love the simple, guided interface

Pros

I really like the application's interface which guides me through simple click-to-advance actions and presents a clearly organized agenda and I also valued having example documents and artifacts available.

Cons

At first, there was a bit of a learning curve around who owns what tasks. I had clear, step-by-step guidance on how to create a meeting set during onboarding but I later found out that actually putting those meetings together was the mentee's job. This caused a bit of early confusion about our roles

From my experience, I have noticed the platform would be improved by offering greater customization for monitoring industry-specific development objectives and competency frameworks. In the beginning there was a bit of a learning curve when I set up recurring meetings and I noticed the system was somewhat sluggish and did not immediately display the times available with my mentor but after the list finally loaded everything proceeded smoothly, beyond that hiccup I cannot really identify any other drawbacks.

Convenient linking features

Pros

I've found the platform extremely convenient for linking mentors and mentees throughout the company and its scheduling and goal-setting tools in particular help ensure that meetings stay organized, productive and sharply focused.

Cons

I wish the reporting options were more flexible and I sometimes get too many notifications that feel repetitive and unnecessary.

Very adaptable

Pros

I find the program extremely adaptable in scheduling and in defining objectives for topic discussions and its accurate functionality along with concise summaries and constructive feedback, enhance its overall usefulness across various age brackets of users.

Cons

My main reservation is the lack of certification which I believe could be remedied by establishing a partnership with an accredited university, including a practical field visit would significantly increase its value and at a later phase I would appreciate the opportunity to have face-to-face interactions during the conference.

useful for beginners

Pros

What I appreciated most were the online tips and the way the platform links my mentor and me since those guidance snippets are incredibly valuable when someone like me has no prior experience with this kind of activity, additionally, the suite of tools and the detailed preparation advice it offers proved to be very useful.

Cons

The scheduling interface was somewhat baffling at first although I eventually worked it out in particular when I'm choosing between a video or an in-person meeting it persistently presents Teams as a default option which can be misleading or awkward if that's not the meeting format I intend to use.

Great value for my money

Pros

As a user I have found this to be an excellent platform that offers strong value for money helping accelerate my learning curve and solidify knowledge across a range of different products.

Cons

I haven't come across any drawbacks with this program so far, on the contrary, it significantly supported my growth by allowing me to engage both as a mentor and as a mentee.

Suggests topics and works perfectly

Pros

One feature I really appreciate is that the platform suggests agenda topics, makes it simple to monitor interactions and syncs smoothly with gcalendar. I also value the educational materials and the clear separation between coaching and mentoring.

Cons

No criticisms.... overall the platform excels and ensures the mentee-mentor workflow is consistently smooth and thoroughly documented.

helpful but awkward calendar use

Pros

For me it delivers the right practical information exactly when I need it and helps keep our discussions on track and I particularly appreciate the targeted guidance for each meeting combined with prompts to add follow-up notes which I find extremely useful.

Cons

I find the calendar integration somewhat awkward, it would be far more convenient if I could schedule meetings directly from my Outlook calendar and I really wish Together offered an Outlook plugin to make that process smooth.
