“Simple platform that celebrates coworkers

Pros

Its simplicity is a big plus along with all the great benefits it offers. Out of everything, my absolute favorite thing is getting to acknowledge my coworkers efforts.

Cons

It is a great platform overall. One suggestion would be to introduce more challenges or rotate them out every month, so we'd have more ways to collect points.

“A fundamental and buzzing recognition hub

Pros

Nectar has turned into a fundamental part of how we appreciate our staff. Talking about Nectar points is now completely normal in our office conversations and our dedicated Slack channel is constantly buzzing with new posts praising each other.

Cons

Just a couple minor gripes such as sometimes GIFs or other attachments do not transfer properly from the main website over to our Slack channel. Also when I am signing in, it asks me to verify my device way more frequently than I'd prefer.

This tool lets our team give public compliments to other agents and help them feel valued for their effort. It also motivates all of us to support and celebrate our colleagues.

Cons

It often feels like we do not get a sufficient amount of points to distribute, which makes it tough to pick just one person when multiple coworkers have done great work and deserve recognition.

What's great is being able to highlight someones accomplishments on a company-wide level so that everyone can see and celebrate their success.

I could not find a way to generate a report showing past recognitions which would be helpful for spotting who consistently goes above and beyond.

Pros

Nectar is simply the best. We have been using it for close to three years and what I like the most is its simplicity. My teams use it every single day without any prompting. I mean it's just become a natural part of their routine. Keeping our employees engaged is a top priority for us.

Cons

We'd prefer to have more ways to customize the platform to our needs, such as customized automatic emails and announcements for updates related to our team's points.

Pros

It gives real value to encouraging your teammates and giving kudos, because those shout-outs come with actual rewards. It is also a easy to navigate and has lots of ways to personalize the messages you send to coworkers.

Cons

Rewards that are not gift cards need an excessive number of points, making them seem almost impossible to get. Also chances to earn bonus points are rare and do not come around very often.

Pros

Nectar HR is user friendly, simple to operate and genuinely helps improve how often people give recognition across the company. The app handles tagging people, assigning points and using company hashtags really well, which are features other apps often mess up.

Cons

There are not any true cons for me it's just that at times it feels a lot like other platforms in this space. If I had to mention something it might be the absence of automated prompts to encourage shoutouts especially ones tied to specific events and the reward catalog while fairly standard could be broader.

“Appealing concept of earning real rewards

Pros

For me the concept of earning real, useful rewards is really appealing. I think it creates a more productive workplace culture because you know that being a dedicated team member will be acknowledged and rewarded.

Cons

The social media-like aspect is not really my thing. My main issue though is the automatic posts about birthdays and work anniversaries but at least that setting can be disabled in the app itself.

Pros

I really enjoy using Nectar. It gives me a simple way to express my thanks and show appreciation for my colleagues. Also the website is easy to use and offers a good selection of gift cards and products to pick from when redeeming points.

Cons

Occasionally it is difficult to get logged back in after being automatically signed out. It would also be a nice improvement if our unused points carried over to the next month instead of expiring.

Getting points from both my bosses and teammates as a form of recognition is really enjoyable, especially since I can turn them into gift cards I will actually use!

Cons

Adding our nearby grocery stores as reward partners on it would be amazing so we could use our points to offset some of the extra expenses during the holidays.

Being able to give a shout-out to my colleagues and also receive appreciation from them is something I really like. The whole system makes sense and does not involve any complicated steps.

Cons

So far I honestly have not faced anything I dislike about it. The website is modern and has a really nice, attractive design.

Navigating the platform is not a problem and I am a big fan of all the different reward options. Also earning points and then redeeming them is a very simple and clear process.

There is nothing about the platform I have not enjoyed. My entire experience with it, from the beginning has been really positive.

Nectar provides a simple method to acknowledge the people and teams you work with. In today's environment, it can be tough for employees to feel valued but this tool lets me help my coworkers feel seen and I get to feel that way too. Redeeming rewards, like the gift cards is also hassle-free.

Cons

The one annoyance is how frequently it claims not to recognize my computer, even though it is almost always the same one. Having to repeatedly log in feels like overkill.

The selection of gift cards is amazing and super convenient to use. Overall the whole platform is very easy to figure out and even easier to get the hang of.

Cons

One thing I noticed is that locating the correct person to send points to can be tricky. With a company this large and many people having similar names, it was difficult to pick the right one from the list.

Nectar is a fantastic tool for spotlighting staff from every part of the company. It helps all of us feel a sense of achievement and connection, even when we are not physically seeing each other every day.

Sometimes the personal notes and messages of praise get buried in the activity feed by all the automated task completions and awards that staff can submit for approval.

The branded merchandise feels too expensive. I truly cannot think of much else to criticize so I am just adding a few extra words here to meet the required length.

Nothing specific about it itself comes to mind that I dislike. The only thing that bothers me is when co-workers do not bother to set up their profiles. Which means they are totally missing out on receiving recognition from the team.

The Team Collaboration features and the chance to give social recognition to my peers are what I enjoy most. On top of promoting wellness and activity, it offers a simple way to give your coworkers public praise or thanks.

Cons

I do not have any issues with it at all. I really like using it and getting to interact with colleagues from other departments that I do not normally work with.

What I love about Nectar is how it links every employee together and boosts engagement across the whole company. Staff can easily interact and show encouragement for one another right on the platform. The discounts and reward incentives you can earn are also really impressive.

Cons

From my experience the customer support team is a bit slow to respond when you need help or have an issue. So adding a live chat feature for instant answers would be a great improvement.
