the capabilities included.

Cons

The reporting and analytics are pretty basic compared with what you'd get from enterprise-level ATS solutions. Also I wish there were more flexible customization for workflows and dashboards. The mobile app does the job but it is not the best for heavy day to day use.

Reliable, easy, great support

Pros

As Recruitment Operations Support at JB Hired I rely on it almost daily to monitor and update our candidate pipeline. The platform is reliable with only the occasional minor glitch and moving candidates through stages is pretty easy too. It also links easily with tools we use every day like LinkedIn which saves time. Best of all support is responsive and available whenever I need assistance which gives me real peace of mind.

Cons

Although there's a built-in refresh button I still prefer using my browser's refresh. This means after importing a candidate from LinkedIn I still have to click the in-app refresh to see the new information which feels redundant.

Pros

It is amazing and easy to use. Overall it's saved me a lot of time and offers very effective tracking capabilities.

Cons

For smaller companies it might be challenging to navigate and personally I would like additional customization features being made available.

Easy management with excellent integration

Pros

Using the Kanban view makes managing candidates incredibly easy for me. The job board integration is excellent too so I hardly ever need to source candidates because the applicants I get are high quality. I also think their pricing is very fair.

Cons

I'm frustrated that I can't recover archived jobs. I mean once I archive a position it's gone for good. Also the workflow for posting promoted job ads is unnecessarily clunky and takes too many steps.

pretty affordable compared to alternatives

Pros

For the price it's definitely more affordable compared with a lot of the other ATS solutions out there especially when you consider the range of features included. It offers solid functionality without the steep cost which makes it a really accessible and sustainable choice.

Cons

Yes there are a few things. I don't like their resume reader social media enrichment tool or resume scoring. When it reads names it keeps the full name together and does not separate first and last so I have to fix it myself. This makes emails to candidates say Hi, first and last name instead of addressing them properly. I have asked for this fix repeatedly but they did not which is frustrating as it seems easy to fix. Also the user interface is quite plain. I mean I know the product is inexpensive but many other ATS platforms offer nicer and better options.

Paid upfront, no access, no refund

Pros

None. I have not been able to use it at all yet I was still charged for it.

Cons

They made me pay up front and then I could not do anything for days while they supposedly verified my account. It's already been a week and I am fed up with them. They won't even refund me and I haven't been able to use the service the entire time.

inconsistent features and frustrating workflow

Pros

I like that candidates are grouped together under each job. Also it is convenient that I can drag and drop them from one stage or category to the next with minimal effort but that's all.

Cons

Many features are inconsistent and admin notifications are unreliable so we can't track what other admins do. The inbox workflow is also frustrating because I cannot click a message to go straight to a candidate's profile instead I have to search for them separately. Replying to emails is also confusing. I can't reply to a specific message in a thread and often don't know which message the reply button will attach to. Also we've had ongoing problems importing resumes from Indeed, requiring manual uploads and even when they come in some don't show under the resume tab. Our Indeed screening questions are not imported either, forcing us to copy them into notes manually. Overall the platform feels unstable and has left my team disappointed.

Pros

Getting started was not a problem and I like that it works well with tools like Outlook and LinkedIn. I can also access it from any device and feel it delivers strong value for the price.

Cons

It loads slowly for me and I need a consistently stable internet connection to use it properly.

poor support for data migration

Pros

For $35 per month it is a budget-friendly option if you're searching for a low-cost choice.

Cons

Well it is frustrating because it seems like only one person is running things so technical support is almost non-existent. We even tried to move our JSON file and got poor support. Our database has about 4,000 candidates and their JSON export isn't in the right format which made a clean migration impossible. So if you plan to move your data, I would advise against it.

The system offers no support

Pros

It is really easy to use and packed with some nice features.

Cons

Honestly I couldn't get the system to work at all without support. AS it requires hands-on help to function and I couldn't figure it out by myself. And yes they claim support but in my experience there was none available and I was left without any real assistance to resolve the problem. During my 14 day trial I uploaded my client data and the results were incorrect so I needed help fixing it. Nine days passed with no actual solution, only repeated canned replies like thanks for your patience, we will get back to you which didn't help me move forward.

manages the full hiring workflow

Pros

This cloud-based platform makes recruiting much easier by offering a user friendly interface where candidates can browse multiple job boards, upload their resumes and generate more applications. From my experience this all in one solution simplifies the full hiring workflow and I often recommend it to fellow recruiters who want a smoother, more efficient candidate selection process.

Cons

At one point I noticed the application stopped working and became unresponsive which was frustrating. However after a while it recovered and returned to normal operation.

Competitively priced with easy interface

Pros

For my needs this tool offers nearly all the features I'd want in recruitment software. Plus it comes at a very competitive price and the interface is pretty easy to use.

Cons

I have not run into any issues yet. And after such a good experience with it I've been recommending it to colleagues and contacts in my professional circles. At first I was skeptical because the price seemed unusually low but now that I'm using it I realize I was paying far more for older systems before.

efficient resume management and job posting

Pros

It is really easy to manage resumes and applications with Manatal. As it lets me quickly sort, search and group candidates by different criteria which saves a lot of time. Beyond that, posting job listings is not a problem as I can push openings to multiple job boards in just a few clicks instead of doing everything manually. The interview scheduling tool is also handy making it simple to set up and track interviews and taking a lot of the administrative load off my plate.

Cons

The software is more expensive than some other recruitment and talent management platforms which is a downside for smaller companies or teams working with tight budgets. Also while it includes a wide array of features and tools, the platform can feel a bit complex to use if your team doesn't have strong technical resources or you are a smaller organization.

This software is very good at helping a company screen and select candidates. And since it's cloud-based, it is easier for job seekers to see all the job portals, attach their CV and send more applications. The interface is very easy to use too and clearly shows the whole selection process for any job opening.

Cons

On one particular occasion the application crashed and stopped working but after I waited a good while everything eventually went back to normal.

Custom pipelines for diverse hiring needs

Pros

What I love most is the custom job pipeline as it's fantastic. My team and I can set up unlimited pipelines and recruitment stages in just a few clicks which saves us a lot of setup time. And since the roles we hire for are for many industries and levels such as from entry-level and mid-career to executive positions, each opening needs a different workflow. So having full control to tailor each pipeline to the specific job really feels like a huge advantage for us.

Cons

One annoying limitation is that archived candidates don't show up in search results. I mean I'd love to be able to find them directly via the search bar. But right now I have to unarchive a profile before I can locate it which is inconvenient and slows down my workflow when I'm reviewing past applicants.

Our team came to the conclusion that Manatal has a broad set of features that make it much simpler to identify the best hiring channels. Before, creating monthly reports on metrics like ideal hiring times took hours but now the same reports are done in a few clicks. Overall it is very user-friendly and genuinely helps our team complete tasks faster and with better results.

Cons

I use it as both a dashboard widget and a dashboard app and it very well displays my emails, calendar events and folders. The widget can be dropped onto my home screen so I can quickly check messages whenever I need to which I appreciate. What would make it even more useful is a wider selection of dashboard widgets, for example one that shows the most recent emails in the inbox at a glance.

Modern, uncluttered, organized

Pros

From my perspective the candidate profile layout and the job pipeline both have a modern and uncluttered look. As I can quickly tell how many applicants I have for each role and I like that I can drag and drop candidates into whatever order suits me. Overall it is exactly what I personally needed to help organize my recruiting process.

Cons

At first I was worried I'd be limited to one scorecard per candidate like on other platforms. But I found that it actually allows me to set up multiple, distinct scorecards for different positions.
