“clean design that keeps improving
Pros
Top three things we like most about Pinpoint. #1 Its clean, visual layout and how simple it is to use. You can tweak the workflow to suit your needs and it never feels like an outdated 1990s app while doing so. #2 The support team is excellent. As the company grows we meet new people and everyone stays really helpful and quick to respond. #3 The platform keeps getting better. They frequently push improvements and new features which we really enjoy.
Cons
There are a few limitations but the team is constantly releasing updates to tackle them and make the platform easier to use and more tailored to each user's needs.

“easy start with serious depth
Pros
A user-friendly platform that was extremely easy to install and get going right away without any fuss. Pinpoint is designed to handle all the boring and repetitive parts of managing applicants automatically. The account management team are top-notch and truly consistently available to help, even with questions they've been asked a hundred times before.
Cons
There's real depth to the system. It covers so much that if you invest enough time you can really benefit from it.

“beautiful ats that creates a difference
Pros
How do you even begin? Easy to use? Reasonably priced? Fantastic customer support? Lovely UX? When looking for an ATS for our company, we were almost set on using one I'd used before but then an ad for Pinpoint popped up and we figured, why not? So glad we did. Not only did they offer everything the other ATS did, their functions were better and there were more of them. The user interface is beautiful and the pricing made the decision simple. Really happy we took that chance. After working with several ATSs over my career, this solution by far leaves the competition behind.
Cons
Honestly there's not much to complain about. Any question, problem, or idea I've raised has been handled, rolled out, or updated. Their support is excellent and it's clear Pinpoint listens to users. Every time we've reached out they've been quick to respond and often implemented changes. The one area that could use improvement is interview scheduling. Specifically, it would be great to view more details about an upcoming interview right in the calendar instead of only seeing "Interview for X Job Scheduled" with a link. That's already been passed along to the team.

“support-led growth
Pros
We can continually improve the candidate journey with Pinpoint and bring our internal teams into interviews without friction. Compared to every ATS I've tried Pinpoint is easily the standout for customer support.
Cons
Pinpoint listens to feedback and you usually see requested features show up pretty fast, a suggestion we made recently appeared soon after. One capability we'd like added is the option to send an interview invitation that schedules the meeting for a later date.

“The only prob was limited dashboards
Pros
The setup was incredibly easy and it was simple to demo across the business, everyone's commented on how much it's improved our processes already. The user experience is excellent, we picked it for anonymised hiring which is working really well for us and we can now properly measure and report on diversity and inclusion.
Cons
Wish there were dashboard customization options though it's not a major issue.

“Transformed our hiring process
Pros
Honestly it's completely transformed how we hire. We used to receive a trickle of CVs but now applications have tripled and there are loads more applicants for us to pick from.
Cons
Couldn't find anything bad about it, it's brilliant.

“easy adoption but not really flexible
Pros
The platform is simplely easy to use and looks great. Its interface is tidy and navigation is easy. We've not encountered a reluctant manager during training or demos, they're all keen to adopt the system and collaborate with it rather than fight it which makes the whole recruitment process much less painful and a more positive experience for everyone.
Cons
There are some limits around design flexibility and pulling reports although I expect these will evolve over time. It's been valuable to be involved early on to help shape PinPoint with user-driven suggestions like adding a "withdrawn" option to candidate applications. The team listens to feedback and tries to implement changes to make our tasks easier. That said, the chat feature isn't always suitable for formal requests. Live chat is handy for quick queries but when used frequently it's hard to find past requests or conversations and chats can sometimes be missed by PinPoint. I'd recommend formal requests such as social adverts or system enhancements be handled via email so there's an audit trail, whether that's built into PinPoint or done through Outlook. Adding that functionality would streamline things, you could email the team the same way you would a candidate.

“smart summaries... SSO still missing
Pros
It turns application text and CVs into a concise candidate summary which saves me loads of time matching key skills and experience.
Cons
At the moment we still don't have single sign-on working but that's on the roadmap.

“A little glitchy scheduling
Pros
We're fairly new to Pinpoint but already spot its promise. Over the next year we want to cut down on using recruitment agencies where we can and grow our own talent pool so we can handle hiring internally. It's handy that candidates can apply speculatively when there aren't open roles and Pinpoint takes care of GDPR compliance. Customer support has been top-notch!
Cons
Setting up interviews through the system can be a bit time-consuming and fiddly for Line Managers. Right now it seems quicker to check Outlook calendars and send invites the usual way. To be fair we haven't really used that feature yet so it's just a preliminary impression.

“efficient for recruitment
Pros
Pinpoint is brilliantly easy, almost embarrassingly efficient and has saved us a ton of time and effort. It tackles every recruitment pain point we used to face. With a distributed remote team across multiple sites, having a central place to handle applications and keep all candidate information collaborative and GDPR-safe is invaluable and that's just the beginning. We get a lot of speculative applications and CVs which used to be tricky to manage in terms of time, compliance and not losing sight of great prospects. The candidate pipeline has become our most valuable feature something we didn't even realise we needed until we started using it. What's striking is how much passion the team brings to the service. There's usually lots of contact pre-sale but support often dries up after sign-up. not here. Pinpoint feels like buying into both software and a people-first support system. It's service combined with a platform not just a product. If you're used to older or more established HR tools, this is a refreshing change. It genuinely stands apart from the rest.
Cons
Haven't come across any real negatives so far. A couple of minor things like layout quirks have come up but a chat with the Pinpoint team either clarified them or resulted in a scheduled fix.

“clear dashboard that just works
Pros
I think Pinpoint is incredibly easy to use and the dashboard lets you quickly get a high-level snapshot of open roles and their management details. Having all the data at your fingertips cuts down on time and costs throughout the hiring process. It's fast to find a candidate's current status and communication plus interview bookings are handled in one place. The applicant portal is simple for our team to update and gives us control over what candidates see, for example job descriptions. The system also keeps candidate data safe. All in all, Pinpoint has been a great solution for our business.
Cons
We've only had positive experiences with the software.

“Overnight hiring possible with this tool
Pros
Pinpoint transformed our hiring process almost overnight and our management team have already given very positive feedback about it. The system is simple to use and has helped us streamline recruitment tasks and improve communication with candidates. Pinpoint not only handles recruitment admin but also gives us ways to promote our brand and proactively attract talent.
Cons
At the moment we can't tell if a candidate has seen messages without opening each profile and we're working with Pinpoint to make this clearer.

Pros
Simple to browse candidates and reach out to possible hires. Gets an email notification when new people apply.

“Essential tool and easy to set up
Pros
For me, getting Pinpoint set up and running was super easy and user-friendly. It lets us broadcast our open roles broadly and organize applicants in a systematic way for screening.
Cons
When people submit speculative applications or apply to several roles, I can't treat them as part of a single pipeline, so we're forced to continue managing communications and follow-ups through email.

“Good once you get a hang of it
Pros
I like that it keeps all of our data in one centralized place which makes things simpler to manage. The comments feature is useful and the support function has been really helpful and prompt whenever I've needed assistance.
Cons
I'll admit I'm not great with new systems so it's taking me some time to adjust and that's on me. I also end up filtering through a number of applicants who don't meet our requirements but still apply which can be time-consuming.

“recruitment automation
Pros
Using this software has been really simple, I only needed minimal training to get going. Whenever I have questions, the pinpoint team are quick to respond and always ready to help. I find the dashboard home screen really handy because it lets me view all my open positions and the number of applicants at a glance. Also, the automatic emails and templates have significantly reduced the time I spend on administrative tasks during recruitment.
Cons
When I'm managing several open positions at once it would make my life easier if, when I set my availability for interviews on a given day I could send the same set of time slots to every candidate instead of linking those slots to a single vacancy. That would be especially helpful when the hiring team handling those roles doesn't change.

“Keeps your data aligned
Pros
the user interface feels very user-friendly and supplies employers with valuable, clear and concise data when they're reviewing applications. On top of that, I think the way roles are advertised on social media is genuinely effective.
Cons
I haven't come across any major problems myself. the main drawback some users might face is limited web browser compatibility, though I suspect that's largely because some browsers in use are simply out of date.
