The timesheet tracking feature works really well and being able to pull so many different reports makes consolidating data much easier.
Cons
I wish there were more ways to customize restrictions, approvals and accruals, the current options feel a bit limited for our specific workflow needs.

The interface is very friendly and I love how all the compiled data shows up in that quick view, makes everything so much easier to digest at a glance.
Cons
I have not encountered any problems except for one technical glitch that happened after I updated my schedule and working hours.

Pros
Some of the best features include the simplicity of recording employees’ vacation days, along with tracking their reasons for the absence. In my opinion, PurelyHR offers much quicker and simpler administration as compared to its rivals. It has also streamlined the application process for paid time off. On the day employees’ hiring, it automatically displays available days for vacation, which are continuously updated throughout the year. It actually simplifies the process a lot, since a particular number of individuals must provide their approval according to hierarchical order. It even has the ability to email other individuals who are not giving their approval, which is an added advantage.
Cons
Unfortunately, you can only enter limited information in the comments section of your vacation/leave request. This is annoying since we ask every employee to list out all of their responsibilities and how they plan to cover them while they are away, but for some positions, the list isnt extensive enough. I really hope they quickly address this issue. Because in the end, we shouldnt have to make up with our own solutions when we already have the software running. This adjustment should come from the software, considering we are paying it to help us resolve these issues.

Pros
I find this system very handy and the pricing is really reasonable for what you get. The configurability options let me customize things exactly how our dealership needs them. When I've had questions, their customer support team gets back to me quickly via email which I really appreciate. It handles all the essential functions we require without any fuss. We actually tested another system from a major company before this one and honestly, it was awful compared to this.
Cons
Phone support isn't offered though it hasn't caused major issues for me. I think this might be an education gap on my part but creating even basic reports for actual balances with accrual accounting proves challenging. When an employee leaves, figuring out their prorated balance becomes quite difficult.

“Much better than excel”
Pros
This replaced our old Excel tracking system where everyone had to email one person about time off, what a nightmare that was. Now each person can handle their own time management, check their balances, and managers can easily monitor their team's leave status. The customer service has been fantastic too, always helpful and friendly when we've needed support.
Cons
We'd really appreciate having a mobile app or at least better mobile website functionality since our staff often needs to enter time off requests when they're not at their desks.

In my opinion, the layout is neat and makes everything easy to find. When I have questions, I get quick and helpful responses from support. The tutorials are thorough and actually teach you what you need to know.

“amazing but complex setup”
Pros
I'm really impressed with how user-friendly this is for both employees and managers. The support team is fantastic as they respond quickly and actually solve my problems. It makes tracking time-off and storing documents incredibly easy and I love the flexibility it gives us with our accrual system which is something most other platforms just don't offer.
Cons
Setting up Time Off Types took longer than I expected though I guess that's pretty normal with most systems. The team has been really helpful during setup though! We've also run into some problems with time not transferring between categories automatically but support was able to help us work through it.

The all-staff calendar view is really helpful for me. Having less paperwork when staff requests time off makes things so much smoother. There's also a great variety of reports I can pull whenever I need them.
Cons
Its quite difficult to use and sometimes I find myself spending more time than I'd like trying to figure out how to get what I need but I'll admit that's probably more on me than the software.

Pros
I've been using their time and attendance system for years and it's been really solid. The service team is always friendly and quick to respond when I need help. They've been great about customizing things to fit exactly what we need and when I recently had to make some changes, they were super helpful again. The system itself is pretty interactive both my team and I can figure it out easily without much training. The reporting features are comprehensive and give me everything I need to track attendance properly.
Cons
I haven't run into any real problems with this system at our company. The team actually made some updates recently that streamlined adding new employees which shows they're paying attention to what users are saying, that's pretty reassuring.

Pros
Managing time off requests used to be a nightmare for our team of under 50 people. We needed something that worked well for both employees submitting requests and managers handling approvals or denials. The documentation is solid and the reporting features are exactly what we needed. I've actually recommended this to several other companies and they've all thanked me for pointing them toward such a great solution. We previously relied on our payroll company's PTO tool but when we switched payroll services, that transition was an absolute disaster. Now we have complete control over the process and aren't dependent on other services.
Cons
After using this for over 5 years, I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about it.

“Good but carryover feature is broken”
Pros
It's pretty good overall and covers most of what I need plus has some nice bonus features. Being able to export staff information like compensation details, department info and addresses directly to Excel is very handy.
Cons
The carry forward days feature can be confusing to use. Sometimes it doesnt automatically apply vacation days I've taken to my oldest available days which is frustrating. I really enjoy accessing this through my phone but not all the features are available on mobile.

UI handles so many of our daily operations automatically. We rely heavily on the time-off and timesheet features and having everything sync up perfectly has streamlined our payroll process significantly. Before this I was juggling multiple separate programs but this platform delivers much better functionality at a fraction of the cost.
Cons
I don't have much to complain about but there are some customizations I'd love to see added. One thing that really bugs me is the calendar setup process whenever I add a new employee, I have to manually go into every existing employee's profile just so they can view the new person's calendar. It would be so much better if everyone could automatically see each other's calendars by default and then I could add restrictions if needed. Basically, I'd prefer an opt-out system rather than having to opt everyone in manually.

The calendar integration is fantastic. I can generate a link that automatically adds time-off requests to my calendar app so I always know who's out without having to dig through reports.
Cons
Setting up policies and rules gets confusing sometimes though that's more due to complex corporate requirements than the software itself.
