“time tools easy for non-tech staff but tricky PTO accruals”
Pros
The time and attendance tools are great and they are super easy to use even for staff members who are not that tech savvy. The system is easy to manage which I really appreciate. Implementing it took a longer though since the private sector operates a bit differently than other industries.
Cons
PTO accruals, earning codes and reports have been tricky. As a non-profit our SOP is pretty unique compared to public sector companies so sometimes it felt like the reps weren't that helpful or just brushed off our concerns since it was not a common issue.

“good accrual system but delays in reports”
Pros
In my opinion the accrual system is awesome. Employees can request time off online so we don't have to deal with all the paper. The staff is friendly and the online help is pretty good too.
Cons
After nearly a year we still do not have our company taxes and quarterly reports right. The reports are often delayed which is frustrating.

“easy to learn, scheduler and mobile app need upgrades”
Pros
I am new to payroll but Netchex made it really easy to learn. Whenever I had questions someone was always there to help me out. The online training was super helpful too.
Cons
The Scheduler module really needs an upgrade. Also the mobile app could be more useful. If I need to call an employee I can quickly find their number but I have to close the app to make the call. It'd be way easier if I could just click the number to dial directly from the app.

Pros
It is absolutely amazing! It has every feature you could possibly need and the best part is that they all work flawlessly. From payroll management to time tracking everything is so well integrated and easy to use.
Cons
Although it works for us I still think this system is better suited for larger companies rather than small businesses like ours.

“Timecards easy to adjust”
Pros
timecards are incredibly easy to use and I can make any changes I need without running into any issues. It's so simple...whether I am adjusting hours or reviewing entries, everything is right at my fingertips.
Cons
the reporting structure could use some improvement. It's not as easy to use as it could be.

Cons
I wish employees had direct phone numbers in the system. It would make it a lot easier to get in touch with them.

Pros
The tutorials have been incredibly helpful in learning the system. It is super user-friendly and honestly it's one of the easiest systems I have ever learned. Plus the customer help has been amazing. I've always reached out to knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Cons
Only real downside so far is not being able to pull a full list of both terminated and active employees together. Also after creating a payroll grid sometimes it won't update correctly if changes are made.

“good ERP options but needs ATS and integration upgrades”
Pros
It offers multiple ERP options all in one platform and the pricing is reasonable compared to other competitors. Their support team is great and I have not had many issues with it.
Cons
UI is very basic and some of their tools don't quite match up to what other competitors offer. For example the ATS system NetRecruiter does not have texting, automation or screening features. It has also been slow to integrate with benefits systems and insurance vendors.

“great system but a bit buggy to use”
Pros
We have different pay scales for weekends and weekdays and it managed to figure that out when other software could not. It also integrates smoothly with our accounting system to push all the data to the GL which helps close out the year more easily. The support team is always on top of fixing any glitches we run into.
Cons
Layout of the screens is not as user-friendly as other software systems I have used. Locking out individual employees one at a time takes about 12 clicks and I have to go back through multiple screens to find the next manager. It's a bit of a problem every week. Some things are super easy to use but others are not. Implementing the system was a huge project but they dedicated more resources to it than we did internally so I am not planning to switch anytime soon! Plus their ongoing subscription costs are really competitive compared to other software options.

It has everything we need for employees... timekeeping, demographics, compensation and licensure. It's so easy to build reports and find exactly what I'm looking for.
Cons
Every once in a while it lags and some buttons won't work. It does not happen often but it's a bit annoying when it does.

Customer service is fantastic. I never have to wait long to talk to an agent and they always resolve my issues right on the call or shortly after.
Cons
I am not a fan of the company calendar options, they don't seem to work very well. I also have trouble with the "move to pay" feature when trying to account for employee PTO.
