“Most productive system in a decade”
Pros
This is the fourth case management system I have tried over the past ten years and honestly it has proven to be the easiest to use and the most productive for my workflow. The platform feels verynatural, so I can pull up the information I need fast without wading through screens or links I never touch. It really cuts down on the time our firm spends trying to determine case statuses whenever a client asks for an update. On top of that, Casepeer keeps track of when I last worked on particular files which helps me quickly spot which matters need my attention.
Cons
I like pie charts and would love the option to view our performance that way they make it easy for me to grasp proportions at a glance. Adding pie-chart visualizations for our metrics would be really helpful when I want a quick, visual summary.

“Great features”
Pros
I like the texting feature, the notes and the client/defendant tabs that include insurance and adjuster details.
Cons
What frustrates me is the medical treatment tab as it is hard to get a clear overview of all treatments without endless scrolling and that the program doesn not handle calculations automatically. I'd love it if, after I enter the insurance payment and any adjustments, CASEpeer would compute the remaining balance for me.

“Excellent file organization and search”
Pros
What I like most is how well files are organized and that I can search across all areas of the app, especially within the notes
Cons
I only can think of one downside which is that I wish there were more tutorials and guides available so I could learn everything and use CP to its full potential

“Tidy dashboard, needs contact improvements”
Pros
I am a big fan of how the dashboard is set up everything is shown in one place which makes it simple to get an overview quickly. Being able to forward emails straight into a case is another feature I really value, since it keeps related communication together. All in all, the layout feels tidy and helps me stay organized without much effort.
Cons
Sometimes I struggle to scan through the notes because they can be hard to read, so I often end up using Ctrl+F to track down specific keywords. The Contact Directory in the Management section could use some work too as for now having to assign contacts to categories makes locating people more difficult. If a contact ends up in a different category than the one I am looking through, it adds extra time and confusion. Also I'd prefer a directory that lets me find contacts more directly without relying on strict categorization.

“powerful features”
Pros
What I like most is the notes feature. it is become my go-to for keeping case details organized. Document tagging and folders also make it simple to group and find files quickly. The platform is fast as I can flip between tabs, preview documents and upload or download files without lag. Customizable templates are easy to set up and genuinely speed up moving a case forward. I rely on the reliable text messaging to stay in touch with clients and the pricing is good too as it and sits in the mid-range compared to other options. Live chat support is responsive and helpful for training and guidance, even though they rarely fully fix complex issues. Lastly tagging teammates on a note or document is a practical way to push cases ahead and keep everyone in the loop.
Cons
My biggest frustration is the lack of flexibility around core things like case types. Also it is hard to tailor the system to varied practices. The software often treats the client as the plaintiff by default and doesn't handle defendants well which causes confusion during conflict checks. There's also no consistent way to mark a person as deceased across all person fields, or to note if the death is related to the matter, the date of death, or next of kin and that gap complicates record-keeping. I feel customers aren't given meaningful input into the roadmap and communication about what CASEpeer is developing or planning to release is scarce. Too often new features seem irrelevant to our needs while more critical capabilities go unaddressed. Finally, the product feels heavily skewed toward car accident plaintiff work which makes adapting it to other types of matters unnecessarily difficult.

“Simple, user-friendly, and easy”
Pros
I have found CasePeer veryuser-friendlyandsimple, so picking it up was easy for me.
Cons
It would be much more convenient if Kenect and Casepeer offered tighter integration so photos could transfer automatically the way text messages do and I really wish that capability was available.

“Dependable core”
Pros
I find CasePeer to be very dependable as case management software. I genuinely enjoy using it for case management. I like that the team is branching out into additional features, though those newer areas still feel a bit underdeveloped. That's fine with me because the core functionality covers my needs reliably and smoothly.
Cons
While the texting feature works great and I use it all the time, I would love the ability to send PDFs and other attachments directly through texts. The client portal hasn't been my favorite as it doesn't feel veryuser-friendlyto me and there isn't much for clients to explore on their own. For now I am filling those gaps by pairing CasePeer with Kenect and a separate CRM. In theory it could function as an all in one solution but it does not quite reach that point yet. On the lead management side I wish more fields could auto-fill when a new lead is added. My lead capture tool gathers a lot of information, yet when I push that data into CasePeer only the absolute basics come over.

“Simple to use”
Pros
Everything about it feels prettysimple and I find it very easy to use overall.
Cons
I often run into problems when typing in 'foreign' client names, because CP seems to struggle with recognizing them. Many names from other countries simply don't get picked up and since we have so many clients with diverse naming conventions, it becomes really frustrating. Repeatedly typing any portion of a name and getting no results over and over wears on me. The system appears to have the most difficulty with Spanish, Indian India and various Asian names.

“Outstanding for organizing client files”
Pros
Casepeer has been an outstanding legal case management tool that's helped our team deliver exceptional service to clients and secure major case wins. I find that Casepeer excels at keeping client files and related information neatly organized, making everythingeasyto find and access when I need it.
Cons
Over the last couple of years I have seen it make notable improvements by working closely with clients to refine the legal software and make it more user-friendly but I still feel the calendaring module could be better. While you can add calendar rules tied to important trial dates and that functionality does work, I'd like greater flexibility to customize some of the specific dates created by those rules. Beyond that, the overall aesthetic of the calendar doesn't appeal to me. As I'd prefer a cleaner, more modern look and since I depend on the calendar as one of the primary tools in Casepeer, its appearance and flexibility are important.

“Quick to learn with easy onboarding”
Pros
Even employees who have not worked in law before pick up Casepeer very quickly and have very little trouble figuring out how to use it in a short amount of time. We also appreciated that there was not a drawn-out onboarding period thats a common headache when changing case management systems. Plus the ability to text clients and let them e-sign documents that automatically upload into their file was particularly helpful during the COVID period.
Cons
I find it less user-friendly on mobile devices and tablets which is a bit frustrating because sometimes I need to access case files while I am traveling. I'd much prefer to use my iPad instead of being tied to carrying a laptop around. That said, I had to think long and hard about what I liked least, because overall Casepeer has delivered excellent results for our team.

“Helpful core tools, some features confuse”
Pros
I rely mostly on the task, calendar and note tools for our day-to-day work.
Cons
I have found that most of our clients end up needing the same step by step guidance repeatedly just to get signed up for the portal, so a brief, clear note or walkthrough for new users would be really useful. Also the Chart Squad tool doesn't seem to function and many features like the document organization feel confusing, so we tend not to use them.

“effective client communication”
Pros
One of the things I like most about it is how simple it makes reaching a client. I can call or email from within the platform but I especially like that it includes built-in texting. I find clients are much easier to get in touch with via text, particularly when they're at work and cannot take phone calls, so messages tend to get quicker responses.
Cons
I'd really like the texting feature to support sending photos, because being able to attach images would make client communication so much more efficient.
