Knowledgeable team

Pros

I found their team extremely professional from start to finish. The onboarding process was incredibly smooth, the platform is user-friendly and the integration with our HCM and ERP worked flawlessly.

Cons

Overall everything from onboarding through ongoing use went smoothly and I don't have any critical suggestions for improvement at this time.

Happy with it!

Pros

Working with clients, vendors and employees scattered across the globe makes keeping up with payments, taxes and compliance very difficult but Papaya Global has turned that whole process into something effortless and even enjoyable. I feel very fortunate to have found them this year and I wish I'd discovered them much earlier.

Cons

My only regret is that I didn't come across them sooner. I really wish I'd had access to a tool like this for many years prior, it would have made such a difference.

Improved our operations

Pros

I appreciate having a single point of contact, it keeps processes aligned across different regions so everything follows the same timeline. The workflow is smooth and making payments is really convenient. It makes global payroll management smooth. Their professional support team and fast same-day payment options have greatly improved how we run operations for our international staff. Being able to manage employees and contractors with ease has added much-needed efficiency to our payroll workflows.

Cons

There are no downsides to this product.

Impressive service

Pros

What impresses me most is the level of service and their reliability. I've worked with it across several different companies and each engagement has felt reliably strong. The team truly adopts a white-glove approach, proactively reaching out, responding quickly and bringing deep expertise in global payroll and compliance. They rarely just react to problems. Instead they anticipate issues, offer clear, practical guidance and take ownership of outcomes. For leadership groups, that kind of partnership provides real peace of mind and noticeably cuts down on operational noise.

Cons

To be honest I haven't seen any serious drawbacks. As with any large-scale global operation, a few edge cases do arise from time to time yet they're managed professionally and the support team resolves them promptly, keeping disruptions minimal.

simplifies payroll

Pros

When I use payroll as a go-to example, there really isn't a clearer way to show how simple it's Workforce OS makes handling employees across different countries. I also appreciate that it aligns work burdens and pay cycles for the various kinds of employees without any gaps whatsoever.

Cons

Occasionally the system can struggle with the paperwork related to employees' payroll structures in certain cases.

Tidy interface and helpful support team

Pros

For our global operations, it is outstanding at handling payroll across multiple currencies which is indispensable. Its compliance tools make sure we meet all local laws and regulations so I feel much more at ease. The platform's clean interface and strong automation have cut down a lot of our admin tasks. Their support team is quick, well-informed and always willing to help.

Cons

The first setup was somewhat complicated and took a while though the customer support team guided me through the process and was quite helpful every step of the way. On the flip side, I'd really like to have more flexibility when it comes to customizing reports.

Customer Services needs a lot of improvement

Pros

Unfortunately, I had high hopes when starting with Papaya, but the customer service rapidly declined after the initial setup. We only used the payroll function for four months before switching back to our previous vendor.

Cons

Their customer service is extremely lacking. Additionally, dealing with different time zones posed a problem. We're located in the US, managing payroll for employees in Korea, and our assigned customer service representative was in Australia.

Professional staff

Pros

What I appreciate most is that they've assigned a dedicated payroll specialist to support our team someone who's constantly reachable. Whenever we have questions or concerns, they respond promptly and handle things with a high level of professionalism.

Cons

I can't think of anything I dislike. The support team consistently resolves any issues quickly and they handle problems efficiently so I rarely face any frustrations.

Responsive support team

Pros

I've found them to be a solid EOR and their customer support team never makes me wait. They always answer my questions quickly.

Cons

Personally I think the price is too high. I'd like it a lot more if the fees were a bit cheaper.

Not a fan of the hidden fees

Pros

My onboarding lead was fantastic, really quick to reply and clearly knew her stuff.

Cons

I'm annoyed by the unexpected fees they sneak in. I'm not a fan of that at all and I also can't view my PTO balances anywhere.

Its been a gamechanger

Pros

Whenever we send an email whether it's a question or something else someone always steps in to handle it. The responses or final results come back on time every time. Our payroll outsourcing would have been such a mess if we hadn't brought it on board. Really grateful to them!

Cons

I've run into a few bumps when it comes to coordinating with the other party to the contract. I know those issues aren't their fault but are on the counterparty. Still, I can tell Papaya is doing everything they can to coordinate and sort things out. I appreciate that effort.

simple to set up

Pros

It's an excellent company that provides a very practical and efficient solution especially for teams that hire across multiple countries. It covers a large number of countries and the platform itself is friendly and simple to set up. The customer success team comes across as personable, is easy to reach, replies quickly and genuinely tries to help with whatever is needed.

Cons

One area where I'd like to see improvement is the speed of mediation with local third-party companies, a quicker coordination process would be welcome. That said because they often have to act as an intermediary, those interactions are inherently more complicated so it's difficult to single out any particular party as the cause of delays.

Brilliant service

Pros

Our pre-sales and setup experience was very smooth and the platform was rolled out without any difficulty. The customer support we've received since has been excellent, notably quickness in responding to queries.

Cons

Handling unfamiliar labor markets is tricky and at times I wish their team would share more concrete recommendations when we set up new projects. Additionally, we're still working through various peculiarities around paying expense claims and the tax treatment of those payments in different countries across the globe.

User-friendly features

Pros

For a client like us with employees across multiple countries, I find the portal's onboarding and payroll tools exceptionally user-friendly. Submitting monthly expenses and making payroll adjustments is simple because everything on the portal is laid out clearly and logically. The customer success managers assigned to our accounts in the EU, Canada and APAC have been very responsive and competent. They walk us through features during initial training and remain available to help whenever questions come up.

Cons

Overall I have been very happy with the services it has provided to us so far.

Outstanding service specialists

Pros

We've been lucky to work with incredible service specialists from the beginning, the one assigned when we started and the current rep after two years have both been amazing. Because we have a single, direct point of contact who meets with us weekly and follows up with concise summary emails, everything stays organized and manageable. We genuinely collaborate as a single team and it often feels like it is an extension of our own company. Having a go-to person who consistently goes above and beyond matters a lot to us. The platform itself is simple to use and thanks to it we were suddenly able to bring colleagues on board from all over the world.

Cons

I did notice a few bumps when they were reshuffling their internal teams which caused some temporary confusion for us but those issues were resolved.
