“Good features but system outages are worst
Pros
The platform has so many built-in features that I rarely need to look for outside tools.
Cons
System outages really set us back and disrupt our workflow. Another annoyance is the clunky process for editing bills that are still waiting for approval.

“Streamlined intake and handoff process
Pros
I love how I can streamline the intake process in Clio Grow and then hand off the client seamlessly to my team in Clio Manage and Clio Draft.
Cons
Sure the platform has a few areas that could be better but the support team is amazing, they are always ready to help find a solution and they actually listen to our ideas and pass them along to their developers for future updates.

The software is very accurate and reliable, customer service is quick to respond and they seem to genuinely consider our suggestions for new features.
Cons

I am excited by all the new features in development. I started with basic document automation in Manage and Clio keeps adding and refining tools to help run my firm. With over 200 integrations, it is clear why they dominate the market.
Cons
The software felt a bit limited in its early days but the company genuinely pays attention to user feedback and the product keeps improving all the time.

“Great valuable tool for our firm!
Pros
Clio is a great foundation for our firm. I have been a user for over 13 years and have watched it grow and improve. Some things have not changed like the excellent customer service and minimal downtime. The automated reminders and calendaring alone save us the cost of a full-time employee. I organize all our digital files, track payments and trust accounting, ensure team accountability with tasks and communicate effectively with clients through the portal. Using it helps me be a better, more focused lawyer and keeps my clients happy.
Cons
You get all the essential features in one package but the more advanced tools cost extra. Clio Grow, for client intake works seamlessly with Clio Manage but is a separate purchase. The basic document templates are alright but the upgraded Clio Draft add-on is supposedly much better though it is another fee and I find it tricky to learn. The total cost is significant but it prevents us from needing to hire another person and helps us avoid missed deadlines and unhappy clients, so the value is there for us.

Pros
It is easy to use and does everything I could want as an attorney. The technology streamlines my practice making tasks like drafting documents and reminding clients of court dates take seconds. Tech support responds very quickly and the staff is always nice and courteous, even if they cannot immediately solve my issue. The constant updates and new features especially for such a reasonable monthly price, are incredible.
Cons
The look and feel of some parts could be nicer. Certain features do not perform perfectly and I sometimes get confusing error messages on my computer. While support usually fixes things, the process can be slow often requiring a lengthy screen-sharing call instead of a quick chat.

The customer service team is extremely helpful and quick to respond and our account representative is also very knowledgeable. The programs are fairly easy to use and switching from our old software was smoother than we expected.
Cons
Umm the way we handle payment entries was a little awkward at first but our team has since figured out a good process to get around those initial hurdles.

Clio is user friendly and gives us excellent document management, client relationship tools, timekeeping and billing all on a single platform for a reasonable price with no long-term contracts.
Cons
Every now and then the platform has some hiccups like connection problems that bring our work to a complete stop. But luckily these outages are rare and do not last very long when they do happen.

“Great for tracking time and expenses
Pros
Clio has been great for tracking billable time and expenses and for sharing documents even large attachments like videos. The calendaring is also great because you can link an event to a specific case and invite users including clients. The reminder system is also a huge help for managing tasks and deadlines. Customer support is very responsive and helpful. We also love Clio Grow, though I wish editing the documents and forms was more user-friendly but it has improved since we started like with the new ability to add a table.
Cons
A few persistent bugs have taken a while to get resolved. The timer can be unreliable too so you have to watch it closely to make sure your time is logged correctly. Our main headache right now is the Clio calendar falling out of sync with Outlook, forcing us to enter everything twice.

Pros
I love how customizable this program is. I can create my own fields and documents and the organization options are great. Plus being able to template our own information to quickly open a new matter is a very useful tool. Moreover the client portal and the ability to text our clients directly are also features I really like.
Cons
My one complaint involves email attachments. Unless you save the entire email, the file gets sent to a general attachment folder which can be a real pain to search through on a busy case.

I have been really impressed with how Clio simplifies everything. I was looking for a replacement for our old legal management software and decided to try Clio. It's been a breath of fresh air compared to what we were used to. Automating client intake and managing cases has made our work much more efficient and the integrations with tools we already use meant we did not have to start from scratch.
Cons
The mobile app does not have all the capabilities of the desktop version which is annoying when you need information while traveling. On a positive note support was helpful when I called from the road and they mentioned that app upgrades are currently underway.
