“Clean overview of work hours
Pros
Using it without any hassle and getting a clear overview of all hours worked has really helped. From my experience everything is laid out in a way that makes checking time and staying on top of the schedule simple.
Cons
At the beginning the product did feel a little outdated especially in terms of how it looked. That said noticeable improvements to the design have been made and now it seems like it's heading in a really good direction.

“simple vacation and sick leave handling
Pros
Using this software has felt very simple especially when requesting vacation or registering sick leave. Finding what's needed usually happens without confusion and that makes those routine tasks much less of a hassle.
Cons
The main downside is the design. A little boring and somewhat old-fashioned, the overall look of the software is not as modern or visually appealing as desired.

“Better shift planning overall
Pros
The bulk and multi-edit feature for shifts in the schedule has been especially helpful because assigning missing sections, project codes and cost codes happens much faster. Seeing all shifts across a full period also makes planning much more manageable. NEO simplifies a lot of the process and comes across as more user-friendly overall.
Cons
Flash feeling slow and not being supported on mobile devices limits how it can be used. Switching between units also clears previous filters and options, creating unnecessary delays. On top of that some features seem to be missing in the newer NEO version which could become a problem especially with the more basic security levels and the reduced visibility of rules and agreements tied to a shift.

“really happy with shift booking
Pros
It is great that it has a smooth feel while working really well and looking polished. Booking and managing shifts is very simple and convenient holiday requests and time punches through the app are a real plus. From my experience it's a very user-friendly tool and genuine excitement exists to see how Quinyx continues to improve.
Cons
The app can be quite slow at times which gets frustrating. Viewing shifts in more than just 5-day increments would be welcome because that really doesn't feel like enough. A monthly calendar view on the dashboard would make a big difference. Aside from that though, no major complaints about the overall usability exist.

“helpful forecasting and shift planning
Pros
Practicality when creating shifts and how well the whole process works for day-to-day scheduling, that's the real draw. Checking the forecast without any hassle helps with planning monthly targets more confidently and making better decisions around staffing and store coverage. For a business like Rituals, preparing in advance for busy trading periods matters a lot and Quinyx supports that quite a bit when it comes to staying organized and planning ahead.
Cons
A few problems still exist especially when validating reports, where mistakes can happen around overtime and time off in lieu. A support line to assist when something goes wrong is appreciated and that help has been used when needed. That said a permanent fix would be much preferred so these issues stop happening in the first place.

“Clean and practical scheduling
Pros
Using it without any hassle because it feels very direct and uncomplicated. The layout is quite basic but in my experience that actually works well since it gives exactly what's needed without adding unnecessary clutter.
Cons
Overall a very positive experience with the software exists although a few technical issues now and then have occurred, like shifts not appearing. That said those problems may be related to mistakes on my company's side rather than the platform itself.

“flexible scheduling and payroll output
Pros
The daily and weekly staff scheduling is most valued especially since it feeds directly into payroll. Connecting to the Quinyx database and using that data to create automated reports inside our own reporting system has also been really appreciated.
Cons
A downside experienced was the long implementation period in some of our countries. Quite a bit of training and continued follow-up was also needed before managers were able to use the system properly especially when it came to payroll-related output.

“Modern staff planning companion
Pros
How simple the software is to understand stood out. The app represents a modern way to keep employees updated on any changes in staff scheduling and planning. From my experience a definite recommendation for Quinyx exists especially in the retail industry. On top of that, the customer service has also been really impressive.
Cons
An API that would let me import working hours directly into the German payroll system DATEV Lodas is missing in Quinyx. That would be a valuable addition and a real bonus if offered in the future.

“mobile-first rostering that delivers
Pros
The mobile-first design and the predictive analytics built into rostering are standout features. Those features are especially valuable because they make workforce planning feel more practical and responsive in day-to-day use.
Cons
Quinyx does a particularly strong job serving industries like warehousing and hospitality and that clearly shows in the platform. At the same time, broader reach and stronger functionality for other sectors would be welcome especially areas like construction.

“Smart platform, strong partnership
Pros
Quinyx offers a smart, scalable platform that really helps customers work more efficiently and makes day-to-day operations feel much more manageable. As a partner, their team is genuinely enjoyable to work with because they are sharp, involved and quick to respond whenever needed. A true understanding of the WFM space and exactly what it takes to create real value for both customers and partners is evident.
Cons
Honestly nothing about working with Quinyx is disliked. Excellent partners across the board and even when challenges come up, effort is put in to work through issues and find solutions that make sense for everyone involved.

“valuable for payroll planning
Pros
This platform adds a lot of value when payroll is outsourced especially as part of the overall system and service setup. Particular usefulness exists for businesses where staff planning plays a critical role because it helps tie workforce management and payroll-related processes together in a very practical way.
Cons
I am hoping for a stronger support for certain Nordic blue-collar union agreements especially the ones with more complex time rules. That said it is incredibly strong in the service and retail space which makes sense given where it started and rapid expansion into other industries is evident.
