“Solid ATS at a fair price
Pros
I find PCRecruiter very easy to navigate and I feel the pricing is quite reasonable for what you get.
Cons
When we added custom fields we didn't realize they'd lack "smart" behavior. As a result we've discovered they're not as practical or useful as the built-in fields.

“Powerful but visually outdated
Pros
I find it simple to locate candidates and to keep their records well organized which saves me time during recruiting.
Cons
However I've noticed there are way too many drop-down menus instead of a simple search option and that ends up slowing me down. When I add a new position, the job description editor acts unpredictably with word-processor features, I'll highlight a section to turn into bullets and somehow a different part becomes bulleted so I then have to spend extra time fixing the formatting. A few other quirks in that editor also create unnecessary additional work and frustration.

“Easy to find everything
Pros
I'm really fond of how simple this software is to use.
Cons
There is occasional lag though I think it might be due to my internet.

“Strong value for executive search
Pros
Having used PCRecruiter twice now, I'm using it as an owner for the first time and I find the value and customer support to be excellent. I've tried other systems in the past and because entering data is so simple, it quickly became my preferred choice.
Cons
Although PCR Capture has a few software glitches that need ironing out, I'm generally satisfied and appreciate that they take customer feedback seriously. I would also welcome more in-depth training that guides users on how to optimally set up PCRecruiter.

“Flexible and mostly reliable
Pros
What I really love about PCRecruiter is how it can be tailored to suit a company's specific needs and preferences. I find it remarkably simple to set up and to include as many features or options in the software as required. It's easy to navigate and I rarely encounter problems.
Cons
In my experience the capture tools don't always behave the way I want them to and there have been times when I have to verify the captured information because it can end up scattered or incorrect if I'm not careful. I've also seen that after certain updates the capture tool has conflicted with some sourcing websites and it has taken the team a while to identify and fix the problem.

“Good for organization, weak search
Pros
I find Roll-Ups really simple for keeping candidate records organized and I can easily add new job postings into the system, I also appreciate that entering candidate details into their files is simple and stays neatly formatted.
Cons
However the search feature frustrates me: I can only look up candidates who were officially registered with our agency and if someone applied through another platform like Indeed, they won't appear in PCR search results even when their resume was parsed into the system. Because of that limitation, I end up having to open and check each live job posting to find any new applicants which takes a lot of time. On top of that, many candidates effectively get lost when their profiles aren't coded precisely, for example, if they're filed under the wrong job title or missing a software skill, so it's easy for qualified people to slip through the cracks.

“flexible and dependable
Pros
For me the main advantage is how flexible it is in letting you build project plans that map out a pipeline funnel for activities from sourcing all the way through to deal close. I also really like its Outlook plugin (Windows only).
Cons
I do feel it's missing a full-fledged CRM for tracking relationships, keeping historical touchpoints and reminding me to follow up.

“easy automation with solid integrations
Pros
I find it really simple to connect with LinkedIn, RingCentral and Outlook. Their automation plans are a nice touch that help organize my workflow.
Cons
It's frustrating that I can't select multiple signatures when composing emails which is something I'd like to see added.

“Good quality for the price
Pros
What I really like is how simple it is to pull up candidates who meet the exact qualifications for our open positions. Being able to run keyword searches saves me so much time and it frees our recruiters to focus on higher-value work instead of manual filtering.
Cons
That said I feel there are too many steps in the hiring process for general labor and manufacturing applicants. Even so it's a strong tool overall and I expect it will cut down on time spent.

“easy to use and upload
Pros
I've found this to be one of the simplest ATS platforms I've ever used, I really like how effortless it is to upload candidate profiles and company records.
Cons
My main issue is that it's not very accommodating for Mac users. I use a Mac computer and can't sync or integrate it with my Microsoft Office email client which forces me to use the built-in email in PC Recruiter in order to receive and manage candidates who apply through the system.
