Polished and simple video interviewing

Pros

I'm impressed with the platform's UX design, it's convenient and easy to get started with. Candidates also seem to enjoy the experience. After trying upwards of twenty other video interview services, I keep coming back to this one because it simply outperforms the rest in usability and polish.

Cons

As a small business that only interviews occasionally I find it hard to justify paying for a monthly plan when usage is infrequent and I'd personally like to see pay-as-you-go or on-demand options.

Quick setup with professional interviews

Pros

Getting started was incredibly easy: I can set up an interview and begin speaking with candidates almost immediately. The interviews look really polished, we added our branding and custom intro videos and it presents very professionally and reviewing responses is really simple. I've told several colleagues about it and it's quickly become a core part of my hiring workflow. Plus the support team has been fantastic, when I run into an issue they reply right away and get it fixed.

Cons

There are a few rough edges that I've noticed even though support responds quickly some candidates told me they had technical issues including interviews stretching over multiple days or recorded videos becoming corrupted or not arriving at all which forced me to contact support. I was also frustrated that after canceling the premium plan, access stopped entirely instead of reverting to the free tier.

Pre recorded interviews salign screening

Pros

For our company, having pre-recorded interviews built into the hiring workflow has been a game changer. The platform is so convenient that it feels like a no-brainer to plug it into our process. I really appreciate that I can watch a candidate's pre-recorded responses on my own time, it saves us a ton of time and energy by cutting down how many live interviews the hiring panel actually has to run. It aligns screening without sacrificing insight into candidates.

Cons

Honestly I don't have any complaints to mention overall which is refreshing.

Affordable ats integrated hiring tool

Pros

For me this tool is super easy to use, it's affordably priced, integrates tightly with our ATS and the team has been genuinely wonderful to collaborate with.

Cons

Earlier on I felt we needed more integrations but since the addition of Zapier that concern has disappeared and I now really value features like Slack alerts for video responses.

Smart candidate filtering with branding

Pros

This is a fantastic tool that helps us smartly narrow down candidates. It's really easy to use, lets me build email templates easily and add our own branding, overall I hold this product in very high regard.

Cons

One feature I'd love to have is the ability to search directly from the dashboard which would make navigation easier for me.

easy automation that saves hiring time

Pros

Using it I found the app extremely easy, the way it automates notifications and reminders made things much easier for me. It genuinely saved me a lot of time during the busiest hiring stretches!

Cons

So far I haven't found many downsides but I do wish there were more than ten preset questions available for certain roles since I often have to combine prompts to cover everything I need during an initial interview.

fast setup with simple branded experience

Pros

Getting set up was completely hassle-free and I quickly picked up the UI/UX because it's so convenient, it barely took any effort to get to grips with. That made it easy for me to bring other team members into the workflow and get them collaborating. I also love that we can tailor the platform with our own branding and videos, that personal touch has been a big win. Candidates have told me they appreciate how professional and easy to use the experience feels. On top of that, the team kindly lowered our monthly subscription to support our small student-led, non-profit university consultancy. I honestly can't recommend this software enough.

Cons

One thing I really wish the platform could do is automatically send candidates their video interview invite right after they fill out an application form. We're currently using Google Forms and it would be fantastic if the system could trigger the interview link as soon as someone submits the form. I'm spending a lot of time manually sending out those invitations to applicants and being able to automate that step would free up a significant amount of my time.

reliable video links with strong support

Pros

I find it runs without hiccups and automatically generates links for every video. The experience feels excellent for both candidates and evaluators and it syncs with our database on its own. The team also offers outstanding support!

Cons

I'd really like to be able to control video playback speed not only inside the app but also when sharing links. The integration URL itself is great but currently the support team has to set it up specifically for you. I'd prefer to build and manage that integration directly from the app's interface.

flexible asynchronous interviews for shift workers

Pros

When hiring from a shift-working cohort, I found that giving interviewees the ability to complete the interview at a time that suited them resulted in a far more efficient recruitment process overall. Using my interview significantly reduced the number of one-to-one encounters required to progress applicants through to the onboarding stage but because of the video introduction and question features the whole process still retained a personable, human feel to it.

Cons

We ran into a few issues getting videos to work consistently from various third-party platforms and bringing the audio quality in line across clips. Thankfully, the online support from my interview team was really helpful in sorting those problems out.

clear instructions with high quality video storage

Pros

As a regular user I've found the platform remarkably easy for everyone involved. It gives a lot of flexibility to tailor settings exactly how I want them and there are multiple ways to give users crystal-clear instructions. We mainly use it to run asynchronous interviews and candidates consistently understand the questions, the timing and everything else without problems. One of the features I appreciate most is that it stores videos in a searchable database and lets me organize clips into categories when necessary. The video quality is top-notch and processing and rendering happen quickly and efficiently.

Cons

Great tool but I did have some frustration early on because it sometimes took a while to get replies from customer support about certain questions. That's honestly my only real gripe and I can say they've gotten a lot better since then. Apart from that, I can't think of any real downsides, it's convenient to use and feels like a great, high-quality product.

Time saving screening add on

Pros

it is a really useful add-on and a genuine time-saver for my recruitment process. When I'm manually shortlisting candidates, it consistently helps me cut down the hours I spend on initial screening.

Cons

The feature set feels restricted to video only, I wish they would add more types of tests and functionality. As it stands, it's a nice extra to have but for me it doesn't cover everything needed for thorough shortlisting.

Affordable recruiting for early startups

Pros

As an early-stage start-up trying to find an affordable solution to align how we recruit Volunteer Consultants, myIterview has turned out to be exceptionally user-friendly and, most importantly, hasn't strained our tight budget at all.

Cons

Simple rollout with fair pricing

Pros

Rolling this out on our platform was simple and I noticed the charges for this feature weren't overly high which was a relief.

Cons

There is a problem where the custom integration doesn't completely connect with the self-service option so I'm still missing a linkage point.

cost effective early stage video screening

Pros

For the number of videos we needed to process, the platform proved extremely cost-effective. Using it during early screening with an uncapped subscription was ideal and I love that candidates don't need to download an app, everything flows smoothly.

Cons

When we use the platform directly rather than through our ATS and are recruiting continuously for a high-volume role, I find it challenging to manage previously rejected candidates in the pipeline stages without losing their video.

Quick custom video interviews

Pros

Creating my own questions, picking a template, inserting a video and sharing it via a single link has been very easy and easy to manage.

Cons

Unfortunately, there isn't any translation support, everything is presented in English. I'd really appreciate an option to toggle the interface into French, Spanish, German or other languages but I understand the app is English-only for now, I hope the team will add multilingual support sometime in the future.

Missing features with weak support

Pros

The UX/UI is clean and I can quickly share the platform with any hiring manager. Recording a video interview was simple for candidates too so it didn't feel complicated at all.

Cons

this platform is missing a lot of useful features that you'd expect and if I'm an Indian customer I'm likely to have big trouble reaching helpful support from them which is frustrating.

Poor support and billing experience

Pros

Installation and setup were amazingly quick. I discovered the tool through its Workable integration and I had everything running in under a day to meet urgent hiring needs.

Cons

I'd suggest they completely overhaul how they handle customer support and billing. The LiveChat status is often unreliable. For instance some days you'll get a message warning of delays, while other times (like today) the chat sits without being opened and there's no way to tell whether a support agent is actually online and available to respond.

faster hiring without phone screens

Pros

This tool has sped up our hiring pipeline significantly by replacing phone screens with video screens. Scheduling is so much easier and the pay-per-minute pricing helps our small business stretch the budget further.

Cons

It's not completely polished and once in a while (rarely) we run into issues where interview invites expire when they shouldn't though it's generally an easy thing to fix. The integration works well overall but could use a bit more refinement.
