User-friendly software!

Pros

It is very easy to use and the layout is simple to work with. Downloading files and sharing them with people both inside and outside the organization is also really convenient which I like.

Cons

Whenever there's an update or a new rollout some features that weren't part of the update tend to act up and show glitches or error messages.

Good tool

Pros

From the beginning I find the platform very user friendly so getting around and working in it has been hassle-free and easy.

Cons

Every now and then, frustrating errors suddenly appear on the website and interrupt what I am doing. When that happens, I cannot continue on the same page and have to refresh it. The downside is that all the content and text I had carefully prepared gets lost which is really discouraging.

Useful outlook posting and notes

Pros

One feature I really enjoy is the search column and the Litify note tab is especially useful since I can create a note and start a chatter directly from that note. Another thing I really like is being able to send an Outlook message straight into it without having to copy and paste anything manually. The expense spreadsheet is also a nice feature and works well for me.

Cons

There are still a few things that make it harder to use than it should be. Having too many tabs open can get overwhelming and the activity timeline feels a bit confusing. The main chatter tab on the case is also not very clear so it was hard for me to find the note that was posted from Outlook into this tool. I also don't like that when I merge or create a letter, the margins are not aligned and I am not able to adjust them properly.

drag and drop document editing

Pros

Uploading documents in Litify it really easy since I can just drag and drop files right into the system. It's also a big plus that I am able to make edits directly within the tool.

Cons

I notice the calendar is fairly limited. There isn't much you can do inside it and it doesn't let you remove items or even highlight calendar entries.

Highly valuable tool

Pros

Being able to tailor our client matters has been extremely valuable. It lets us build custom case reports for things like SOLs, medical record statuses and other matter-specific details. We can also generate the status reports our bank requires while still adjusting the output to match their exact field requirements.

Cons

The Docrio feature for saving emails to it matters really needs improvement. There have been several times when I removed the Docrio sync from an email because of confidentiality concerns but the email still synced afterward anyway. Once it's unchecked in the Outlook Docrio add-in, the syncing should stop immediately. On top of that the license pricing is very expensive.

Powerful fit for law firms

Pros

I find it very easy to use and it comes with a wide range of useful Salesforce customizations that really support the needs of a law firm. Docrio also makes document management much more convenient.

Cons

There is not much to complain about. The only thing is that it takes some time to learn because there are so many features and automations built into the system.

Case management done right

Pros

Handling cases is very easy especially when I can quickly see which team member is assigned to each one. I also really enjoyed keeping everything organized in one place, from discovery deadlines to contact details.

Cons

One part that was confusing was the info score and not really knowing what impacts it. There is definitely a bit of a learning curve at first but once you get the score where it needs to be, it feels very rewarding.

great dashboards and reporting

Pros

Having everything connected in one place especially the products and reporting, makes the platform feel very complete. The dashboards and profile settings can be customized in so many ways which really helps tailor day to day work to different needs.

Cons

Getting comfortable with the system takes a long time. Even after using it for months, I still do not feel like I have fully mastered it and the number of options available for each task can feel overwhelming.

fantastic for case files

Pros

Working in Litify has been really easy for saving, editing and managing documents. Plus it makes case management much more organized and one feature I especially like is being able to upload a file as a new version instead of deleting the old one or keeping multiple copies in the same file.

Cons

Its layout can seem a bit complicated. Once you get familiar with where the tabs and options are though, it becomes very simple to use.

powerful department-focused workflows

Pros

The department-specific task lists are really helpful and Litify comes with a lot of features that let us handle our daily responsibilities efficiently.

Cons

Training was a bit challenging at first because there was a lot to learn and the system wasn't very user friendly right away. Once I got used to it though it became much easier to navigate and work in.

allows easy case access

Pros

It is very user friendly and it is simple to locate documents and information for a specific case or matter.

Cons

Since each case can store a large amount of information, the full case page takes a while to load before everything is ready to review or the documents can be found.

custom reports, cluttered screens

Pros

Running reports is not a problem anymore, plus it stores a large amount of data and the platform can be customized quite a bit. Reporting problems is also simple and the role feature has been genuinely useful.

Cons

Searching for information can be frustrating unless the spelling or formatting is exact. It also takes too many clicks to get to what you need, the layout feels crowded and hard to navigate and it tends to open far too many tabs.

Great for case handling and sharing

Pros

Handling cases and sharing files in Litify has not been a problem at all. We switched over from another system and although we brought some of the matter plan from that older program, not all of it transferred over very well.

Cons

One thing that's frustrating is having to generate every document one by one. It would be much better if we could select multiple documents and generate them all at the same time.

Provide case management boost

Pros

It is a friendly and flexible system thats simple to use and makes tasks much easier. Once everything is fully set up and connected, it will let us handle intake results in the same platform, improve case management with Litify and stop relying on uiBakery which sometimes freezes.

Cons

It does freeze from time to time. Sending a text message can also take several minutes to go through. On top of that having a training environment would really help with learning and exploring the tool better.

customizable but visually crowded

Pros

One thing that works well with Litify is how easily we can stay in touch with clients. It can seem a bit busy or complicated at the beginning but it also gives us the flexibility to customize it to fit our needs.

Cons

The part I liked least about it is that there's so much going on across the screen that important information can sometimes get buried or overlooked.

Dashboard and reports shine

Pros

Having everything in one place means I am not constantly jumping between a bunch of tabs to reach different sections. The reporting options are really useful too and the dashboard is something I genuinely like using.

Cons

A few areas where documents need to be attached still require pasting in a document link instead of letting you search for the file directly. Using a searchable bar would be much faster and more practical than tracking down the link, copying it and pasting it where it needs to go.

Secure case collaboration

It is very easy to use and it gives me a secure way to stay connected with my coworkers on specific cases.

Cons

Centralized case access, weak support

Pros

Working with hybrid and remote legal teams has been much more manageable thanks to Litify's centralized workspace. Attorneys, paralegals and support staff can all view real-time case updates, keep an eye on key deadlines and share notes in one place instead of depending on long email threads or disconnected tools. Clients benefit too since communication is clearer and response times are quicker.

Cons

The licensing model doesn't work well for migration law firms and the interface is not user friendly. Support also hasn't been very good.

helpful for files and cases

Pros

Litify is a user friendly tool. It also offers plenty of options for sharing files and it has been very useful for both document management and case management.

Cons

I noticed that it responds slowly and could definitely be more responsive overall. Other than that, I really do not have any other complaints.

Mixture of good and bad

Pros

Having everything in one place is really helpful. It makes it quick to look up client emails and phone numbers and being able to save doctor email information is useful too.

Cons

Automatic case triggers have been frustrating. I still cannot figure out how to make them work for our practice and every time a new intake turns into a matter, I get flooded with around 20 emails that I end up ignoring.
