Bloomberg Law Features

This innovative legal research software feature uses machine learning to instantly identify the most relevant language and governing precedents within a court opinion. It helps attorneys bypass manual searching by highlighting the specific "points of law" cited in a case, allowing for faster validation of legal theories and more efficient case preparation.

See How It Works

Bloomberg Law features deep litigation analytics that allow firms to analyze the behaviors of judges, law firms, and companies. By utilizing the platform's comprehensive data, legal teams can predict how a judge might rule on a specific motion or gain competitive intelligence on opposing counsel's track record in similar jurisdictions.

See How It Works

The BCite citator is a critical tool for verifying the precedential value of a case. It provides an easy-to-read visual analysis of how subsequent courts have treated a ruling, flagging negative treatment to ensure that legal researchers never rely on "bad law" in their filings or client advice.

See How It Works

A standout feature of this legal research tool is its unlimited access to federal and state dockets. Users can set up automated alerts to track new filings in real-time without incurring additional search fees, ensuring that litigation teams are always informed of the latest developments in their cases or industry.

helpful database

Pros

For my day-to-day work the database setup is very helpful. I can run advanced searches, organize records and tag older documents which makes reviewing past material much easier.

Cons

From what I've seen the system organizes information across multiple layers and supports data from many countries. That said, older cases sometimes lack detail, even though the cloud-based setup works well overall.
