“a wonderful product”
Pros
It has been an amazing product for us and it performs flawlessly week after week and month after month.
Cons
Honestly I don't have any complaints. I'm happy with everything it offers and haven't run into any downsides.

“Solid features”

“constant updates and improvements”
Pros
The steady stream of updates keeps adding useful features and improving the platform. The texting feature they introduced last year was a total game changer. The client portal has also been excellent for reducing email traffic and giving the whole team better visibility into client communication and case activity.
Cons
The document management side still has plenty of room for improvement. It also doesn't really stand out as a CRM.

“all-in-one legal workflow”
Pros
Having our data, participants, documents, contacts, email and communication history, plus calendaring all in one place has been a huge advantage. The mobile app is really useful when we're away from the office especially for working on the go and tracking time. The client portal also helps a lot by showing what clients have already submitted and what's still outstanding. Overall the amount of administrative time Clio saves us has been incredibly valuable.
Cons
QuickBooks mapping could be better because it doesn't line up as well as it should. A few integrations still feel like they're in progress and there's currently no integration with MyPleadings.

“Helpful case management platform”
Pros
Working with this system has been very manageable and it's been a helpful platform to use overall. It would be even better if it included support for care management, guardianship and conservatorship.
Cons
It isn't really designed for medical-related use and it would also be more useful if it integrated with Quicken.

“keeps data secure”
Pros
Right away, it felt user-friendly to use and that has saved me a lot of time on admin work as an attorney. Its integration with other tools works smoothly and the mobile access makes it convenient to manage my practice efficiently no matter where I am. I also really appreciate the strong billing capabilities and the platform's focus on security and compliance which gives me confidence when handling sensitive client information.
Cons
pricing feels a little on the higher side especially now that there are more legal practice management options available to choose from. Getting started also came with a bit of a learning curve before I felt fully comfortable using the platform. On top of that, I'd still like to see more customization options so it can better match the specific way I prefer to work.

“Complete legal solution”
Pros
It handles almost everything I need for daily practice management, from invoicing to trust accounting and it does it really well. The calendaring with court rules and the document automation are also excellent and make a big difference in my workflow.
Cons
I wasn't happy about the increase in the processing fee for Clio Payments not long after I signed up. They did offer to keep my original rate in place for a few months before the increase kicks in but it was still disappointing to see the fee go up at all.

“comprehensive product”
Pros
After comparing several case management platforms for my immigration practice, this one covered everything I needed especially for intake, client billing and keeping my remote team organized and on the same page.
Cons
There really isn't much for me to complain about but it definitely isn't a low-cost option and the pricing is on the higher side.

“Payment, invoicing and CRM in one place”
Pros
Having payments, invoicing and CRM all built into one platform is really convenient and brings a lot together in a useful way. I used to be a big fan of the customer support as well but that has changed quite a bit.
Cons
Customization is hard to work with. Support also isn't what it used to be, it's shifted from knowledgeable Canadian staff to overseas reps who often don't seem familiar with the program. A lot of the time, you're left figuring things out yourself or sending multiple follow-ups to get answers.

“everything under one roof”
Pros
Keeping my client details, matters, documents, templates and billing all in one place feels like a dream. Having everything under a single system makes managing my work much more convenient.
Cons
I'd really like to see more native integrations built directly by Clio instead of having to rely on tools like Zapier to connect apps and move data over. Zapier can be pretty awkward to work with and when Clio updates something in the software, it sometimes means rebuilding those automations from scratch.

“Best law practice management platform”
Pros
After trying demos from a lot of different law practice management platforms, it still stands out as the best option by a wide margin. It's not a flawless system but it absolutely gets the job done. The two-way texting, client portal and level of customization are especially strong and really hard to match.
Cons
A couple of my biggest frustrations are the flat-fee payment plans and the way notes work. I'd really like a feature that lets us quickly type a short status update without having to create a full separate note entry every time. The flat-fee payment plan process also needs improvement because right now I have to manually calculate the payment schedule and due dates. MyCase already automates this so Clio should be able to do the same.

“amazing support and cloud access”
Pros
The customer service has been incredible, the system is simple to use and being cloud-based makes it very convenient to access from anywhere.
Cons
customer support isn't available 24/7 and there's no option to send reminders by text message instead of only by email or through the app.

“Transformed my operations”
Pros
It has completely transformed the way I run my practice. Creating documents, logging calls and pulling up files all feels very user-friendly and simple. It helps me get a lot more done in much less time.
Cons
The only thing I'd really like to see is the ability to automate PDFs too, instead of being limited to Word documents.

“Detailed legal solution”
Pros
Having everything in one piece of software is really valuable and makes managing work much more convenient.

“dynamic and efficient platform”
Pros
Compared with other legal platforms I've used before, Clio feels far more dynamic and much more user-friendly. It helps me work more efficiently and makes delivering my services quicker and more productive.
Cons
The document review feature still has room for improvement. Reviewing and commenting on documents doesn't feel as smooth as it does in some other applications on the market.

“scales well with growing business”
Pros
Right from the start, it has been very simple to work with and feels like an excellent value. One of the biggest advantages is that it can scale alongside my practice while also helping the firm grow. I'm especially excited to connect more of the other tools I rely on, like QuickBooks, with Clio. It's also a huge plus that I can get clients onboarded and signed directly through Clio instead of relying on a separate e-signature platform.
Cons
The self-service help resources aren't particularly strong but thankfully the online chat support has been available when I've needed assistance.

“Smooth integration with Google Workspace”
Pros
Getting around it is very simple and the integration with Google Workspace works smoothly. I also really appreciate the app integrations which fit nicely into the workflow.
Cons
It would be even better with built-in AI. The historical invoicing features could be stronger, contact syncing needs improvement and Clio Grow could really use more tutorials.

“time-saving software”
Pros
Running my office takes a lot less time with this software which has been the biggest plus for me. The time tracking and billing features feel very user-friendly so I can spend more attention on my cases instead of getting stuck in admin work. I also really appreciate that it's cloud-based since I can pull up my files and data from anywhere and that makes day-to-day work much more convenient.
Cons
At the beginning, the hardest part was getting used to how much the platform offers. It felt a bit overwhelming at first to learn all of the functions and it took some time to adjust to the interface and figure out how to make the best use of all the available tools.
