Easy time tracking !

Pros

For over a decade, we've been very satisfied using the platform exclusively for time tracking. Its simplicity and customization make it easy for both our administrators and employees to learn, which streamlines onboarding. As a non-profit, the cost-effectiveness has also been a significant advantage for our organization.

Cons

I really like the time-off module, though the sheer number of reporting options can be overwhelming at first, it sometimes takes a few tries to find the exact report I need. The upside is that with so many choices, what I'm looking for is almost always in there somewhere

easy setup but confusing vacation balances

Managing time off for employees is simple and I find most of the set-up to be easy.

Cons

I am not a fan of how carry-over time and current vacation balances are shown. It's confusing and hard to figure out. Also, some of the settings are hard to locate once you're up and running and need to make adjustments.

ideal for managing time off

Pros

The best part for me is how its an easy to use system for managing time-off requests. The software gives me peace of mind by how it records everything, from the requests to the approvals or rejections for both the employee and employer.

Cons

Let's be honest, calculations are my least favorite thing to do but I have to deal with them in this tool.

Good price & dependable

Pros

You really can't beat the reasonable price. It's also a stable product without a lot of downtime and the PTO management is easy.

Cons

The performance module could use a few more options and it can be a bit difficult for new managers to get the hang of. Also, uploading user files has to be done one at a time, which is a real struggle.

Excellent for vacation tracking!

Pros

We only used this tool for time-off tracking and it worked great for that.

Cons

Learning the system was tricky because you have to load a profile in a few different screens. Also, the termination screen is limiting and it would be great to have an 'OTHER' option instead of being forced to pick from a short list. We don't really use it for tracking terminations though, so it wasn't a big deal for us.

great price for the services provided

Pros

Honestly, for the services it provides, you can't beat the price. It's user-friendly and gives us what we need for payroll like accurately tracking time off accruals and time used. Both admins and staff find the timesheet module very easy to use.

Cons

My only real complaint is that using it on my phone is very limited. The remote access isn't great.

It's packed with features but still has an interactive interface. For our small business, it's a great way to get the same tools that big companies have in their expensive HR software.

Cons

color-coding makes planning simple

I love that you can color-code different types of time off. Just looking at the calendar, I can see who's off and why, which is awesome for planning. Setting up all the different time-off categories is really helpful too.

Cons

The reporting feels a little complex. I'd love a report that simply lists the name and how much time off is left at the end of the year without all the extra details.

Stable but has too many paywalls

Pros

It is very stable, I don't think it's ever gone down on me. Plus its very easy for my staff to figure out.

Cons

But there are some real head-scratchers. They charge extra for basic security like multi-factor authentication, and the settings are all over the place. You can't even customize time-off types, you're stuck doing things their way. The design has some odd quirks, like pop-ups you have to scroll through, and it doesn't connect well with other tools we use. Plus, there's no scheduling feature at all, which feels like a pretty basic miss.

holiday pay calculations are always wrong

Honestly, the timesheets are the only useful parts of the system. They're relatively easy to use.

The time-off feature is excellent, it handles accrual tracking for all our different policies perfectlyand generating reports is straightforward and genuinely useful.

Cons

helpful features but review section flawed

Pros

It is relatively easy to use and has some functions we were specifically looking for. I also find the auto-reminders for birthdays and work anniversaries really helpful.

Cons

We found the review section wasn't quite the right fit for our teams. For the lawyers, it didn't support the process of getting feedback from multiple partners, which is something we need. With the assistants, we ran into a recurring issue where if several people were doing a review, the first one to finish would sometimes hit "FINALIZE" by accident. This would lock the others out until we could get an admin to undo it, which made the process a difficult to manage.
