“Essential tool for our hiring
Pros
Recruitee has become an essential tool in our hiring, giving us a full picture of our candidates and automating many steps like sending emails. It also connects perfectly with Outlook and is very easy to use. We had nothing like it before. Plus its fully customizable pipeline lets us add every stage of our hiring process and the email templates make talking to candidates easy and uniform.
Cons
Like any software product, it can take a while to plan, test and release improvements or new tools but these updates are worth waiting for and customers are kept informed about the progress.

“Everything about it is simply best
Pros
Everything about Recruitee is simply the best. I also love the design and what it provides. Overall it is an excellent applicant tracking system, the best I have used up to now.
Cons
They still have not added the texting feature they talked about earlier.

“Costs grow exponentially which is a pain
Pros
The software has a pleasant design and CV/resume scraping functionality.
Cons
Annual subscriptions are set up to make costs rise substantially. I mean even a temporary increase in job ads raises your renewal amount. And cancellation must be done 1 month before the term ends. Everything is designed for costs to grow exponentially and bills can climb to tens of thousands of euros very fast.

Well I really like the ability to post to multiple job boards.
Cons
Customer service does not respond and goes in circles. There is no manager to speak to. Also their Indeed sponsorship offer is misleading.

“I love recruitee so much
Pros
I love Recruitee so much that we chose not to use the hiring feature in our main HR platform. Some of our best people were hired through it. And now I am looking forward to the new updates and starting to hire again. They also have one of the best customer service teams, chat functions and feedback systems I have ever seen. Overall they have raised my expectations for customer support on any platform I use from now on.
Cons
There are occasional small bugs but they fix problems fairly, quickly and well. Any downsides are mostly about features that are already being worked on. Overall they are doing a really great job.

“Great choice for a smaller company
Pros
Recruitee offers a free trial which lets you test if the software is a good fit for your business. So I would say this is a great choice for a smaller company. The price is also very competitive. For our HR team, this tool worked really well as the interface is nice and quick and we never ran into any glitches or issues.
Cons
I have not used it enough to have a major complaint or anything as I cannot really think of anything!

“Connections make it simpler
Pros
The connections with email, notifications and the inbox make it simpler to track candidate progress and also to reply to their questions. The general layout and design of Recruitee are great too and the option to edit candidate info and status in bulk makes everything run more smoothly.
Cons
Perhaps a way to select several candidates at once from the job pipeline tab to change their status more easily. As the usual method has to be done in the candidates own tab. Also the lack of a filter by tags option in the job tab is a feature I miss in this program.

It is not flawless but the price is quite fair. Our experiences with their Customer Service have been positive.
Cons

“Layout is very direct and clear
Pros
The tool's layout is very direct and clear. This is the third applicant tracking system I have used and I'd say it generally has most of the features you'd want. Plus it offers various reports for tracking hiring metrics, calendar sync for scheduling, email templates, automated replies, different access levels for interview panels, etc. Moreover their help site includes video tutorials which is great if you learn better by watching.
Cons
I noticed that it is occasionally missing some minor features or has restrictions on what's possible. A few examples are there is no way to stop administrators from seeing their own profiles, the method for hiding confidential info is not always the best and when you send a meeting invite via Microsoft Teams sync, you cannot rename the invitation within Teams.

Pros
I like absolutely everything about the software. It is very simple to use, you can follow every candidate's progress, communicate with everyone involved in hiring and rate the candidates. I'd give it a perfect 10 out of 10.
Cons
Well I didn not use the software long enough to develop a strong dislike. However it could sometimes offer more options for customization.

Pros
It has a mobile application and I like that it includes a pipeline feature to visualize candidate stages.
Cons
There is no coordination between the sales, service and accounts teams. Customer service is consistently poor. Management does not seem to care. They cut off service midway due to their own internal lack of coordination. Plus the salespeople promise one thing and the service team says another.

“pretty easy to figure out
Pros
Recruitee is quite easy to figure out and the team had no trouble getting started. The Kanban-style view of candidates is very handy too and we can adjust the stages to fit our own hiring steps.
Cons
Though the careers page works but it lacks some flexibility to make it look really good. For example, you cannot mark a job as remote or open in multiple cities. We have several offices and some roles are not tied to a specific location so we'd like to show it's open in many places. Instead we have to create duplicate listings which is very inconvenient, looks messy on the page and also prevents us from seeing all candidates for that role in one view.

It helps us make our recruiting and onboarding process more efficient and it makes us stick to our rules and timelines which makes our whole approach feel much more professional.
Cons
Getting everything configured perfectly is a bit challenging and takes time but once it is set up, all the effort you put into the setup pays off quickly.

“Hard to cancel subscription

Even though the software is good, they severely restrict what you can do and constantly try to get you to upgrade to more expensive plans almost every month.
Cons
When we tried to cancel our plan, they still charged us for an extra month, saying we did not cancel properly. I mean you have to go through several pages to cancel your subscription and even though it seems like you are done, you will probably still get billed. When we found this out a day later, they refused to give us a refund. So I'd advise against adding your credit card here.

“Can post to many job sites
Pros
I was searching for an applicant system that could post to many job sites at once. After what felt like months of looking and watching demos, I finally found and contacted Recruitee and I was impressed right away. I love that I can create a job and it easily connects to other job boards if I want it to. Or I can just use the free boards that it provides. I also love that I can keep notes, all messages and different details inside each job posting AND inside each candidates profile.
Cons
I do not have any complaints right now as the software is excellent.

“love the easy setup
Pros
The automation, how easy it is to set up, the reports and the overall interface are all the things I like about it.
Cons
It should prevent an interviewer from seeing other peoples evaluations until they have submitted their own. As this would help reduce bias.
