a thorough industry leading platform

Pros

Having used Pinpoint, I'm still genuinely impressed by how simple it is to use while delivering dependable, high-quality performance across the platform. Their customer service and support consistently stand out and that level of reliability is a major advantage for our business operations. I particularly value their fresh, thoughtful approach to recruitment and team-building, which matches the way we're intentionally moving our company forward. That alignment matters a lot because our head office is located where the local talent pool is quite limited.

Cons

I don't have any comments for this section.

The future of strategic recruitment...

Pros

After investing many years and a large amount of OpEx using recruitment agencies to find people with the right skills and cultural fit for our company, I've found Pinpoint to be a refreshing, game-changing take on hiring that puts candidates front and centre. In doing so it reveals people who might otherwise stay with their current employer and it essentially automates headhunting at a fraction of the traditional cost.

Cons

Because it depends on candidates being active on online channels like social media to work best, I find it can miss very senior or computer-averse people who could still be strong contenders for certain roles. That said, in my experience this group represents only a tiny slice of the talent pool and will likely shrink over time as digital adoption increases globally.

streamlined and time saving hiring

Pros

As a team, we now have a single place to handle our recruitment and we've cut down a massive amount of email admin. The support and implementation were fantastic. Our CSR has backed the team hugely and still does and the email tips on our adverts help keep us focused. The added photoshoot was a brilliant extra.

Cons

I'd really like an easy way to report the split between agency hires and direct applicants, we're still relying on agencies at the moment and are hoping to wean off them. so while that transition is happening this kind of reporting would really help our internal metrics and make comparisons much clearer.

pleasure to work with their support team

Pros

Using it has been easy and it clearly lays out all the information about the ads we're running. I find the interface very user-friendly. What's great is that this tool genuinely supports our company's recruitment needs and honestly I can't stand having to deal with recruitment agencies.

Cons

The main drawback I ran into was that setting up Facebook Ads Manager took a lot longer and felt quite complicated. I know that's an issue with Facebook's process rather than anything wrong with the PinPoint software itself.

massive improvement in our recruitment process

Pros

I've found the software really user-friendly and a huge step up from the old, email-based way we handled recruitment. It's compliant with GDPR, which I appreciate and it empowers candidates by giving them clear control over their own personal data throughout the hiring process.

Cons

We didn't really have any major complaints. there was an initial learning curve, but the platform is mostly really simple to use and we're regularly receiving messages about new improvements and system updates.

best face-to-face support

Pros

Pinpoint is easy to navigate, really user-friendly and gives off a very polished, high-end professional look. I've experienced excellent customer support and practical advice from the team. The Pinpoint software was instrumental in getting our new business off the ground, helping us run social media advertising, create easy-to-use links and maintain a streamlined application process. We ended up hiring more staff than I anticipated. when applicant numbers were low at first, Pinpoint's support offered advice, face-to-face help, guidance and useful tips to improve our applications, and it genuinely worked. I don't think we could have scaled this quickly without their help.

Cons

Honestly I can't find any real fault with this software; it only takes a short time to learn to navigate even for those with limited experience in software and IT. Once you become familiar with its features, it quickly becomes an invaluable tool for recruitment making the whole hiring process much more efficient and reliable.

CV's are now stored in one location!

Pros

I'm impressed by how user-friendly it is, it's not overly complicated and I get first-rate customer support throughout the workday. Pinpoint has genuinely accelerated our hiring workflow. After I add a job into the system, I can duplicate or tweak it for future openings which really cuts down on admin time.

Cons

I'd prefer the active and archived vacancies to be housed in separate folders, because that would make organizing and locating roles much simpler for me.

helpful tool, highly recommended

Pros

Using Pinpoint has been an incredible piece of technology that genuinely changed the way I manage applicants. It cuts out a lot of the administrative risks we face when tracking applicants and candidates by hand and it makes the whole process much more simple for hiring managers. I also appreciate the clever features that help standardise applications, which again streamlines our workflow. The Pinpoint team have been exceptionally helpful. they've delivered on every commitment and remain receptive to feedback and suggestions.

Cons

I can't think of anything major right now. Maybe it would be great if Pinpoint could integrate with our HR system to handle candidate onboarding but I imagine that's something for the future.

pinpoint changed the recruitment game entirely

Pros

I've found Pinpoint to be an excellent tool that promotes consistency and genuinely improves the candidate experience. It's smooth and easy to use, doing exactly what it's meant to, and even more than that.

Cons

Honestly there's nothing I dislike, I just wish we'd started using it much earlier!

Pinpoint - To the Point

Pros

My experience with Pinpoint was very positive because it neatly ranked applicants by suitability which made wading through applications much less painful and far quicker for our hiring team. I appreciated how Pinpoint gathered details from the uploaded CVs and arranged them in a sensible sequence that clearly illustrated how candidates' skills matched the specific job requirements.

Cons

I'm honestly hard-pressed to find anything I disliked; the tool felt smart, intuitive and highly usable in practice, so really, what's there to complain about?

I really like this tool

Pros

Being able to view it online meant I could access it outside of work. It allowed me to see all candidates in one place and I could also view others' comments and the current status for each person.

Cons

I couldn't print the application tab, which was frustrating. Also, I didn't find it very trustworthy. If the tool can't be relied on, it feels pointless.

very comfortable using Pinpoint

Pros

Using the software was easy and I could easily find my way around its features. I really appreciated having a single hub to oversee the entire hiring workflow. Digitizing and centralizing the recruitment steps cut down on time and made it simpler for me to shortlist and choose candidates.

Cons

I thought navigating the platform was simple but I feel a short introductory video or walkthrough would have improved the onboarding and made the overall experience even better.

impressed with the functionality and customer experience

Pros

This was my first time trying a web-based recruitment system and I must admit I've been pleasantly surprised. The interface is very user-friendly and the features work well. I appreciate being able to progress candidates seamlessly from the initial application stage right through to being hired without any fuss.

Cons

I didn't find the email templates very professional. After I reported the problem to Pinpoint, they put in a lot of effort and now let users create their own templates.

high standard tool that changed everything

Pros

I'm really impressed by how focused Pinpoint is on customers. It's simple to navigate and makes logical sense. Previously our candidates had a patchy experience but since adopting Pinpoint I've noticed the whole process is consistently the same for everyone.

Cons

Honestly I can't point to any flaws. Everything performs as expected or even better so I don't have any complaints.

truly a game changer

Pros

Over the many years I've been involved in every stage of hiring, I haven't come across anything remotely like this. It all just clicks: the concept is logical, the execution is outstanding and it genuinely enhances the experience for everyone taking part. Speaking from recent experience after meeting one of their reps and hearing about the roadmap, the way the team is planning and evolving this product truly blew my mind. I have no hesitation in saying it handles sourcing and coordinating the recruitment workflow far better than anything I've used before. The app is filled with numerous thoughtful touches that make it simple and pleasant to interact with for applicants, recruiters, hiring managers and even CEOs. We've saved a huge amount of time and money on hiring as a result and it helped us surface candidates we likely wouldn't have discovered through traditional channels. If you're skeptical, have them show you a demo and you will understand why this product deserves your attention within the first five minutes and in the next five you'll appreciate why it has the potential to become a global success and redefine the market. As the CTO at my organization, I'm always on the lookout for tools that cut down wasted time, improve our efficiency and boost our overall value. It's rare for me to finish a demo and feel like I need to sign up immediately, but that's exactly what happened here. I was practically begging to get started on the spot. Their team is exceptionally capable, they clearly have a solid long-term plan and the product quality is excellent. watching how they reshape the way people approach hiring is going to be fascinating.

Cons

My only real gripe is that I wish I'd discovered it earlier. After the demo I came away with very few follow-up questions about future features because the rep had already anticipated most of my thoughts which made me realize I lost valuable time not finding them sooner.

Simplifies candidate selection

Pros

For us, the biggest advantage was being able to ask applicants to complete screener questions and then rank and filter them based on the information they provided. This helped us narrow down to a shortlist and save a lot of time.

Cons

We didn't encounter any problems using it and a couple of concerns that we raised were quickly addressed by the support and development team.
