huge time saver overall

Pros

As a user I really appreciate being able to work across multiple platforms, especially the QuickBooks and LinkedIn integrations and I also love that I can use the capture tool whenever I need to grab something quickly.

Cons

Sometimes the updates introduce noticeable slowdown and I find that can be pretty frustrating when I'm trying to get work done quickly.

honest, solid ATS choice

Pros

What I really like is how smoothly it syncs with LinkedIn and ZoomInfo and how easily I can add contacts into the PCR database with a single click. I also find the duplicate-detection feature very useful. Overall I think PCR is an effective way for me to organize and manage my recruiting database.

Cons

Wish there were an easier way for me to export or pull names out of the database but I'm not sure what changes that would require. At the moment my workaround is to populate as many searchable fields as possible so I can filter by the details I expect to need later on.

good system with untapped potential

Pros

I've found that it handles everything I need from accessing specialized databases and tracking progress to managing bulk email sends. The features are solid and make those tasks easy to include in my day-to-day workflow.

Cons

That said it can be a bit cumbersome sometimes and I often have to spend extra time learning how new features work. Getting fully comfortable with everything usually takes longer than I anticipated.

easy to find what you need

Pros

Our team's appreciation for PCRecruiter's clean layout and simple controls lets new recruiters become productive quickly with very little software training, I also value that it allows our 25+ recruiters to easily collaborate across hundreds of active searches and ongoing workflows.

Cons

I find PCRecruiter's search features decent yet there is clear room for improvement. If I could start over I would recommend we add standard fields for Education, Industry Experience and Titles. Doing so would allow our team to search PCR more effectively without depending so much on keywords.

strong for executive search

Pros

I've found its functionality lets me access and pull up every important candidate or client record, new or archived, through multiple methods so nothing ever really gets 'lost'. From the simple, core tools to the more detailed, granular options, PCRecruiter has been a dependable and effective business solution for us over nearly 14 years.

Cons

After using it for 14 years, I haven't found any real downsides, the product keeps improving and still does so I can't really point to any 'negatives' at this time.

highly customizable and reliable

Pros

What I appreciate most about PCR is how it can be tailored to fit my needs. I can customize dashboards and add or remove fields which makes organizing data much easier for a database that contains so much information.

Cons

While I don't have major complaints about the software, I will say it takes some training to become comfortable with, especially for administrators (as with most systems). Once I learn it though, it's fairly simple and the support team is always available to assist.

reliable for recruiters and managers

Pros

I've found the software to be very adaptable, it's continuously evolving to meet our expanding requirements. Customizing menus and different areas of the site is simple which saves me time and boosts my workflow productivity. Although it's simple enough for people with little technical background to pick up quickly, I also appreciate that it's smart and flexible enough for more tech-savvy users to take full advantage of its features.

Cons

I think the mobile app is still pretty early in its development and I would like to see it receive continual improvements. My main piece of feedback is simply to keep enhancing and refining it over time.

impressive integrations & dependable

Pros

I'm impressed by how fast every single page loads. Integrations with partners like RingCentral, Outlook and our website job board are genuinely impressive. We've tried Fleetware and TalentAPP and even evaluated Bullhorn. In the end we picked PCR because it's dependable and powerful and I feel it offers excellent value for the cost. Additionally the customer support team was fantastic and handled every issue or concern during our entire integration process smoothly.

Cons

For me entering new client companies into the system can be time-consuming. I wish there was a tool that could pull data from Google and populate PCR's company fields.

Easy to use

Pros

We've found the add-ons and the ability to rapidly add candidates from both a sales pipeline and a recruitment viewpoint really helpful, because it lets us spot a person and record them almost immediately. Once they're in, I can jot down notes, reach out quickly and then move on to the next prospect without any fuss. That speed makes tracking and following up feel effortless for our team.

Cons

I really like the recruiting features but I find the sales pipeline and the reporting tools somewhat lacking compared to the recruitment side. Still, I do use this platform for sales and have figured out a few clever workarounds that make the gaps manageable. In fact, I rely on it every day as my go-to tool for hunting new business.

Great for recruiters at any scale

Pros

Although I'm not a technical expert in databases I find this system very easy to use and there aren't many steps when I add information about our candidates or clients into the database.

Cons

One issue for me is that we have to customize the database before I can easily search for candidates we've already entered which adds extra setup work.

Best recruiter CRM overall

Pros

I really appreciate how simple and user-friendly the software is. The interface makes it simple for me to handle and monitor every applicant and I find that PCR has played a real role in helping me meet our organizational targets, benefits I expect will keep paying off for years to come.

Cons

For me reopening a position is more tedious than it needs to be. I have to close the existing job, copy it, create a new opening and then move all current applicants into that new posting, the whole sequence feels cumbersome and could be organized.

Simple system that grows with you

Pros

It is great how much you can customize the platform, practically every setting or feature can be adjusted or tailored so it fits our organization's specific workflows and preferences.

Cons

That said there is a fairly steep learning curve with this tool, getting comfortable with all its capabilities took me a while and required repeated use although the effort eventually proved worthwhile. At the moment it lacks integrations with certain third-party services such as Glassdoor but they told me there are a few integrations being developed.

Highly customizable

Pros

I appreciate that the app gives multiple ways to accomplish the same task, having that flexibility is really helpful. The alarm feature also appears reliable most of the time which I find reassuring.

Cons

Occasionally I notice it lags or times out when I'm juggling too many actions at once. It would be great if people's profiles had an autosave option so work isn't lost.

helpful for candidate location

Pros

Well I really like the 'all phone' option because it helps me figure out the areas candidates are in, seeing their city and state is especially useful when I'm narrowing down searches.

Cons

Personally I'm not a fan of how, when company information is auto-populated, it ends up on the personal side instead of the company section which makes the profiles messy.

Everyday tool with quirks

Pros

For our team PCRecruiter brings together a call plan the search pipeline and scheduling into one unified platform. I find that it keeps us organized and stops us from accidentally stepping on one another.

Cons

Honestly when I first started using the system I didn't find it very simple. For example scheduling a call versus marking an activity can be confusing and I often mixed up adding a future call to my calendar with marking that I had already called someone.

Strong platform once you learn it

Pros

What I like most about this software is being able to record interactions. I really appreciate the wide range of specific options it offers and I can also choose which stage of the interaction I'm at with different people. That level of control helps me consistently keep track of conversations and follow-ups.

Cons

So far I haven't run into any major problems with this software. A few times it has prevented me from marking a new file as a "candidate" file and that small issue has been frustrating when I'm trying to organize things quickly.

Excellent daily recruiting tool

Pros

I'm really impressed by how simple this software is, it's simple enough that I can usually figure things out on my own. It did take me some time to become comfortable because there are so many features but overall it's incredibly useful.

Cons

From my perspective the overall design feels dated sometimes the interface makes me think I'm using a 90s-era program purely based on looks. Another thing that bugs me is that the 'Country' field doesn't carry over when data is imported from HQ for adding new employee names.

simple import and project tracking

Pros

One thing I really appreciate is how simple it is to import candidates and keep tabs on multiple projects. Once you set up the reports they deliver useful insights. I feel this platform is scalable enough that my firm could expand without needing to switch tools.

Cons

It's not as simple as I'd hoped. I had to spend time learning certain features to get them to work correctly.

Scales well as you grow

Pros

I've found the interface quite user-friendly and there are so many PCR features available that if you invest time exploring and experimenting you'll quickly see how useful the tool truly is. In my experience roll-ups are simple to work with and recent updates have made it even simpler to organize and sort those items when needed for different workflows.

Cons

Sometimes it can lag quite a bit which is frustrating when I'm trying to work quickly but I will say that over the last year or so I've seen a significant improvement in performance across the platform.
