“customizable and good value
Pros
I found the best part was being able to customize forms, workflows and data fields so they matched my team's specific processes. Because of that flexibility our team ran more efficiently and could better support candidates at every stage of the recruitment funnel.
Cons
For me the least appealing part of PCrecruiter has been the interface as many functions are tucked behind extra steps and I found the onboarding for new users can take quite a while.

“customizable and recruiter friendly
Pros
The best part was being able to customize forms, workflows and data fields so they matched my team's specific processes. That level of tailoring helped our group run more smoothly and made it easier for me and the rest of the team to consistently support candidates at every stage of the recruitment funnel.
Cons
I found the interface to be the weakest part of PCRecruiter. Many features are tucked behind extra steps to reach and I noticed the learning curve for new users can be fairly long and somewhat challenging to get over.

“Great for in-house hiring
Pros

“awesome support
Pros
From my perspective the candidate tracking and reporting features are excellent but what really stood out was my trainer. He was knowledgeable and patient with me. He walked me through reporting and also covered the fundamental basics which helped a lot.
Cons
Honestly I think the client reports need to be more like the candidate tracking reports to be truly useful.

“Once I trained it was great.
Pros
The candidate tracking and reporting features are excellent, but what truly made a difference for me was my knowledgeable and patient trainer. They taught me everything from reporting to the basics, and I greatly appreciate their guidance.
Cons
I wish the client reports were more similar to the candidate tracking. It would be great to have consistency in that aspect.

“managing all the details of the recruitment process
Pros
I've used this all-in-one ATS/CRM for more than twenty years and in my experience it consistently handles recruiting and the day-to-day management of jobs and client relationships effectively.
Cons
For now I'd like to see additional features added, it could benefit from more functionality and I hope future releases bring those improvements.

Cons
Honestly all the features felt very simple and easy to use. I strongly recommend this to everyone and I can't think of anything negative to mention here.

“Everything finally in one place
Pros
One thing I really appreciate is how flexible and customizable the whole system is, it gives me the ability to tailor nearly every aspect to our needs. From any screen or field I can pull reports which makes data retrieval feel effortless compared to other tools I've used. The Analytics features it offers have also proven genuinely useful for helping us make sense of trends. Before committing to PCRecruiter, our team evaluated and sat through demos with a number of other vendors and honestly it felt like a never-ending, time-consuming search that was getting discouraging. Then, by chance I came across PCRecruiter and everything changed. Our sales rep was incredibly accommodating, took the time to answer all of our questions and actually listened to what we needed rather than pushing a one-size-fits-all solution. It will be one year this November since we started using PCRecruiter and the experience has been smooth, it's simple to work with on a daily basis. Another feature I like is the ability to configure which fields appear on-screen based on someone's job title so each person only sees what is relevant to their role. You can even make fields read-only for some users so they can view responses without being able to edit them. Switching to PCRecruiter ranks as one of the best decisions we've made for our workflow. Support has been outstanding whenever problems or questions come up, they usually respond immediately or resolve the issue quickly. All in all, I truly feel everyone should consider switching to PCRecruiter.
Cons
Personally there really isn't anything about PCRecruiter that I dislike. On the contrary I'm genuinely thrilled with how it performs and supports our work.

“all our recruiting in one system
Pros
Honestly one of the first things that caught my attention was how flexible and customizable the platform is, I can tweak it to match our workflow in so many ways. From any screen or field, we're able to generate reports which is incredibly convenient for day-to-day work. The analytics it offers have also proven to be genuinely useful for making sense of our activity. Before we landed on PCRecruiter, our team evaluated and sat through demos from a long list of competing vendors. That whole process felt exhausting and drawn-out and we even began to doubt whether we'd ever find a solution that fit. By chance I discovered PCRecruiter and it turned out to be a game changer. Our sales rep was accommodating, really listened and took the time to answer every question we had about our needs. We'll hit our one-year mark this November since we started using PCRecruiter and I can say it's simple to use. Another feature I appreciate is being able to configure exactly which fields appear on screens based on job titles so each colleague only sees what's relevant to their role. It's also possible to mark certain fields as read-only so people can view the information without being able to edit it. Switching to PCRecruiter ranks as one of the best choices we've made. The support team has been excellent whenever problems or questions pop up, they typically respond right away or resolve the issue quickly. I honestly think everyone should consider switching to PCRecruiter.
Cons
I can't point to anything I dislike about PCRecruiter. Personally we're genuinely thrilled with how it's working for us.

“simple and effective recruiting tool
Pros
When I'm used to Applicant Tracking Systems like "JD" but want something much easier on my wallet, PC Recruiter feels like the right choice for me. I find that it handles everything from applicant tracking through full applicant management.
Cons
Because it's a web-based service I need a fairly fast internet connection for it to run smoothly and I notice it becomes difficult to use when my bandwidth is limited.

“powerful but takes effort to master
Pros
Our team really appreciates the powerful, in-depth search capabilities it provides. You can uncover a tremendous amount of information stored in the platform. I'm a fan of the keyword feature, User Defined Codes that are searchable make it easy to tag and categorize people. We rely on mass importing constantly. PCR capture works well when it's functioning. I also like how flexible the database is. For example you can customize rollup screens, adjust search results, tweak candidate cards and more.
Cons
I've found there's no reliable duplicate-check during Mass Importing that catches every duplicate in our database. The "skip if duplicate found" option doesn't go deep enough. For our needs we have to be able to compare incoming name records against first and last names plus every phone and email field, otherwise duplicates slip through. Another frustrating issue is that the PCR capture tool keeps turning itself off while teammates are using it, it will cut out multiple times an hour which breaks workflow. Also, the PCR capture utility doesn't tie into ZoomInfo TalentOS so pulling profile data is awkward and time-consuming. When I'm on a record's notes section and right-click to delete or edit, that little popup menu often stays visible after I leave the screen, it's annoying because I have to carefully position future right-clicks to avoid the stuck menu. The same problem happens inside pipelines, right-clicking a name to edit details will leave the popup lingering even after I navigate away. Another hitch is with mass imports: when name records are linked to a company in PCR, the company's keywords do not get copied down to the individual records which forces manual work. There's also a cap on how many characters you can map for keywords during mass import, the field maxes out at a certain length which is limiting. Finally, we can't send mass texts directly from PCR and that absence makes outreach less efficient for us.

“handles complex data really well
Pros
My team and I really appreciate the platform's deep search capabilities. It lets us surface a huge amount of information from the system. From my perspective, I can quickly pull up lots of relevant data when I need it. We're also big fans of the keyword feature, the searchable User Defined Codes make it easy to tag and categorize people. Mass importing is something we rely on constantly. When PCR capture behaves, it performs very well. I also like how flexible the database is, for example, we can configure rollup screens, customize search results, tweak candidate cards and more to suit our workflow.
Cons
We don't have a dependable duplicate-check when mass importing which is a big pain for us. The "skip if duplicate found" option simply isn't thorough enough. I'd like the import process to compare name records against first and last names as well as every phone and email field. On top of that, our team constantly runs into the PCR capture tool turning itself off automatically while people are using it, often multiple times within an hour. It's frustrating and disrupts our flow. Another annoyance is that PCR capture doesn't integrate with ZoomInfo TalentOS so pulling data from that source becomes cumbersome. When I'm in the notes section of a record and right-click to delete or edit, the contextual popup often remains visible after I navigate away from that screen, it's irritating because you end up having to place your right-click carefully to avoid being blocked. The same issue happens in pipelines: right-clicking on a name to edit details can leave the popup lingering long after you've left that view. We've also noticed that when name records in a mass import are linked to a company in PCR, the company keywords aren't inherited by those individual records which forces extra manual work. During mass imports, there's a limit on the number of characters you can map for keywords that maxes out at a certain point and that restriction causes problems for our tagging. Lastly, mass texting isn't available directly from PCR which forces us to use external tools to reach out to contacts.

“job posting is essential and smooth
Pros
For our team the job posting capability is the single most essential and most frequently used part of the software when managing our company's staffing activities. It's where every hiring process begins and having it work smoothly, reliably and integrated with the rest of the platform keeps our entire recruitment pipeline flowing.
Cons
So far we haven't encountered any drawbacks with the software in our experience and I genuinely can't identify any negative aspects.

“easy once you learn it
Pros
After someone shows me the ropes and I spend some time getting familiar with it I find this Applicant Tracking System surprisingly easy to operate. It also covers a broad range of features.
Cons
However I find it can be finicky and downright tedious at times especially during a migration to a different ATS. I also discovered that deleting a company profile is difficult because it tends to remove all associated employee profiles and their contents as well.

“terrible sales team
Pros
I find the system pulls each person's photo from the database which makes matching faces to names quick and very simple.
Cons
Honestly the sales team was the worst part. They promised everything while onboarding me and a salesperson assured me he'd be my go-to and available anytime but when I actually needed assistance, he ignored my requests. I kept following up repeatedly and received no meaningful response.

Pros
I've found PCRecruiter to be extremely flexible, offering a wide array of tools and options that make it a solid pick across many different industries and use cases.
Cons

“strong for admin and niche roles
Pros
I find it really easy to use and I can design the exact search filters I want. For example I search by skills or years of experience, or I run keyword searches to locate those terms inside uploaded resumes. Also I can create teams and treat them like separate companies which helps me assign candidates to specific sectors or departments so they appear for one area or another
Cons
We had trouble getting it to integrate smoothly with other systems, when we linked it to our job posting page it caused some problems and required fixes but overall I still think it's an excellent recruitment tool.
